Audio-video Kits - monster, analog
Click here for more information I'm an old school musician. Good ears. Good cables have always been a must: Always just for durability and insulation. But the new high tech very expensive types that enhance bass or treble? This is a newer concept. I compared video cables on my DVD player: Component. Both Monster. One 30 dollars the other 120$. There was enough of a difference to gulp and buy the 120$ one. Because of this difference I tried with audio. These audio cables do make a difference if you have the equipment that "hears" the response. If you have expensive equipment it makes no sense to get cheap cables. Like putting low octane fuel in a Ferrari. If you don't care or the equipment is general quality then any Monster will cover you for insulation. It always makes sense to get better cables that come with the equipment. These cables are the lowest of the high-end types that enhance the quality of the sound in specific ways. Good enough for me. They sound great. Crisp and rich. Gives me a bit more volume also. And just to note: These cables have an arrow on them which tells you which way the sound needs to travel. The arrow points toward the player from the source. Monster ULT I600-4 Ultra 600 RCA Stereo Cables (4 feet)
I have used every version of Monster's audio interconnect cables and the THX version has two issues that should be "fixed". When connecting to the RCA jacks the turbine-cut connector is too stiff and too tight and you risk damage to the RCA jack and your fingers. I used 3 pair of these to make the connection for SACD and each of the 6 varied from hard to near-impossible to push on (they all had to be "stretched" by putting them on a non-functioning RCA jack where I could at least get leverage, but inconsistent fit and difficult even then). This exposed the second issue; the connectors are big and just barely fit side-by-side as is required in a analog multi-channel array (SACD or DVD). And this array makes getting all 12 connectors secured (6 on each end) a ridiculous task. I appreciate the need for a good secure connection but this is not it.
OK the cables are good once on and function perfectly on the SACD playbacks. The price is good but you do get what you pay for...inexpensive AudioQuest would have been 3 times higher...$180 v $60.
I've read reviews complaining about the "overly tight fit". I disagree completely. You want them to be on tight and grip well. The turbine cut collar will open up slightly if you twist clockwise as you insert or remove them, as soon as you stop twisting it chomps down again. These are very rugged cables: they're stiffer than most and the RCA connector is longer than most, make sure you have room behind your gear before you open up and install a bunch of sets of them. They have a directional arrow for the signal direction. I don't know why, there certainly isn't a diode in them. I guess all cords come with magic in them now. Do they sound better? I'm not sure, but willing to believe they do. I didn't A/B test them, but they sound great. I have then between an Arcam CD player and a vacuum tube Audio Research preamp, and from that preamp to a vacuum tube Audio Research power amp.
When I got a new flat screen TV, I wanted to make sure I had the best cables for audio. The clips are strong and obviously more durable than your basic cables. The gold-plated connectors ensure full signal transfer with no glitches. Because these cables are 2-way balanced bandwidths, your treble and bass signals are much clearer and crisper with no `crackles' or `drop-outs'. If that weren't enough, you would pay more than three times this price at any electronics store. Good stuff, plus THX (George Lucas) approved.
Caution: This model is only four feet in length!
Here's a review on these Monster Cables I bought. So many people buy these cables but at full retail then they review and complain about them being over priced. I buy them at discounts like this, I mean it's $16 for a $50 retail cable. why not buy it? it's like buying a $2 cable that just works. With these you get the cable with extra insulation, Gold color connectors, super tight connection, a nice looking jacket around the internal wire(s), they look good and hey you can even tear em' apart if you want to lol. anyway, I've stuck with Monster just because it's a good looking and good cable and you can get them cheap. I'll never pay full retail for any of them nor will I ever come close to it, that's pointless when you can get them at a price like this. I've personally never had any problems with them, but they are very tight connecting.
I fell in love with Monster Cable when I first got into serious A/V more than 10 years ago. Their 600 series is their "good" line out of "good, better, and best" but don 't liet that turn you away. The construction and copper in these are still FAR better than that of a normal cable and even other so called premium cables. Heavy guage/High purity copper wiring, a rigid external jacket to prevent damage, and 24ct gold connections make these cables a must for any person serious about their sound. - Monster - Video Games - Analog - Rca Cables

Canon Scanner - portable scanner, canon
Click here for more information I've been using this scanner for six months and have come past my initial enthusiasm to a more settled satisfaction. The scanner is fast and gives results as good as any scanner I've owned--and I've owned a number over the years. Moreover, it's a classy little instrument--well-built, folds up into a perfect little glossy black box. I leave it on a window ledge in my living room and except for the cords, it doesn't look out of place.
I've found that convenience is the most important factor in my life with scanners. It can be fast, but if it's bulky or ugly and I have to put it away when I'm done with it, then it's inconvenient to use and I get tired of it. My multi-function printer/scanner is fast, but woefully inconvenient. Either it won't work on the network, its driver won't work with my computer, or it's physically distant because I don't want it near the living area of my house. I never use the thing to scan.
I also have a little NeatWorks scanner. It's small and convenient, but slow as molasses in January. I hate waiting on it. And I have a Canon plate-type scanner. It does beautiful scans, but it's slow and though slim, still too large to leave out in the living room.
This scanner's chief charms are its looks, compactness and speed. It's physically fast. It's also fast on the software side. I plug in the scanner, hit the big scan button and the scanner fires up its software utility on the computer, scans the document and asks me where I want it saved. That simple. One button and you're done: from plugging in the scanner to scan on your desktop it's a matter of seconds.
One positive about the scanner I didn't fully appreciate when I ordered it is its ability to do double-sided scans without a second pass through the machine. It incorporates two scan surfaces into its feed allowing a double-sided scan with just one pass through the machine.
The negatives which have become more apparent to me over time are few but significant. Most significant in my mind is the machine's inability to sheet-feed certain types of paper consistently. I use legal pads for handwriting and then scan my notes. The scanner is unable to grab one sheet at a time with this paper. It does better with thinner, flimsier, cheaper paper. Good quality paper causes it to grab three and even four sheets at a time. This is a real frustration.
Less frustrating is the automatic duplexing capability. Sometimes I want only one side of a sheet, but if there's anything at all on the back it gets scanned as well, leaving you with an extra page you must remove from the scan. Since I own the full version of Acrobat I can do this easily, but I'm not sure this would be so easily accomplished for someone possessing just Acrobat Reader.
Finally, when folding the machine up into its little box it's important to close the paper guides first. If you forget, they'll get force-closed by contact with the inside of the box, but I suspect over time such contact could break the guides. Canon imageFORMULA P-150 Portable Document Scanner (Scan-tini)
The Scantini replaces my Canon multifunction photo printer/scanner/fax machine, the MP830, after its scanner head broke recently. For document scanning, this device is superb. It offers high scan quality, duplex scanning (both sides at once), TWAIN driver support (so you can use it with Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) and is very small. The Canon driver for Mac OS X also offers good options and tweaks. I researched several other document-focused scanners and found this to be the best on paper. I haven't been disappointed.
My scanning setup (for documents) is to scan at 600dpi into Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro for the Mac, which gives you great print scanning with its ClearText feature enabled. I scan all of my financial docs, interesting magazine articles, etc., so it is a mix of glossy magazine pages and matte laser printouts. After scanning, I use Acrobat's "Reduce File Size" option to make the PDFs a manageable size. The Scantini image quality is great, at least the equal of the MP830, and it works very fast.
Part of the speed ability for the Scantini is its duplex support. Some scanners, like the MP830, offer duplex by means of running the document through twice. This takes twice as long as the Scantini, which scans both sides of the page at once, and increases the likelihood of a paper jam.
The Scantini stands apart from some of its smallish, document scanning competitors like the Fujitsu Scansnap by offering TWAIN support with its drivers. This allows you to use the Scantini with programs that support the TWAIN imaging interface, such as Photoshop and Acrobat. Without TWAIN support, you cannot scan directly into Acrobat. I believe you have to use the bundled scanner software to produce the PDF, then import that PDF into Acrobat for any further work. Beyond creating an extra step, this may result in reduced scan quality, since Acrobat is not working directly on the raw scanned image.
A final plus is the small size. The Scantini takes up little space on your desktop and folds up neatly when not in use. It can run off USB power from your laptop and could be taken on a trip, although I wouldn't do so (a bit too big for that and I'd be worried about damaging the scanning head if it was jostled in my bag).
Note that I've found the Scantini works great with anything short of a rigid photo or other document. The scanned item needs to be slightly flexible and not too thick to go through the scanner. A photo could go through fine, although the scan quality would be reduced compared to a flatbed scanner that offers greater dots per inch than the 600dpi of the Scantini. I tried scanning a glossy, rigid football game ticket and got poor results, as the thickness of the ticket caused it to skew as it went through the scanner.
Also, I give it 4 stars for value for the money because it is expensive (my Canon MP830 multifunction device was $300, I believe, and did more tasks than scanning documents), but it is price-competitive with other inferior (as best as I can tell) document scanners and offers better performance at document scanning than a multifunction device would. - Scanner - Canon Scanner - Canon - Portable Scanner

Iphone Screen Protector - iphone 4, accessories
Click here for more information Before i bought the case, it said the bumper is made by apple. And the picture also shows that its made by Apple. But after I opened the package, and I found out its a fake one. the quality is so bad.... I'm very very disappointed. I want my money back! Apple iPhone 4 Bumper - Case for cellular phone - plastic - white - Apple iPhone 4
I cant believe people like this try to take advantage of already overpriced crap. Go to your nearest apple store bc they are only $29 there- don't pander to these a**holes. I will never buy from this company and hopefully others will follow suit- price gouging on Amazon is pretty low.
PS: this item works ok- has helped with the drop call issue, but slips off constantly when u try to slip it in your pocket. My suggestion is to get an invisi-shield wrap around it- that way your iphone isn't as slick and the bumper stays on a bit better.
It is a good case and fit the white Verizon iPhone4. However, the white case pick up very visible dirt. It does not complement the look of the white iPhone at all. Given that it is an Apple product, I was very disappointed by the overall look.
Bought this for my White Verizon Iphone. Main issues were -
1. The vibrate on/off slider on the side did not line up correctly. Not sure if this is the case with all iPhones, all Verizon iPhones or just the white one.
2. It got pretty dirty after a few days. The black from my pockets rubbed off on it.
3. Some of my headphones connectors won't get all the way in with the bumper on.
It was pretty cheap so not a huge loss but I'm definitely going to buy another one.
Despite the cheap price and the title to make you believe this is apple's iphone 4 bumper, this product is a knock off and a really bad one at it. The color of this bumper started to turn yellow the very next day. Save your self the $4.
I bought this white bumper just because I just bought 'white' iPhone 4 on the day of release. If you want to preserve the beauty of the white iPhone 4 with minimal but adequate protection, this is the product for you. I did not want a bulky protective case or something to cover up the entire phone. My iPhone 4 is covered with a protective and scratch proof film and this bumper protects a direct contact of the iPhone body with the surfaces such as desk, table and etc.
There is only one problem. When the phone is used with this bumper, the non-Apple charge cable does not fit all the way. It has to be used with a genuine Apple charge cable. Apple does not offer a car charger so I used a car charger cable for 3G from other company and found it did not fit with iPhone 4 with this bumper. Eventually I had to buy a cigar socket adapter with USB port on so that I can use Apple charge cable, which is the only fit when the bumper is used.
I recommend this bumper only when the good design of iPhone 4 needs to be maintained.
I got this bumper to cover the edges of my iPhone that my white carbon fiber skin didn't cover. For less than $7, it does what I need it to do.
It stretches fine over my phone. The color is ok. I have never had another bumper, so I can't say if the quality is better or worse than others, but it works for me. It isn't flimsy.
My only complaint is that I can't use my docking station or any other charger besides Apple's original one with this on, but that, I hear, is typical of bumpers.
I am happy overall with my purchase. - Iphone 4 - Accessories - Case - Iphone Screen Protector

Htc Inspire Case - htc inspire 4g
Click here for more information Bought the phone. Couldn't find a pouch case ANYWHERE that fit, as the Inspire is wider than most of its peers. This pouch even fits with a skin case on the phone. Wow. Great price. Great service from the seller, too. Premium Executive Black Vertical Leather Carrying Pouch Case for HTC Inspire 4G (Free Gift)
This product fits the phone like a glove. Leather seems sturdy, durable and of good quality. It protects the phone well as I don't have a cover over the phone. It has a magnet that keeps the cover in place which also seems to work well. Hopefully, that will last. It has a clip that stays in place on all garments.
This product is well worth the price if your goal is protection and quality.
Just received this via U.S.P.S and for once they were pretty darn fast with delivery. Open the package, a white bubble pack mailer envelope and found a very nice case. Surprised it had a magnetic invisible catch. Clip looks very well attached and strong. Phone fits in snuggly and I'm fairly certain it will loosen up with use. Still need to apply 'skins and hope it all slides together smoothly. I'll try and write an addendum to this after using it. For the price it's a sure thing.
Although I have a sleeve on my phone I wanted to have a way to carry it without having to have my purse with me, especially when exercising. The case is light and easy to access and also fits very well.
I received the case as promised. It works as promised. I feel the clip is very strong and should do well during my usage of the product.
I enjoy the magnetic lock as opposed to other snap type closures. Many reviews have stated that the case is not leather. I'm not an expert. It may not be leather, but it appears to be durable, which is all I really wanted!
This is a nice product. It is very attractive and would be very at home with the white collar guys (suits). A little too nice for rough folks like me, not for the bluejeans and T-shirt crowd. Although it would serve to protect your phone very well anyway. IMHO
Could not be any happier with this purchase!
Excellent case, fits husband's 4G HTC Inspire, and almost every day he tells me he LOVES this case! Very sturdy, high quality, Leather, and UNBELIEVABLE price! We searched through several stores - Sams, Walmart's, Best Buy, and online looking for a case to fit husband's Inspire 4G and nothing would fit. So glad we found this on Amazon.
Also, we ordered the OTTER protective case for his Inspire through their website - (they're in stock now, so get these while you can!)
We fully expect the phone to fit (with the thick protective case) as the leather pouch has an expandable side. I will post a follow-up as soon as the Otter case arrives to let you know.
I like wearing my phone on my belt so it is accessible.
The HTC Inspire is a big phone, but this leather holder carries it well. Clip slides over the belt and holds securely.
Appears to be well constructed. Is holding up well so far. - Htc Inspire 4g

Ipad 2
Click here for more information For the most part, this case does what it's supposed to do. When I initially heard about the Apple Smart Cover, I knew it wouldn't be for me because I've owned portable Apple products before. The exposed metal on the back will always, ALWAYS become scratched over time without proper care. The Smart Cover doesn't address that reality.
Anyway, after a few days of researching and sitting on the fence, I decided to go with this particular case. It has a fair amount of positioning options, and they all work out pretty well. When you fold the front cover back into the latch, you can either set it down for a keyboard-friendly layout, or prop it up into landscape mode for or a more monitor-like experience. I wouldn't recommend standing the iPad up in Portrait Mode with this case though, it's just too wobbly.
My biggest gripe with the case is how loose the iPad eventually becomes. You slide it into the case, and on the left side there's a piece of cloth that you have to tuck behind your iPad to keep it secure. Unfortunately, friction is the only thing keeping the cloth and your device in place, so it tends to lose its grip easily. The iPad will sometimes start to slide downward when the case is standing, and it tends to also move around when I'm changing the general position of the case, or just holding it with the cover folded flat to the back. Too often, I was finding myself reaching behind the iPad to tuck that piece of cloth back in so I wouldn't have to worry about the device trying to slip out. I eventually alleviated that issue by applying 2 velcro strips- one to the cloth, and one to the inside of the case so it would keep the iPad firmly in place. Once I made that adjustment, I had absolutely no problems with the case anymore.
When it's all said and done, it's a nice case for the money. It protects my iPad and looks pretty sleek while doing so. Build quality could be just a little better, and I really wish I didn't have to apply my own workaround to keep the iPad securely fastened, otherwise this would easily be a 4 star product. CaseCrown Apple iPad 2 Royal Standby Horizontal case (Black) for the Apple iPad 2 Wifi / 3G Model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB
I did not like the fact that Apple's own iPad2 cover did not do anything to protect the back, so I did not purchase their original cover and waited to get a case for it. I'm glad I did. This case is very similar to the original iPad1 case from Apple. It protects the whole iPad2, not just the glass front. I'm not too fond of the velvet lining, but I can get used to it. Even better is that the price for this is less than the iPad2 cover only.
The case is OK but has a design flaw. The mechanism for holding the ipad 2 in the cases does not work. Ipad tends to slip out when in the case so that the rear camera is not usable. I solved the problem with some Velcro on the flap that is supposed to hold the ipad 2 into the case. Now it works fine.
I also wanted a case that would protect the back of my iPad 2. while this case does do that, there is not much else to recommended it. They case stretches with use and my iPad is constantly slipping out. I use my iPad primarily to talk with my husband via skype while he is deployed with the military. The case rubs against the microphone making it impossible to use without the ear buds w/microphone, which of course must be purchased separately. Another issue with slippage is that the case frequently covers the front camera and for the back camera one must hold the back flap away. There should be some way to hold it in place. It seems as if they just adjusted the placement of the holes and otherwise didnt change this case from the one for the original iPad. In short, it's too big which causes all kinds of secondary issues. Also, it off gases FOREVER as I have had it for a month and the smell of it still gives me headaches.
In terms of appearance it looks good due to its simple design and does a good job protecting the device with it's felt lining inside. It was very easy to insert the iPad but it took me a while to adjust it so the rear camera and the controls are not covered. The quality of the materials is not the best and the cover feels cheap. The elastic band that is used to keep it closed is a good addition but it can stretch out easily. On the outside, the pleather looks sturdy enough to stand normal wear and tear. If you are looking for a good-looking, low-cost case to protect your iPad this case will do a good job.
First off, I am an Apple fanboy and love most everything they release. But from the first minute I had the smart cover, I hated it. My iPad would slide all over the passenger seat when I was driving and the back wasn't protected.
So I started my search for a replacement. I found this one on Amazon and ordered it before it was available.
Right when I put it on, I was in love. It's not perfect, but it is very similar the the original iPad case. I love it and I love the angle that it sits at on the desk. Makes typing MUCH nicer on the iPad 2.
Highly recommend.

Multifunction Printer - canon, canon ink
Click here for more information I am very pleased with the quality and results using this particular photo paper.
I have used this paper consistently over the last 5+ years and have always had good quality printed pictures. I have used it with both a Canon 7-color photo printer as well as a 4-color all-in-one.
I have no reason to change. Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II, 4 x 6 Inches, 50 Sheets (2311B022)
There was a shipping mix up and the product was in limbo. In the meantime, I bought from anothe vendor. Once the mixup was corrected the product was delivered. I had been in communication with the vendor and they said I should refuse delivery. I did just that and waited for my refund. Three weeks later, my account was credited for the purchase price. All in all, everything worked out just fine. They recognized their mistake and made it right. I would buy from them in the future. - Canon - Canon Ink - Canon Photo Paper - Canon Paper

Power Plug Adapter - travel converter, voltage converter
Click here for more information I bought this converter to take with me to Italy while studying abroad. I used it while I was in Rome and it worked well. After doing a bit of research I leaned that converters shouldn't be left plugged in, especially while charging certain items, so I never left it plugged in for more than an hour or two at a time. It heats up quite a bit, so I would suggest not leaving it plugged in to long, especially when it's really hot. I used this converter to charge my laptop, cell phone, and camera battery. I didn't have any issues with it, so overall I'd say it worked great. The watts were good since I wasn't using it for a blow dryer, straightener, or curling iron. I was too nervous to attempt to bring those items along with me to use with foreign currency. The only reason I rated this product a little low is because it weighed a lot and every ounce matters when you have a 50lb weight limit for luggage. VCT VM-200 - 220V Travel Converter 200 Watts Deluxe Step Down Voltage Converter Adapter for Laptops and Light Portable Electronics.
I used this device on a recent trip to Europe. I tried it with my laptop (which doesn't need the conversion since it's power adapter can handle 120V and 220V) and charged my camera with it. It worked great. The only issue was that it does get a bit hot.
This did the job for on our trip to France but it is SOOOOO heavy and not at all compact.
The cord is long enough to make it easy to plug into an outlet and not be tied to the wall.
We used it for our Medela Symphony Breast pump which is a very expensive rental. - Converter - Travel Converter - Europe - Voltage Converter

Ipad 2 Screen Protector
Click here for more information Wow. I didn't expect to receive this total package for much less than what i would spend on an Apple iPad Leather Case. I am only interested in the leather case and the screen protector but i received so much more. What surprises me the most is the quality of the accessories. The leather case is very well built and feels good on my hand. The screen protector visibly reduces the glare from the sun. I haven't tried other accessories yet but they all seem to be well packed and solid. My final note is about the seller, i paid for 3-5 shipping but the seller upgraded it to next day without charging me additional arm and leg for it. Great job, CrazyOnDigital!!!! CrazyOnDigital Full 20 items Accessories Leather Case Charger Screen Protector for Apple iPad 2 2nd Generation 16GB 32GB 64GB 3G Wifi
We bought this pack not knowing what to expect. It seemed too cheap, for what you get. We were mostly interested in buying the protective screen for the iPad2, having seen the price of around $29 for just one screen in Best Buy. So we bought it, and it all arrived in about 4 days. The covers all fit fine. The leather case is pretty good quality, and the electric stuff all seems to work. The headphones with mic probably aren't what you want for listening to music, but they're perfect for talking on Skype or Facetime. Most importantly, the screen protector (3 sets!) installs very easily, and is totally invisible afterwards. We are very happy with this purchase...great package.
I mainly bought this for the hard cover. To be honest the house charger is pretty scary to me. It will over heat because of the high amp input (mine did at least). However I feel that I did get my money value out of the package, considering the prices of the items individually at stores near me. So I still gave it 5 stars. I like the audio splitters and of course the screen protectors. The high prices of screen protectors at stores near me seriously shocked me. Its a good value as a package.
It's kinda hard to review this item without an ipad2 (come on apple 3 weeks really?!)
Even before i bought this thing there were some strange things going on. the microphone they say is in the package is absent. and they never mention this book light....A BOOK LIGHT!!! why do you need a booklight for the ipad2?
based on the fact that it's $30.00
for a leather case (uses a magnet, not a button), a rubber protector...case..thing, and 3 screen protectors and a few earphones it's a bargain.
but the wristband, the non existing microphone, the booklight, the fish winders (are those even useful?) and all those damned cables are all there to sweeten the deal. if they just added the mic i would not be wearing this silly wristband!
The case for the IPad alone made this a deal winner - then add all the extra goodies that came with it, and it's a value of a lifetime. I've been using the case to protect my rather sizable IPad 2 investment daily and it seems to be holding up very well under daily use. The extra stuff is simply nice to have around. Arrived fast and everything was new and perfect. I like the company and I can't wait to give them more of my hard earned money.
I couldn't find a case for the price I received this entire bundle for. Shipping was fast. I haven't even received my Ipad which was ordered before this package. It's worth the money. Case may not be leather but will work just as well. No complaints here.
This is the second time buying product from this seller. The quality of products are good. The number of items makes this package a great value for money. The leather case is simple with 4 straps at the corners and can be used with the TPU skin for added protection. The headphones are a bonus since IPAD 2 does not come with any headphones. The splitter is nice if two people want to hear with their individual headphones, especially when watching a movie together. Overall it contains all you would need for your IPAD 2.
When i ordered this item, it was much cheaper, I paid about $7 for it, now is over $30.
I think $15-$20 is fair value, the items are ok but cheap made so it is ok for $15-$20 not over $30. My chargers didn't work and most of the items I dont use. So basically I now use one case and one set of earphones... The rest I threw away.
When I purchased this bundle for $2.97 + shipping. I thought that for under $6 if it was junk I would not be out any money. When the bundle arrived I was very pleased. Some of the items I will not use, but the screen protectors, covers, folder and the chargers were well worth the cost. One thing I do not understand is that in the time it took for my purchase to arrive, the cost steadily rose. I am not sure why.

Imitation Security Camera
Click here for more information This unit is just what it says and while its all plastic it does seem real from a distance. The red LED stays on about 2 sec then off for 1 sec as long as there are 2 AA batteries. Note that you need to mount it in a place where the camera is 3-4" above the mounting bracket. Overall, a good product for the money. Outdoor Fake / Dummy Security Camera w/ Blinking Light (Silver)
I don't want to embarrass anyone I know by naming names, but several people who saw these thought that they were real. We installed it at the same time as a real security system , so ithat probably contributed to it's apparent authenticity. I have had the same batteries in for a few months now, and they have not quit yet, but it still looks real without the blinking light.
I expected a much bigger camera so it would be highly visible to thieves. This one is only about 8 inches long. However, it does look realistic and I proceeded to mount it within 5 minutes. From outside and 50 feet away, the blinking light looks effective and I think this dummy camera, when combined with a sign that the area is under video surveillance, will deter thieves. It takes two AAA batteries which are not included. You probably should mount it under a roof so it is never exposed to rain.

Aaa Battery - duracell, aa
Click here for more information I'm pretty used to buying batteries online and finding they had been made long before I ordered them (had some CR123 with experations the next month from another vendor). In at least my case, my batteries from this vendor show a production date of 3/30/10...and I ordered them on April 18th. You can't get any younger batteries (exp is Mar2016). I'll be checking this distrbutor out for the rest of my battery needs. Duracell Coppertop AA Batteries, 28-Count
I got these about three weeks ago, and still haven't used them up yet. So many batteries. Awesome. So far, they've lasted about four times as long in my Canon digital point-and-shoot than my Energizer rechargeables. And they're on track to outperform the regular Energizers in my Xbox controllers. I think I'm a coppertop convert. The price is pretty good, too--probably not the absolute cheapest, but these are real Duracells (not knockoffs) that are far from their expiration date.
If you check out local stores, you will find these are at least a bit below retail sales price for these batteries. Batteries will always be around the same price, but a few dollars off is worth getting them through Amazon!
Although I'm sure my local fire department will cringe if they read this, I buy these things for our backups for our fire alarms and they last over 4 years! Wow! Now if I buy a knockoff brand, or even Energizer, I can only get 18 months out of them before they start squealing to be replaced. Plus, this 8 battery pack makes it awfully simple to have them around when it comes time to change them, and it's the right number for my house. Love these Duracells! Highly, highly recommend!
I tend to buy batteries based on two prime criteria. First, lithium for units that will have a long down time (since lithium holds its charge well over time, I hate to be surprised by an emergency flashlight that doesn't work); alkaline, for everyday appliances (it doesn't last as long, but the cost benefit ratio is beneficial). Second,I shop for a good price. Duracell alkalines are top of the line batteries that I prefer for all my everyday item, like remotes, clocks, mini-amps, etc. This particular offering is a great price, that I haven't matched anywhere.
Very highly recommended.
Live in foothills. After going through 3 days of no power and new storm coming, looked for D batteries and they were all sold out. Like the convenience of having enough and the price was right at Amazon!
Although I mostly use nimh cells these days for their higher current capacity and their green qualities of not being thrown away, there are things that still need alkaline batteries. Remote controlls can run 2 years on a set (although the eneloop cells are an option). Some flashlights need the 1.5 vs the 1.2 volt difference in alkaline cells and nimh. Also some times you don't have 4 charged up batteries ready to go, so alkaline is the alternative you pay for not keeping a set charged up.
I bought these when I bought my dad a weather station - it had about 5 outdoor devices, all used 2 ea alkaline batteries to run the radio remote weather sensors that transmit to the base station which used 4 AAs for backup if AC fails.
These are fresh date code, healthy cells and fill the bill just fine when you need them. NOTE - in some places where the outdoor equipment was hard to get to (have to climb on roof) I used the L91bp lithium alternative Energizer L91BP-8 Lithium AA Photo Battery (8-Pack) which you get about 8 cells for the price of 20 here, but they last 8 times longer, saving alot of trips to the roof to change the batteries. The down low sensors got alkaline cells instead. It's important to choose the right cell based on intended use, and this is one example. Also I have a temp sensor in the refrigerator that runs on lithium cells due to the low temp - they work fine at freezing temps, and will radio the temp to the weather station which has alarms set if the freezer fails. - Battery - Duracell - Aa - Aa Batteries

Iphone Clock Radio - ipod clock radio, ipod accessories
Click here for more information Whats to say, it's average, which I'm surprised it's not better being made by Sony, however, it does what it's designed to do. It's decent sound for an alarm clock. That's basically what it is, an alarm AM/FM Tuner that happens to have an Ipod dock. without the Ipod dock it's worth I'd say about 10.00 bucks. Compared to others though it was definatley reasonably priced. Sony ICF-C05iP Clock Radio for iPod (Black)
When I went to the different stores I was looking for a small, minimal space occupying alarm clock that I can put by my bedside that would charge my iPhone, an adjustable buzzer volume that would wake me up with the buzzer, and not illuminate my whole room. If you're looking for that, then this is the product you need. In my shopping in stores I found them all to be too large, or the clock too bright, or the buzzer wasn't loud enough and didn't give you the option to adjust the volume to a level suitable for yourself. If you're looking for a high quality sound system, I doubt this is product for you because even though I didn't test the sound, I can't see it being used to provide music for a house party because it is so compact. I also really like that the ability to adjust the brightess of the alarm clock is real easy to find because it doubles as the snooze button when the alarm isn't going off. So, if it happens to be too bright you can adjust it easily. It has 3 levels of brightness and the option to completely turn the backlight off. I also am going to like the one touch button on back that will adjust up and back for daylight savings time. So basically my need for an alarm clock-iPhone charger was finally met in this product. Set up quickly and so far very happy with it.
Love it, and it is even better than the description makes it sound. I love that I can set the volume for the alarm itself so that I can listen to music while I fall asleep and not have to worry about it being to low in the morning to wake me up. I also love that I can turn the backlight off at night. The only issue I have with it is that it is really easy to accidently snooze for longer than you would like. If you push the snooze button more than once it increases the snooze time, so be careful with that.
This clock radio from Sony does the job. It is easy to understand and use. You can listen to your iPhone/iPod or to the radio - your choice. I put my iPhone in it each night and use the alarm on my iPhone to wake me up. Each morning my iPhone is fully charged and ready to face another day. There are no extras here so don't expect them. It simply does what it is meant to do very, very well.
Bought this for my IPod Touch (4th gen) to use at the office and it works great. Sound is good for a clock radio. It's not something you'd use for your main sound system, but for music in the office, it's great!
We were looking for a smaller option to go on the nightstand that would accommodate the iPhone or iPod and also be just a radio alarm clock if needed. So far we are happy with the quality of the sound and how it works. The option to turn the light off is nice and the radio reception appears to be better than the regular radio alarm clock we already had. It is easy to set up and use.
After trying a really crappy iHome iA5 and a confusing Jensen JiPS-250i, I went for simple-but-elegant with this Sony. Worked beautifully right out of the box. Don't want apps, don't want bells and whistles, don't need concert hall-quality sound. Just want an iPhone clock radio that will reliable charge my device and let me listen to my podcasts in bed at night without generating a bunch of error messages about how "this accessory is not optimized" for use with my iPhone. This one does the job. Small footprint on bedside table is a nice bonus.
Highly recommended.
Loved the size of this for next to my bed. It was ideal and I was so happy when I got it. 3 weeks later I woke up and no time was displayed and my iPhone wasn't charged. It just no longer worked. You need to save the box for the return period. Aggravating and so disappointed by the waste of money.
This little machine is great! It's compact, the speakers are pretty good and the dimmer light is good for me....I like a very dark room when I sleep. It's very easy to set the clock, set the sleep timer etc. I have had some clocks in my life that took a college degree to figure it out. And the best part is that my iPhone is always handy and charged. Great product. - Volume - Ipod Accessories - Ipod Clock Radio - Clock Radio

Rockstar Games - video games, rockstar games
Click here for more information *No Spoilers* just details that can hopefully help the undecided
First review (had to really great game) don't be too harsh
What an amazing game this is so far. The environment is so vivid. Graphics are up to par. This game was made for the Ps3!
Being a Rockstar Game, the controls are very similar to Grand Theft Auto & Red Dead Redemption. The controls also reminded me of Mafia II. Very smooth and fluid. There's also a map on the bottom left corner just like in the other Rock* games.
This game is not as fast paced as Grand Theft Auto. It is not a shoot first ask questions later type of game. Keep that in mind before buying. I'm enjoying it but I can just imagine some people hating it for be slow paced.
Investigating crime scenes can be so exciting as you do not know what or where your next clue will be. You are given the freedom to walk around and find clues with the assistance of vibration/music as you get near them.
There is no multiplayer for this game, which can be good or bad. I for one will be way too busy solving crimes around Los Angeles to even notice.
The PS3 version of the game comes with an exclusive DLC card to download a case called Consul's Car.
I pre-ordered from Best Buy so I received The Sharpshooter suit also.
And I was there for the midnight release so I received the nicholson electroplating DLC.
I will update as I get farther in the game & notice more helpful tips/details
Update:
The characters in LA Noire look so real. When they speak, it is shown in their facial expressions. No lip syncing here, it looks like they are actually talking. When a victim/witness is upset you can notice how their eyebrows kind of fold in.
Interrogation
When questioning a victim/suspect/witness you can choose from accepting it as the truth, lies, or doubt. Choose wisely. There's a score system which will provide you with experience points if you ask the right questions. These points can help you find clues easier.
Driving
I've experienced that some of the cars start to swerve if you're going too fast. Also even though you have destinations, you can just cruise the city limits. If you get lost, your partner will be more than glad to give you directions. "Make a left, take the right" kind of thing.
Fist fights
Some guys just don't give up without a fight. Team Bondi provides a nice block and punch system to knock some sense into them.
I've noticed you can use the block to make your opponent attack & opening himself for a nice right hand hook.
Cover system
By going into cover, the player can look around to see where the bullets are flying in from. This way you can pick the enemy out one by one. The Cover system allows you to regain health if you need to. Sometimes you will be outnumbered and outgunned. So this is where the cover system comes in handy. Cover and peek out when the enemy is reloading if they have serious fire power. The first time I ran into a shooting. I caught a bullet in the back. You've been warned!!!
Health
There was an actual opened bloody wound on my back for a while. But as my health recovered it went away. so you can restore your health by staying out of harm's way. I like this system better than Grand Theft Auto's health packages.
Thanks for reading! L.A. Noire
I'm 33yrs old and I've been playing video games most of my life and I can honestly say that after playing this game for five hours this is one of the best games I have ever played. It is like watching a (mystery) movie and being able to control the plot. Graphics are excellent, controls are very easy to use.
I pre-ordered this game from amazon, they honored the pre-order price of $59, and I got a $15 credit towards my next game...I also ordred the .99 release day delivery and received it on time. Today (one day after the game came out) they increased the credit $5, but I'm not concerned about it.
Just a note, that this game is rated M and is definitely not for kids...You do very graphic detective work on brutal raped/murdered victims.
Aside from the controls, this game isn't like any other Rockstar game made...You can't go running around going crazy causing chaos like Red Dead Redemption or any GTA series. It is what they say it is, it is innovative and a very refreshing experience. I would say that this game could open a totally new Genre in the near future.
Buy this game here at amazon and enjoy it.
I love this game for so many reasons, yet the few irritating drawbacks infuriate me. The atmosphere, music, facial expressions, and story are amazing. I want to advance through the game as quickly as possible to find out how things progress. However, the completely hit-or-miss interrogation sessions and rooting through garbage can crime scene investigation have me sick enough to quit.
The facial expressions and voice acting are just as incredible as advertised. I knew going into this that picking up on facial ticks and eye darting were key to detecting inconsistencies in testimony. Still, no matter how you play it, there's no way to tell whether you should believe, doubt, or catch the witness in a lie. Some of the lying is completely obvious, yet you still lose for not selecting the correct choice between "doubt" or "lie". I don't mind doing more investigation to solve the case, but I hate feeling like a failure when the game gives me no other options or assistance.
I also tired of the same old crime scene investigations. You move from area to area, waiting for the controller to rumble so that you can investigate. Sometimes its evidence worthwhile, but more often its just a bottle or an ashtray worth nothing. Often times you find yourself re-examining an area after all other evidence has been found, as if you'd missed something the first time.
It pains me to write this review. I had this preordered, and had been counting down the months to its release. I still find it an amazing piece of entertainment, pushing the boundaries of what a video game can be. Yet some of the elements are just not implemented in a way that can be considered fun, or an attainable challenge. When you don't know why you're getting things wrong or misinterpreting information, there's no reason to hone your technique or continue. I'll probably just finish this up with a strategy guide so I know how to answer the interrogations. - Playstation 3 - Video Games - Rockstar Games - Adventure

Internet Tv - remote viewing, internet tv
Click here for more information I have been considering the Slingbox for quite some time. I decided to go ahead and buy one when Sling Media came out with this new model.
Installation was an absolute breeze. It was so easy I was shocked! I was watching DirecTV/TIVO on my PC within 5 minutes of opening the box. I have broadband internet which is quite fast. Full screen viewing on my 20" 16:10 screen is somewhat grainy and blurry, but definitely viewable. I prefer to use about 1/3 of my screen for the viewer (SplingPlayer) and the other 2/3 for other applications. Nice sharp picture quality with this set-up! Surfing the web while watching TV is no problem. Web pages still load quickly and video is still sharp/smooth. Haven't tried to download a large file while viewing yet.
SlingPlayer is great! Choose full screen, left/right side, or adjust as you see fit. When you choose left or right side your internet browser (or whatever application you are running) will snap into place to cover the rest of your screen automatically. Very nice user interface and many skins to choose from.
No matter where you are, as long as you have an internet connection, you can watch your TV. I have Tivo which makes this device shine! I can watch my directv, watch anything that is recorded on TIVO, order pay-per-view, set up a program to record. Basically you can do anything that you can normally do with your DVR. The on screen remote control even looks identical to the real remote.
How is it different from the original Slingbox? I can't speak from actual experience since I don't own the original, but as far as the specs go there are some pros and cons.
The original Slingbox had a coax input. So you can hook up directly to analog cable or antennae. You can't do this with the SlingBox AV, but you can with the new SlingBox Tuner. The SlingBox Pro will do both analog and digital (and component HDTV).
The pros... The new SlingBox AV claims to have:
* SlingStream technology delivers up to a 400 percent video quality improvement over the original Slingbox
And the new SlingPlayer v1.4 for the Slingbox Tuner/AV/Pro provides:
* Improved video quality on the LAN: up to 4x the resolution of the previous SlingPlayer and over 200% speed improvement.*
* Adjust the SlingStream LAN video quality to match your particular computer and network conditions.
* Improved Setup Wizard: new screens are streamlined and easier to use.
* Improved Setup Wizard: direct access to customer support via real time chat. Relax and let our tech supports set up your router for you!
* AutoUpdate feature added to the Setup process ensuring users always install the latest software for their Slingbox.
* Users can rapidly cycle between Fullscreen (4:3), Widescreen (16:9), Letterbox, Windowbox and Pillarbox window modes to find the best fit for their video content.
* Full-screen improvements: If you put SlingPlayer in maximized mode it will stay there.
* Show/Hide player controls with one-click toggle. Just click once on the main player window to remove the controls when you aren't using them.
* Audio Visualizations added to Audio-Only mode. WinAmp AVS support means that users can add their own visualizations.
* Physical remote controls: SlingPlayer now works with remotes that support Microsoft Application keys. Now you can sit back and click on a real remote control to control SlingPlayer.
* SlingPlayer has a whole new look with the RedLine skin--just one more way to change the SlingPlayer to suit your tastes. With SlingCentral and other user contributed skins there are over 30 different skins available and more coming every month.
I won't miss the analog coax connection, I don't need it. If you need analog coax only then buy the SlingBox tuner. If you need both coax and digital devices then buy the SlingBox Pro (which will also give you component HDTV, but no HDMI).
On a final note, this unit is tiny. Much smaller than the original. It's about 1.5"(H) x 3.5"(D) x6.5 (W). Your gonna here some people call this thing ugly in appearance. It's not really that bad and it's so small that it can easily be hidden behind your other components or just pushed toward the back.
I'm a gadget freak and this is the coolest thing I've purchased in a long time!! Just buy one! This would make an awesome gift for anyone interested in computers and TV. Sling Media Slingbox AV (SB240-100)
There isn't, honestly, much I can add that you're not seeing in either (well written) spotlight reviews. The Slingbox is, in my opinion, every bit as impressive as its reputation led me to believe it was. There were, however, a few things I labeled as being pretty important though, that I didn't clearly understand going in. I was hoping to just clear those up for any potential customers.
1. The way this works is that Slingbox, basically, hijacks one of your cable boxes. For example, if I was to turn on the TV that my Slingbox was set up on, it's going to display whatever I'm watching. If I lived alone, this wouldn't be a big deal; but between everyone else in my house, I can't completely monopolize a TV. What I did was just attach the Slingbox to my basement TV, which they never use.
2. A connection to your home network is required. I had mistakenly thought it was optional, that you were hooking SlingBox directly to your PC (like other tuner models). Make sure you have some kind of an access point to connect to. If I was to wish for anything, I would have loved if this model came with some kind of a built-in wireless card. It would have been one less piece of equipment I had to buy.
3. Mac software is now available for download. I know a lot of us were waiting ... now the wait is over.
4. Streaming video is a monster on your internet hook-up's bandwidth, just be prepared for the slow-down if you have a lot of internet-ready devices (notebook, xBox live maybe, etc etc) running all the time. If your system has some mileage on the tires, this might be a good excuse to consider upgrading it a little bit.
Other then that, as I said, this is every bit as good as advertised. Enjoy it! - Internet Tv - Slingbox Av - Remote Viewing - Tv Series

Iphone 3g Charger - ipod charger, mp3 charger
Click here for more information Like most folks here, I am very happy with this charger, happy that it costs half as much as an apple-branded ipod charger yet has two USB jacks instead of one.
Some folks here have found this charger doesn't put out enough power for particular devices. Before purchasing this charger, it's a good idea to compare the power requirements for your device with the power this charger puts out.
The charger puts out 5.2 volts, and 500mA per USB port.
The charger also includes over-voltage protection and short circuit protection.
For more tech specs, see p.4 of the manual:
[Amazon deleted my link to the manual; I'll try to put it in a comment.] Griffin PowerBlock Dual Universal Charger for MP3 Players and USB Devices (Black)
Works as advertised. If your device charges off of a computer's USB port (without a special driver), it should charge off of this. USB spec is up to 500mA per port (see wikipedia) so this product seems to be built to USB specs.
(does not charge my motorola cell phone, but I wasn't expecting it to)
I bought 2 of these to help my family charge our devices without scrambling for plugs. I am very disappointed. Even though it has 2 USB ports, it will not charge 2 items at the same time. For example if I plug in my iPhone it will start charging and then if I plug in my Nook, the Nook doesn't charge until I disconnect my iPhone. If I then reconnect my iPhone it will not charge until the Nook is disconnected. Don't bother with this, buy a power strip instead.
So far this has been an excellent charger. For those who care, essentially no power is consumed when the charger is plugged in but not charging. I tested it against my amp meter: 0.000 amps when not charging but green light showing, and around 0.0650 amps when charging my iPod. So you can leave this plugged in and not worry about consuming power when idling.
My PowerBlock was used infrequently (once a month or so) and lasted just over a year. The plastic holding the metal prongs/plugs cracked and one of the metal plugs no longer stays in... Griffen indicated that they could not help as the product was outside the warranty period. I can understand that, but I expected more from a lightly used product.
Here's a list of devices I've successfully charged using the Griffin PowerBlock:
-iPod Touch 3G
-iPod Nanon 1G
-HTC Fuze
-Logitech Performance Mouse MX
-Sony Reader Touch
-Kensington Mini Battery Extender and Charger
-Garmin Nuvi 760
It actually charges both devices at the same time so what more could you want? Great product!
When you are travelling, you are travelling with a little suitcase of applicances/gadgets these days. Our little travel plug can nolonger cater for all the gadgets that come with us. Great use for most USB powered lines, but DOES NOT work for ipads or for blackberries. The iphones/touch works. we love the Griffin brand, so this was a no brainer. the prongs contract into the body of the charger so makes packing even more easier. we love it for those who travel with ipods/mp3, mini speakers, iphones/touch.
I bought this universal charger for travel since I wanted to cut down on the cords and chargers I pack. So far it's worked fine with these devices: HTC Incredible, iPod Nano 4gen, and Nook eReader. For the most part I only charge one device at a time, but it seems to work equally well with two.
While it's a bit slower to charge than the stock chargers that come with the devices, I expected that with each port putting out 500 mA. Also I have used it overseas as well with a converter with no problems. - Ipod Charger - Chargers - Charger - Mp3 Charger

htc inspire case - htc inspire case
Click here for more information This is a great case with all the normal Seido Innocase II perks; soft touch coating, felt lining, and perfect fit. The only real drawback is that the power button is at a weird angle and this case doesn't make it any easier to push down. There's almost no space between the earpiece speaker grille and the power button so the button sits right against the plastic, and while this isn't really Seido's fault I do think it could have been engineered better. It's only a minor gripe though, since I've already gotten used to it and it's not a big deal.
The pros far outweigh the cons on this case. It's sleek, feels great in the hand, and will keep your phone from getting scuffed up if you happen to drop it. It also lets you set it on a desk without it resting on the camera protrusion, and on its face without the glass touching anything. It does add some bulk, but nothing you can't get used to quickly.
I highly recommend it, despite my minor gripes. Seidio SURFACE Case for HTC Inspire 4G/Desire HD (Black)
This Seidio case is felt lined hard plastic case with a rubberized coating. The contact points fit snugly around the HTC Inspire with some extra buffer between the case and the shell for what I assume is shock buffering. The case is a two piece that snaps together and will not be easily removed (a good thing). When I tried to take the phone out of the case, I had to lift the latch point by pinching the sides and pushing at the latch base before I was able to pull the bottom off. The felt, the fit and the angle pulled the phone SIM/SD cover off with it. As such, it is unlikely that this case will accidentally fall off your phone.
The case does add a little bulk to this already larger than average phone, but the extra space is put to good use to protect the camera lens and to minimize accidentally pressing the volume rocker (something I would constantly do while trying to type in landscape orientation). Unlike the previous reviewer, I had no problem with the power button cutout. It does appear to be designed for easier access from the back of the phone, which is how you would normally do it if you were holding the phone in your hand. However it only takes a little more effort to press the power button from the front.
Overall, I am well satisfied with this case and the only improvement I can think of is if they made a full rubber version for better shock absorption.
This is a really great case for the HTC Inspire. It is a slim design that does not add much bulk. It wraps around the corners of my Inspire, providing protection all around. It's not easy to get off and fits securely. I love the feel of the outside, a smooth rubber, which enhances my grip. There is also felt lining the inside, providing extra protection.
This case just came in, and the case is awesome, very smooth surface. I like the fact that it has a soft interior fuzzy material inside to protect the case of the actual phone. I definately would recommend this product. I also looked at the other two reviews, the button is not hard to reach because of the case, no flaws , power button is easy to reach and press.
This is a nice case.
It reminds me of the incase Slider I have on my iPhone 3GS, in look and feel and the way the case installs on the phone. In fact, holding my HTC Inspire in my new Seidio Innocase feels almost exactly like holding my beloved iPhone 3GS in the Slider, except my HTC Inspire, with its luciously vibrant, big-a$$ed 4.3" screen, feels a bit larger.
Before getting the Seidio Innocase I had an inexpensive TPU case I bought on eBay for eight bucks. This was actually a decent case, except it didn't provide ANY protection for the camera and the TPU seemed a little slippery.
The Seidio Innocase is a little wider than my TPU case, but not much; holding the phone with the new case feels about the same as far as size is concerned.
The Seidio Innocase has the same feel as my incase Slider, a nice hard plastic feel with a little bit of fuzziness to it. Weird but true. I like the feel of this case. It has a good "grip".
Like any decent case, this Seidio has a small lip that protects your screen when you set your phone facedown on a surface. The lip is not terribly high (is about the same as my TPU case) and doesn't get in the way of using the screen.
The button cutouts are OK. For the power button you will need to get right on top of the button and push down. With my TPU case I could hold my finger at an angle and it was a little easier. I'm sure I'll get used to the new angle.
For the volume rocker, the Seidio cutout provides a nice index for placing your finger so you know when your on the rocker. This makes it easy to adjust the volume when your phone is in a pocket. My TPU case was the same way.
The cutouts on the bottom and back are fine, no problems there.
The two piece case design (just like my incase Slider) works OK. Installation is a snap....literally. The phone slides in and the bottom snaps right on.
Removing the case...well, I don't recommend removing the case but when you do, follow these steps:
1. Sit down over a soft surface.
2. Press down on the BOTTOM part of the case, in the middle, right by the seam between the two case parts.
3. Pull the TOP part of the case away from the BOTTOM of the case.
4. Hide your astonishment when the SIM card cover on your phone stays inside the bottom part of the Seidio case and you are suddenly holding a Darth Vaderish looking HTC Inspire in your hand.
The bottom cover for my Inspire didn't want to come out of the bottom half of the Seidio, so I just reinstalled both at the same time.
The only things I don't like about the Seidio Innocase are:
1. The color is a LOT darker than the promotional photos. In the photos, the case almost looks red, but sitting here on my desk it's definitely a burgundy. A very dark burgundy. I like red. Oh, well.
2. The camera isn't protected nearly as well as I'd been led to believe. From the bottom of the phone up to the bottom of the camera, the back of the case protrudes past the camera, but from the top of the camera up to the top of the case the back of the case is recessed and the camera protudes just slightly past the case.
If your phone is laying flat on its back on a surface the camera is safe, but if the phone is tilted slight up, the camera "might" touch on whatever surface you are tilting against.
Protection for the camera was one of the big selling points for me and I'm a little peeved that the case is recessed above the camera, but I think it will be workable.
All in all I'm happy with this case. Having no case scares the heck out of me. My TPU case was OK, but didn't protect the camera at all and was a little slippery.
My Seidio Innocase II Surface Case is a keeper and will be protecting my phone until something better comes along (think BRIGHT red with more protection for the camera!) - Htc Inspire Case

Under Counter - cd player, junk
Click here for more information This product fits nicely under the cabinet...hardly noticeable. The radio has a quality sound. Don't expect to pick up AM stations out of the immediate area...one of my favorites is about 35 miles away but it has a lot of static. Too bad there is no way of extending the antenna. The directions say to rotate the radio till you get the best reception BUT that is impossible once you secured it to the cabinet. When the radio first arrived the cd player did not work. Amazon sent a new one quickly and had other one picked up. The CD on this one works fine. GE 75300 GE Slim Spacemaker CD player with Digital Clock and AM / FM Radio, Under-Counter Mounting system.
I had seen the other reviews but thought I'd get a working one. No such luck. The CD player was dead on arrival. Smooth return process throught Amazon's third party retailer. Its a shame as I thought it was a handsome unit, with radio sound and tuning superior to the previous kitchen under counter radio we had.
I compared prices on a under-the-counter mounting GE radio.Cheapest price was with Amazon.com because of they not charging for shipping. Now that it was ordered thru them, a shipping & handling charge was assessed @ $9.12. Product is delievered not functioning, has to be sent to the manufacture for warranty. Postage is $16.40. Could have bought locally @ Sears for less money & if it didn't work they would of replaced it at that store. Lesson learned!
Too bad Amazon won't allow 0 or negative stars. I read the bad reviews on these but decided to try it anyway because the fetching Mrs. wanted it bad. What a mistake! When the plastic mount for the laser pickup broke from snapping CDs onto the spindle, it jammed and burned out a motor. It is the cheeziest CD drive mechanism I have ever laid eyes on, and I've seen a lot of them in my line of work. Avoid this piece of junk at all costs!
Works great out of the box. Some reviews mentioned problems with the CD but mine worked fine but took some time to start on the first try. It mounted easly under the upper kitchen cabinet. No problem with signal strength happy to say since the unit it replaced had problems. The brightness of the digital clock is adjustiable and I use it as a night light in the kitchen. The remote control is powerful enough to control the unit from accross the room and adheres to the refrigerater (magnet) with my wife useing it to hang things. This is a Thomson Inc product (purchased the GE & RCA names several years ago) that makes TV's ect.
I am very happy with the product and recommend it.
I rate this "0". I bought the GE 75300 CD/Radio to replace an older model GE 74290A. The CD player crapped out on the older model. I have a GE kitchen and was some what happy with the older model. The GE 75300 is difficult to adjust the volume, the CD player skipped at the slightest disturbance in the room and I was totally not happy with its performance or sound quality. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THERE ARE BETTER PRODUCTS OUT. The only good point with the GE Spacemaker Under Cabinet Mount CD/Radio is the "light". I will mount the GE 75300 in the garage and use it as a night-light.
I replaced the GE75300 with a Sony FM/AM CD Kitchen Clock Radio IFC-CD523. The Sony sounds awesome (IT ROCKS), does not skip even with the volume all the way up, is easy to operate, can easily turn volume up and down, can turn Bass on and off (I could never find a way to turn the Bass off on the GE). The Sony has no light, but I can live without the extra light. I will NEVER buy another GE CD/Radio for the kitchen.
I installed the 75300 over a countertop microwave and under a cabinet. It was a little tight so I countersunk 1/4" holes for the 3 raised spacers to make some room. Even so, the CD door just grazes the top of the microwave when it opens. So far so good. I'm getting good FM and AM reception and get low volume but not static on the weather band. I put two AAA batteries in the remote but it doesn't work. A second set of AAA's did not resolve te problem. The front of the unit has printing saying "remote sensor". Should a light blink when a working remote sends a command? I intend to take the remote back to Target so see if another unit will work with it, or swap it for a working one. - Crappy - Junk - Cd Player - Under Cabinet Radio

Cell Phone - razr, cell phone
Click here for more information The Black RAZR V3 is the wireless phone I have always wanted. It's that simple.
Before having bought mine, I would read commentary from people who would cite all of the features the RAZR doesn't have: "I could buy the (insert model number of cheaper, but still expensive phone which does 100 different things--all of them poorly) and get more for a lot less money." When I would research a model recommended by these self-proclaimed gadget freaks, I'd find that it's dimensions make keeping it in a pocket an awkward and uncomfortable proposition; I'd find that the pictures it takes are not nearly of comparable quality to those taken by even a modest digital camera; I'd find that the lo-res video it can shoot serves no practical purpose; I'd find that web-browsing, game-playing, Instant messaging, streaming television content, all suck up battery-life and ultimately make the device useless for the unlikely purpose of placing and taking phone calls; I'd find that the phone casing is composed of cheap and flimsy plastics which make me wonder how long it wll last; I'd find that little attention had been paid to how the phone's design will contribute to, or detract from, user comfort. After my investigation, I concluded that for all the money I would save by buying "Phone X" over buying a RAZR, I would still have paid hundreds too much for a filmsy hunk of cutting-edge technojunk. (Don't take my word for it. Look around on the Net for comments about the RAZR around the time of its inroduction and see the recommendations from consumers that people choose the Motorola V600 instead. Then look at the consumer reviews of the V600 on this site.)
The RAZR has a camera, a web-browser, Instant messaging capability, and a whole array of other features all of which are listed in the product description. To the extent that the RAZR does these things adequately I will offer little, if any, comment--mainly because I don't care about them. That to which I can and will attest is that the RAZR exceeds my expectation on how it serves AS A PHONE.
Using my own criteria, a wireless phone should draw and hold a signal; It's earpiece should deliver clear sound at a volume which can compete with background noise; it's mouthpiece should pick up the users voice clearly; it should be compact enough to allow for placement in clothing pockets without creating prominent bulges; it should be solidly built out of durable materials which are not prone to scratching; it should have decent battery life. And yes, anything for which I pay hundreds of dollars should be designed with aesthetics in mind: there are far too many wireless phones which look like disposable children's toys, or like awkward, all-purpose, button-riddled gadgets.
Using the above criteria, the RAZR V3, particularly the Black model, is close to perfect. The sound from the ear piece could certainly be louder, but I have yet to have a caller's voice drowned out by the noise of busy New York City streets. The people to whom I'm speaking have reported to have heard my voice loudly and clearly. Battery life could be longer, but then, the same could be said about many wireless phones which are bulkier and have larger batteries. I have used the phone on both T-Mobile and Cingular networks and found that it draws a strong signal on both; it has never dropped a call. I found the speaker phone to be loud and clear despite my expectations to the contrary. Is the much-lamented Motorola phone book program clunky? Yes it is. But the RAZR's voice-dialing works well, making it possible to avoid scrolling through the phone book if one hates it that much.
I'll try to boil it down with a somewhat clumsy analogy: Complaining that the RAZR doesn't do enough in the way of tech-gimmicks to justify its price (which is considerably lower that it was when it was introduced) is like complaining that an exotic sports car isn't worth the money because it doesn't have a cup holder, a GPS system, and DVD player like the Minivan you've been looking to buy. That ridiculousness ignores the engineering that makes the sports car a superior performer on the road, and the attention put toward making it sleek and aesthetically pleasing. The RAZR's performance has made concern over signal strength a thing of the past. and its design is unmatched--not just for it's ultra-compactness, but for the solidity of it's build. That makes it worth what I paid for it. And my inability to speak to the quality of other phones on the market put them out of consideration.
Besides, as they say, black is beautiful.
That the RAZR cannot serve as a business-card scanner doesn't trouble me. For those who need to have whichever feature-laden mobile gadget is most desired at the moment, buy a Samsung MM-A800, clip it on you belt (you'll need to), and earn yourself the right to say your phone can do just about everything--poorly. Cell Phone Charger - power inverter, ac-dc converter
Click here for more information We needed an adapter for our portable DVD (kids broke the cord). None of the "universal" adapters fit our ports, so we began to look at this kind. Many are very low output and do not provide enough continuous output to run a device, only charge it. Very happy with this product. Great continuous output for our needs. Gets a little warm after 4 hours of use (but so does every other device, including the player). Have not tried using the USB port at the same time yet. Takes a little getting used to the bulk of it when plugging in, but green indicator light lets you know when you've got good contact.
Would recommend in a heartbeat! DBTech® 175 Watt Portable Micro Power Inverter With USB Port --- 12v AC to 110v DC Car Plug Converter For Your iPod, iPad, iPhone, Droid, DVD Players, Laptops, Netbooks, And cellphones
Be cautious to consider buying this product. The device is loud, in that it has a fan inside and this fan runs all the time.
The product gets hot within a few minutes and remains hot while in use.
So hot in fact that one may worry that it is overheating. In addition, the net battery recharge gain to a regular Dell laptop in terms of recharging a battery while driving is nominal.
One thirty minute drive/charge yielded less than thirty minutes of renewed battery.
Obivously, in an emergency or to convert a cars dc to ac for use while driving; this device works.
It is not a very successful converter. Sorry to have to be unsupportive, but hopefully the manufacturer will upgrade the product.
Replaces a much more cumbersome unit. At some point I may wish it had more power, but it will charge my computer or portable speakers while on travelling and camping, which was the main purpose for this purchase.
Bought this 3-21-11 and have used it once briefly to verify it works.
The first time I plugged the inverter into the cigarette lighter I already had my laptop charger plugged into the inverter and the other end of the charger plugged into the laptop before doing this. That blew the 20 amp fuse in my cigarette lighter. So after putting in another fuse I decided to plug just the inverter in first, then the laptop charger, then the laptop. That worked fine and I tried that several times and it worked fine each time (Dell D600 laptop and charger and laptop which probably draws no more than 90Watts on average)
Possible order matters as the laptop charger appears to have a big capacitor in it and possibly trying to charge that up and power the laptop plugged into the charger draws to much current all at once initially.
Also verified the inverter would drive a 60watt light bulb as well.
Will report back after our vacations this year as to how well it has worked over time.
Greg
Great product, works great to charge anything and everything on long car trips. The only knock I have against it is the connection between the devise and the car isn't snug enough so I had to rig up a holding wire so it won't fall out.
This is the smallest 175 watt inverter that I have been able to find. I use it on planes when I need to plug in my laptop or charge items with USB (which is everything theses days). I also keep one in my car for emergencies. Works great.
when i bought this product with the price that it had on it, I didn't think it was going to be worth my money. When i got it I put it right to the test with a cross country trip. I was in the car for over 100hr in a few weeks. I always had my laptop (MacBook Pro 13") Plugged in charging. After a little bit you could start to hear the fan that was in it. But if you have music on even at a low level you cant even hear it. Best product i have ever used for charging my laptop in the car.
I just got mine today from Amazon.com. Upon opening the sealed package, I noticed a rattle inside the inverter.
Turns out that there was a loose screw in the inside. Other than that, the 175w easily powers my Dremel_100 (145watt) for emergency lock cutting and on the road emergencies. Connected fine to my portable booster battery's
cigarette lighter. A portable dremel comes in handy for that once in a year situation.
The plastic looks really cheap. I won't rely on this quality for daily use. Given the cheap plastic, I just hope this thing is fire safe. Nevertheless, the price is right. - Car Charger - Car Adapter - Power Inverter - Ac-dc Converter

Wall Charger - htc, charger
Click here for more information I needed a replacement for the original charger (which i lost) that came with my phone. I couldnt find it on Sprint's website or HTC's website. Sprint wanted $25+ for 3rd party universal chargers. I found this charger and didnt hesitate. It came exactly as described and actually included the USB cable (though this may have been a mistake, they clearly say it doesnt). Its identical to the original charger, couldnt be happier. Travel Charger U250, Black, for HTC Thunderbolt
If you own an HTC Incredible phone (and I expect any similar model), your phone package when you first buy it will include a micro USB cable and an adapter as phone in the photo (HTC U250).
IF you're like me and you want a backup charging unit at work, you will need a (1) any generic micro USB cable and (2) this particular sort of OEM adapter.
As I've had to find out by trial and error (I'm not entirely sure why, probably has to do with voltage), it's highly recommended you grab this adapter.
I tried ordering a $1.00 off of Ebay previously and also as a 3-and-1 generic iPod charging set from Fry's. While both adapters would let me charge my phone, none of these would allow me to use the phone while it is plugged into the usb/charging adapter combination.
Looking at the generic adapter, it says input: 110-220V, output: 5V squiggly 700mA. Whereas the HTC adapter says input: 100-240V and output: 5V squiggly 1.0 A. Squiggly is a symbol with a solid dash and then a dotted dash below it that represents the direct current symbol, according to my guess + wikipedia.
*sighs* I need to study up on electronics as some point. But anyhow, this adapter works 100%! If you're in a hurry, you may be able to find a cheaper substitute.
First of all, when you receive this item, it will not look like it does in the picture. What I received was a generic charger for my myTouch 4g. It was rectangular in shape and did not have HTC written anywhere on the product. Second of all, it didn't charge my phone...at all. I mean it didn't even attempt to charge my phone, lol. Uhm, I would be very, very, very pissed right now, if it weren't for the seller giving me my money back, without the hassle of sending the item back. Nevertheless, I have to warn you not to buy this item. It doesn't work and you will not receive the item pictured. That is all - you have been warned.
I ordered three of these chargers. All three have be previously used. They are not in OEM packaging, and have scratches;nicks and swirl marks in the plastic. None of the chargers deliver an acceptable charging rate: from 112ma down to 22ma. The Factory charger that came with the phone delivers 374ma minimum. These chargers I believe are defective returns being sold as new.
Info/Intro
I wanted an additional USB charger for my HTC Incredible so I bought this one. It looks the same and the model# is the same as the original (TC U250) but the HTC part# is different (Orig= 79H00098-14M, replacement= 79H00095-0M). The electrical specs printed on the new one are the same as the original but the fonts are different and the layout of the info is a little different.
Good:
- Arrived quickly. Kudos to Amazon (as usual)
- Unit looks the same
- 1.0A (1000ma) output - makes for a speedy charge. Most USB charging units like this tend to put out between 500-700ma. Higher output = faster charge.
Bad:
- When charging my phone, the screen freezes and becomes completely unresponsive.
Since this is the fault of something electrical in the unit I cannot use this to charge my phone with confidence. I am concerned it may result is damage of some kind that may not be covered by my phone's warranty. Personally? I think this may be an instance of a pirated item that made it past an inspector along the way and is being sold as OEM. Either way, it is going back.
Although mine did look to be OEM, my phone's touch screen is slugish or unresponsive when pluged in to it. To be fair, it does charge. However, if it works at the expense of my phone's performance, I don't want it. I guess you get what you pay for.
Disappointed with this product and reseller. Is a USED charger with lots of scratches and swirl marks. Reseller should advertise it as such, instead, there is absolute no mention of this in the product info. Very deceptive practices and I will avoid them in the future.
I placed an order for two chargers. While they are the HTC chargers depicted, they are not new. There are tons of light swirl marks in the gloss coat, such as what a charger might look after it has been carried around in a messenger bag for a year so.
I have purchased four of these for myself and as gifts to my family and will be purchasing two more today. These adapters are compact and work for all our devices that came with a USB cord, including iPod Touch, MiFi router, EVO, Sansa MP3 players, etcetera. I carry one in my backpack because I never know when one of my devices needs to plug into an outlet.
When I received my charger in the mail, it was beat up, scratched, and evidently used by a previous owner. Mine also did not come in the original package, like the one shown in the picture on Amazon. In fact, mine just came in a generic plastic bag. DO NOT trust this seller because they evidently do not know what good business practice is. I am quite disappointed that I had to pay the money for this kind of junk. - Htc - Adapter - Charger - Evo

Articulating Wall Mount - lcd wall mount, tv wall mount
Click here for more information This mount is about the best I have seen yet. Looking locally, I couldn't find anything for less than $60 -$80 (even walmart). This came home for about $25. It mounts easily, comes with all hardware, it is black, just like the TV I mounted and the cables I strap to it to get them out of the way. The swing is very smooth, there is very little rock (side-to-side). The tilt (pitch) is very sturdy but adjustble. I don't have a single complaint about this unit. VideoSecu Articulating TV Wall Mount Bracket for VESA 100 LCD LED Flat Screen Monitor TV 1E9
Nice product, fairly well built, and attractive black powder coating. I mounted a 26" HDTV (22.8 lbs) on our bedroom wall. As others have mentioned, no rotation after installing makes it important that you measure carefully before drilling. Here's a couple tips that should help your install.
Before proceeding, I suggest that you tighten the arm hinges (using the supplied Allen wrench) to where you think they should be. They were fairly loose on the mount that I received. Reason being ... Their tightness changes the level of the TV bracket.
1st tip: First thing I noticed was that the top of the bracket that mounts on the TV was NOT parallel with the mount's arms when the mount was folded flat. Therefore, I mounted the vertical wall bracket (plate) so that the TV bracket was level; this meant that the wall bracket was NOT perfectly vertical, but just a "scosh" off vertical.
2nd tip: Even doing this, the TV was still not exactly level; close, but not "perfect". This time I took a round file to the screw holes on the TV bracket and elongated them to correct the rotation required to make the TV perfectly level. It didn't take much filing; less than 1/8".
That did it! TV hangs perfectly level now when flat against the wall, which is where it is used mostly. Swinging the TV out to "max" position from the wall, due to the slight "give" others have mentioned, the TV is a gnat's off from level, but this is low priority and tolerable.
One other point: If your TV/monitor is wider than 26", you won't be able to get it completely perpendicular to the wall, something to consider.
I purchased this mount to hang a 15" LCD TV, weighing less than 9 pounds (the specifications rate it up to 33 lbs). I carefully measured and used a level to mount the swing arm on the wall, but when I hung the TV, the position of the arms and the small amount of "give" between the arm segments caused the TV to hang at a slight, but noticable, angle. You can tighten the arm segment joints, which helps the problem somewhat, but you won't be able to swing the arm around once tightened. The swivel adjustments only allow you to change the side-to-side angle and the vertical tilt, there is no way to fix the rotation of the set.
This monitor arm is pretty cool, and great price point. I mounted a 26" LCD TV weighing like 32 LBS. Have not had a problem with it. I did need to make a trip to the hardware store for some longer screws than what was provided to connect to my TV.
I tend to be the engineer type, so looks don't win me over if a product is flawed below the surface. This mount looks good, if and when you catch a glimpse of it but most important to me, it is designed well. The joints lock and hold positions well because the design provides enough flat mating surface area. All of the major parts are solid cast, forged or machined.
Finally, after you have mounted a monitor or TV, this mount does not demand or call your attention back, it just does its job, `quietly', behind the scene.
I purchased this wall mount on the basis of other reviews. It was perfect for our need. Installation was very easy, the bracket was well made, moves easy (side to side, up and down). I put a 15" tv on it and I am well satisfied compared to other brackets that are 3 & 4 times the price. I give this bracket a 5 star rating.
I own 8 flat panel TV's, all of them wall mounted, for two (26"ers) of them I am using this particular bracket. I like the flexibility of these brackets, however, they are quite "wobbly" and that leaves me with great concern each time I adjust them. Only time will tell if they will hold up to the moderate usage they receive.
In one of the other reviews someone said something about the mount being lose or having some "give", I am thinking they may have recieved a bad mount and should send it back. I have a 23" LCD mounted with this bracket and its tight and holds the TV right where I set it. Now I can see where if you mounted it maybe a little off center where you could complain that they should have put a rotation(tilt) adjustment on it. But alas if you mount it level then you should have no problems. It was easy to mount and does what it should. A mount like this at a box store will cost you about $80, so you can't beat this price. The product is also very durable - Wall Mount - Tv Wall Mount - Monitor Wall Mount - Lcd Wall Mount
