Garmin Nuvi 1350t - garmin nuvi 1350t

Not much to say about this other than it works perfectly with my Garmin GPS. I lost the original in a rental car. This snapped onto the suction mount and fits my GPS without any problems. Very happy with my purchase. CC-GPS Bracket holster mounting cradle for Garmin nuvi 1200 1250 1260 1260t 1300 1350 1350t 1360 1370 1370t 1390 1390t

I bought this mount after losing the one that went to our Garmin GPS. I fits our GPA perfect and best of all I can not unmount it with out having to take the whole thing off the dashboard mount so I'll be less likely to lose this mount. I paid a couple of bucks extra for expedited shipping as we were going on a trip and needed the mount and it came sooner than they said it would. I would highly recommend this product as a replacement for your Garmin GPS or as a spare. - Garmin Nuvi 1350t

Photo Printers - photo paper, photo printer supplies

I recently purchased a new canon printer and knew I wanted to order some paper along with the purchace of the printer. I love matte finish and had always selected this for my film photos. I ordered this paper with some trepidation because of the one reviewer that thought this paper was such poor quality. There have been some who have said it is difficult to tell which side of the paper to use, and this is true. There is no "Canon" written across the back of this paper. If you do select the 'wrong' side of the paper and didn't realize it, anyone would be dissapointed and I do hope the one reviewer will return here and try the other side of her paper. To use the right side of the paper, hold two pieces of the paper up to each other. The right side to print on is the brighter white and has a very lightly textured surface. The wrong side of the paper is more yellowish and is very smooth. When printing on the right side of the paper the photos come out absolutely stunning. My printer came with samples of the photo paper pro (glossy) which is probably quite nice if you are a glossy paper person. It wasn't until I could see my photos printed on this 4 x 6 matte paper that I could really appreciate the quality of my printer. If you are a lover of Matte finish, you will love this paper. It lets the photo grab the attention rather than the shiny finish. Canon Photo Paper Matte, 4 x 6 Inches, 120 Sheets (7981A014)

I am extremely satisfied with my purchase! I've never really cared for glossy finish photos and was happy to find this matte finish photo paper in the 4x6 size. It makes printing my digital photos easy and fun! Especially easy with my Canon PIXMA MP750 All-In-One Printer!

I guess some people presume that photograph should look shiny and glossy all over. Non for everyone. I like matte finish. Also it's has much more longevity-if you touch it with your sweat fingers it won't smudge as gloosy prints. To anyone who hates matte appearence I will recomend to visit museum with picture gallery. Do you see lots of shine there? No. Glossy print may appear to be sharper-but it's only appearence. Do take your picture in good focus and you'll have exelent results no matter what paper matte or glossy. This paper is not waste of money-as a matter of fact, you save bunch of it buying this paper over glossy. Higly reccomend.

After much research and shopping around, I bought an i9900 last month. I have been extremely happy with the picture quality and the speed of the printer. I learned with my last printer the value of using original equipment manufacturer supplies - the picture quality is so much better on Canon paper/ink in the Canon printer. This was my first foray into the matte finish, and my only complaint is that I have a HARD time determining the print side of this paper. The printed pictures are outstanding nonetheless.

I was wary of this product after reading varied reviews, but many of the negative reviews appear to be based on mistaken expectations. In truth, everything I have printed on this photo paper is beautifully clear and vibrant, from photos to intricate graphics for paper miniatures. The results for graphics are especially stunning. This photo paper is not "just" cardstock, but rather cardstock with a special matte printing surface. Keep in mind that the glossy photo paper is also simply cardstock, but with a glossy printing surface. The matte and glossy photo papers are the same weight (45 lb) so I don't understand complaints about flimsiness. This is just the matte version of the Canon glossy 4x6 photo paper, which currently boasts a 5-star average rating.

Things to keep in mind about the matte photo paper:

- This is matte photo paper, NOT glossy. Do not expect glossy photos on this paper.

- This is cardstock with a matte finish. Remember that glossy photo paper is just cardstock with a glossy finish.

- The paper has a front side and a back side, with the printing surface whiter than the back side.

- Printers may print differently on glossy and matte photo paper, so be sure to choose "matte photo paper" from your print dialog.

This is a beautiful photo paper that yields beautiful photos and graphics.

I highly recommend this paper. I managed a high end pro photo lab for 10 years and now that I am a hobbyist and like to print at home this is my favorite paper to use. Just be sure to load it in the printer correctly. If you print on the wrong side it looks very bad.

I've used Canon Matte Photo paper for years in my Canon S900 printer. The pictures are stunning! One of the best features is that the pictures are easy to view because they are completely flat finish yet retain all the resolution your digital image can provide. Using Canon's Easy-Photo printing program with the Matte Paper presets makes printing a breeze. Water will still smudge the print but fingerprints do not show and my oldest prints retain their excellent colors. - Printer - Photo Paper - Photography - Photo Printer Supplies

Ipad 2 Accessories - ipad 2 cases, ipad 2 smart cover

Just got my GreatShield snap on case today. It snapped right on securely, and unlike some of the other cases where people mention having to "modify" the case to work with the Apple SmartCover, it seems to work perfectly so far. It adds no noticeable bulk or weight - which with the lighter, thinner iPad 2, was a major selling point.

My only concern (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that I believe the material will scratch fairly easily - it will certainly protect the iPad, which is my main concern, but I imagine in a short time the case itself will look bad and I will have to replace it with something else.

All in all, it is just what I wanted. GreatShield Smart Cover Buddy Snap On Slim-Fit Case for Apple iPad 2 - Transparent Smoke

I purchased this case despite the warnings about scratches by another reviewer. This case actually looks pretty good and fits my iPad really well. Unfortunately, before I even took it out of the box, you could see that there were scratches and marks all over the case. My first thought was, "is this used?!?". Oddly enough, there was a sticker on the packaging that said "NEW". Why you would need this type of label on a packaged material is beyond me, but I have my doubts as to whether or not this label was actually true.

The case is also slightly different from the picture, but in a good way. I was concerned that the top of the iPad (near the mic, earphone jack, and power button) would be exposed, but the case I got actually wraps around all of these features.

If not for the scratches, I would be very happy with the case. Even if these scratches are not from being a used item, I don't really think it's worth it to waste money on a case that will look terrible quickly after use. Unfortunately, this one's going back to Amazon...

There isn't much to say about this product -- it is a thin piece of clear plastic shaped to fit the back of the iPad 2. :)

It looks and works as advertised. Snapping it in place took about 2 seconds and the fit seems perfect. The Apple smart cover still functions properly, and it is wonderful to be able to toss my iPad around and not have to worry about the back getting dinged and scratched!

I'm giving it four stars because mine already seemed to have some scuffs and scratches on it when it came out of the box. But honestly, this thing is designed to take the scratches so that your iPad *doesn't*, so I'm not going to get too worked up about some minor damage that probably occurred during shipping, especially since the price is reasonable.

Iphone Leather Case - flip case, iphone case

I also purchased this case in an ATT&T store. Boy that was a mistake. It certainly cost more than it would on Amazon and I wasn't able to inspect it before purchasing it. But I wanted instant protection for my 3G 16GB.

I've been pleased with the protection it provides and it fits very snugly in the case. The buttons and charge port are readily accessible. The silence switch is the only button that is not covered when the case is closed which is as it should be. The microphone and speaker are exposed which is good.

The major problem I have with this case is the velcro closure. Velcro is noisy in a quiet room and the barbed (rough) side of the velcro on the flap has already begun to fray the stitching that surrounds the soft side of the velcro on the face side. I've only been using it for a few days.

The leather is thicker than needed. The case does not add significant girth widthwise. However in terms of depth the size is nearly doubled. (The 3G iPhone is 1.2 cm deep (0.48") without the case; when the phone is in the case the width is 2.3 cm (0.94"). Width is a concern because you must carry this in your pocket or purse--since, there is no belt loop or clip.

Also for this reason, it would be nice if there were a loop to attach a lariat or tether to a wrist strap. But there isn't one. One could be improvised but that would be unsightly and of questionable utility.

Also, there is a pocket in the flap that is so tight you can barely fit only 2 business cards or a single credit card or ID in it.

If you have large fingers, you will find it difficult to access the virtual buttons on the edges of the screen without a stylus. When swiping left and right, you will continually run your finger into the leather that perfectly surrounds the touch screen making it harder to use the phone.

For the price, it is aesthetically pleasing (looks nice) but functionally, it leaves much to be desired. Belkin Leather Flip Case for Apple iPhone 3G, 3GS

Here's the thing: The case is nice. It's essentially as good of quality as any comparably priced piece. What makes it perfect for me is that the inside flap has a little pocket for a credit card. Well, it starts out accepting one credit card, but after using it for a while the pocket stretches out. Now, I have my gym membership, drivers license, credit card, corporate card AND my health insurance card in there. PLUS, I can put $20 behind the phone. Who needs a wallet? I no longer own a separate wallet and always have all my stuff in this one package. It makes it a little bulky but I can easily carry it in the front pocket of my jeans -- no problem. It's still thinner than a PALM I had 3 years ago. Seriously, I'm happier about this than almost anything I own. Maybe other flip covers have this feature but I haven't seen one and can't tell that from the descriptions on Amazon. Simplify your life.

This cover provies an excellent grip to my new iphone 3GS 32Gb, and provides good protection, safety nd doesnt hamper any functionality. i can charge, listem music through audio port, and do anything without having to take the phone out of cover. And of course, the looks of the phone get hidden upto some extent, which is true for any cover. for my last iphone 2G 16GB, i was more concerned about looks, so i got only a cover which was protecting the back of the phone, but front screen was not protected against shocks(though i had put up screeen protector for scracthes), but when i dropped the phone accidently, i had to pay for the broken screen !

this cover provides full protection, and ease of use at same time !

I am buying my second one of these cases in a year. I beat the hell out of my phone and this case has protected it from drops, falls and geting beat up in my pocket. the first one i got with the phone and lasted longer than i expected. the only problem with the case is that its hard to reach the letters on the right and left side of the screen when texting. if you need a case that will give some protection for the phone and screen this is the right case for you.

I purchased a "Belkin Leather Flip Case" for my new "iPhone" and it is terrific. The case is doing a great job protecting the phone and, at the same time, it's an attractive, elegant case, so I have no qualms about having the case on my desk or on a table at business and professional events, meetings, etc. This is a great product.

I bought this case in October of last year and love it. I keep my phone in my purse most of the time, the ease of flipping open the flap when the phone rings is great, no fumbling around. I'm a little clumsy at times and have sadly dropped my phone several times, no worries, the case did a great job protecting even on a tile floor. It doesn't have the clip for a belt but that doesn't matter to me, I really don't want a clip. Also, it doesn't have the plastic cover over the screen like some holders that I find really unnecessary anyway and sometimes messes with the funtionality of the phone. Loved this case so much that I'm ordering another one for my friend. - Flip Case - Iphone Case - Iphone - Iphone Leather Case

Point And Shoot - canon digital camera, point and shoot

...is one you'll have with you. The nice thing about the Canon ELPH series is they easily fit into your pocket, are well built/designed, don't cost a lot, come with a boatload of features, and take great pictures. The SD1300, the latest in the ELPH line continues in that tradition, adding considerable additional sophistication and sacrificing some useful functionality in the interest of cutting cost.

It is a small camera and carries with it the baggage that comes with the convenience of having to carry so little baggage. (sorry, couldn't resist) None of the issues raised, given that they comes as part of the convenience trade-off made me consider anything other than the 5-star rating this camera deserves.

- Many of the functions are only accessible through menus, sometimes several levels deep. The good new is the Automatic and scene modes are pretty good (as long as you spend a few minutes reviewing what they really do). This camera is not intended to be used in aperture or shutter priority, let alone full manual.

- The battery life might be shorter than you expect. That's a trade-off for having a camera that's small and light; you get a battery that is small and light. One thing you can do is get a spare battery. That is good advice for any camera. Another thing that will help is to keep the display off as much as possible. That means using the monitor as little as possible. The "sad" part is that Canon chose to drop the optical viewfinder in this model. That means a camera that is simpler and less expensive to make but will go through batteries quicker because you must use the display when taking picture.

- The camera response is a bit slow for effectively capturing children and pets. The trick for doing that is to either have a great sense of timing and a shutter that reacts instantly or a reasonably fast ( > 4x / sec ) burst mode. This camera has neither.

Some other suggestions that apply:

- Use the lowest ISO available given your requirement for either aperture or shutter speed. To avoid getting technical, higher ISO always introduces higher noise. At issue is when it becomes noticeable. In newer dSLR cameras you can get over 1000, maybe well over depending on the camera, before the noise becomes noticeable. For this camera keeping it at or below 200 is a good idea.

- Don't use in-camera sharpening. Digital pictures will almost always benefit from sharpening but you are better off doing it with a photo editing program. Computer-based algorithms tend to be more sophisticated and you can better judge the results on your monitor as opposed to the camera LCD.

- If you want more vivid colors and have the choice use sRGB instead of Adobe RGB. While you get fewer colors they are distributed over a wider range. They are also render better on computer monitors, many commercial labs, and any other place your pictures are likely to show up.

Finally, I've found the Caselogic QPB-1 Compact Digital Camera Case (Black/Gray) is just the right size for this camera. It's semi-rigid so you get a fair amount of protection but doesn't add a lot of bulk. It's made even better by using one of these, Nite Ize SB1-2PK-01 Size-1 S-Biner, Black, 2-Pack, to secure it to a belt loop.

BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews can take the place of first-hand experiences that are lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there was anything you thought was lacking or unclear leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it. Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Silver)

I will try to share some things I have discovered about this camera, these are just my thoughts, I hope they might be of help .

Some things I am compairing to a canon SD1200 and the SD940, SD1400.

I do not use the viedo enough to judge that part of the cameras.

** No SD memory card included with this camera **, see below

* Some will miss the eye viewfinder that the SD1200 has.

* Some will miss the HD 720p in the movie mode that the SD940,SD1400 has, The SD1300 has 640x480 at 30fps like the canon SD1200, G11 and S90.

* The SD1300 has ( no optical zoom while recording video ) just digital zoom.

* There is a date feature on the SD1300, see below

* The flat button arangement is the same as the SD1200 all but the (( Power Button )) on top is larger and easier to turn on and off, I like that ( but be careful ) it does not come on in your pocket, purse or in your soft camera case.

* I have not had any trouble using any of the buttons even with my big old hands. The flat buttons on the SD1300 are a ( tad larger than on the SD940 and SD1400 ).

* The menu screens are large and very easy to read and use.*

* You get a 2.7inch very clear LCD screen that has a (very good and wide viewing angle in all directions).

Note > when your LCD screen is set to a lower brightness you can push and hold down the display button for 1 second and it will go to the brightest setting and do that again and it will go back to the lower setting...

A 28mm x 112mm lens, a little better than the 35 x 105 on the SD1200 ( But no view finder on the SD1300 ).

* The SD1300 is very easy to use and small enough to carry every place you go for those spontaneous grand kid pictures like the SD 1200 was .

Just a very good basic camera.

* I like that the mic for the video is in the front of the camera instead of being on the top (where I put my finger) like the canon SD970 and others, it picks up less finger movement noise being in the front.

** Timing and Performance** ( Using program mode )> Very fast start up time of just over 1 sec.

I can not tell any difference in shot to shot or flash shot to shot times between the SD1300 and the SD1200 using them in the program mode, which is ( 2secs with out the flash ), and 3 to 4secs with the flash on, (( up to 6secs for full flash recharge )).

(Update > Some of review sites(C-NET) are getting around 2.7 to 3 seconds for the SD1300 between shots with out the flash so I grabed the two cameras and tryed the two again(SD1300 SD1200) with and with out the flash on and I had the same results both ways, ((I used program mode)) both times and they would focus and recharge the flash evenly also...)

Shutter lag is good for a canon point and shoot but if you ( pre focus ) that will help even more. To pre focas > > Push shutter button down half way untill camera beeps and green square apears on LCD screen, picture should be clearly in focas at this point, if not let up on the shutter button and repeat the steps again. these steps will also help take a good clear (in focas) picture, just something for you to try if your having trouble getting your picture.

I never tested the continuous shooting( but see my battery test) but canon says it is 0.9 per sec where the sd 1200 is 1.4 shots per sec, if that is important to you. UPDATE > The 1200 does seem to be faster, quicker than the 1300 in continuous mode, how much I dont know but you can tell the difference...

* (Battery) I did test the battery (NB-6L same battery as SD1200) by using continuous shooting mode ( with the flash on ) and got well over 400 pictures and it was taking ( 1 picture every 2 seconds or less in the continuous mode( flash on ) if that helps you out on the continuous shooting part, and when I turned the flash off it seemed to do prety good coming from a newer small canon point and shoot world.

* (Battery life). In real life I get around 300 or more pictures with some of them using the flash, your still need a second battery for a backup.

* The battery has a little larger capacity at 1000mAh in the SD1300, were as the canon SD940 and the SD1400 is a smaller capacity at 760mAh if that matters to you.

** A nice backup battery is a (power2000) for canon NB-6L (1200mAh)$19.00. I have used them for years.

I really like the battery charger that comes with the camera, it is small and charges quickley, about one and a half hours the very first charge and then one hour or less there after...

Some set back the brightness of the LCD a couple of notches to save some battery. I think your new battery will do better after the first couple of charges.

* 10/30/2010 At the Columbus zoo we shot 350 pictures and a lot of them with flash on with one charge...

** Very good image quality keeping the iso at 200 and below.

I am getting about the same image quality as the SD 1200 which is very good for this small size point and shoot camera.

* As point and shoots get better we often try and compare them to digital SLRs ( speed, noise, ISOs, picture quality ) but because of the point and shoots very small sensors and craming all those mega pixels into them it is just asking to much of the little cameras....

Fewer pixels mean there's more room on the sensor and the individual pixels can be made larger to gather more light, making the camera better able to record low-noise images in low-light situations.

This is just me, but I like using the program mode and 100,200iso best and I try not to use the auto mode indoors ((auto works good outdoors in good light though, Lighting is everything. Indoors alot of times auto seems to want to use a (very high iso)(and sometimes no flash) to get low light photos, but this just results in more noise, which makes your pictures look noisy grainy or snowy looking on larger prints,(or the yellow tint that some are talking about).

* I use program mode and set the iso indoors to (( 100iso ))in good light conditions or ( 200 iso ) in poorer light indoors for the best image quality indoors with out all noise in the picture. Again auto does good outdoors in good light but keep your eye on the iso in auto indoors...

* Portrait mode does better indoors than auto in keeping the iso down. It uses 200iso and below. not bad...

*They also have taken away the supper fine quality option for the last couple of years , you just have fine and normal now, I miss the supper fine option...

The more I use this camera the more I find myself useing ( 100iso in program mode ) in good light conditions indoors or outdoors). Again indoors you might have to use 200 to get the picture you like...

** Just a side note, before judgeing the camera and your picture quality on your computer or camera screen get some pictures printed out, why I say this I thought the pictures that I took at the rest home were just ok, but I took them to the store and had 8 by 10s made and they look so so much better, you can see these pictures on this site under (view and share images on the SD1300s home page). I wish you could see the printed ones...

* A lot of the review sites blow there pictures way up and look for defects, your likely to only make 5x7 or 8x10s and not see (what they see).

If you are going to make larger prints or need a better (low light camera) and still stay in a point and shoot you could go with a canon S90, S95 or the bigger G11, G12, but (much more money I know)! Just keep the iso down at 200 and below and you will do fine...)

* The SD1300 seems to have a nice sharp lens even at the telephoto end of the zoom.

Highlights sometimes tend to blow out in very bright sun (direct light source) as with all small cameras(small sensor) this size, you can see this in some of the pictures I posted on this sight for the 1300. ( But to be fair my G11 does this also ).

I do not use I-Contrast in the program mode while shooting, some times in play back I will try it but I am not a big fan of it even then, it will brighten the picture up in dark areas but seems to increase the noise a little, again this is just me alot of people seem to like it and have good luck with it see what you think...

In auto mode you have no controll of I-Contrast and can not turn it off or on...

* I just realy like the colors in the pictures that the canon cameras produce, again thats just me thinking out loud.

Not much problem with red eye in pictures useing the SD1300 unless in a very dim lit room and there are some times when it can not modify or fix it in red-eye correction,

I have many small newer canon cameras and it is no worse or better with red eye than the rest of my newer cameras with red eye correction.

The SD1300 has a touch more style, larger LCD and a little more virsatle lens than the SD1200, but the 1200 is also a very good camera.

The SD1300 does have a weak battery door cover like the SD1200.

*No Memory card * You do not get a (SD Memory Card) with the camera, they just do not include a card anymore, just be aware so you won't be with out one.

A 4gb card ( class 4 or class 6 ) would be a good place to start (if your going to use the movie mode any at all ).

You could get by with a 2gb ( which is good for about 632 pictures ) if not using the video mode much.

A 4gig SD card would be good for 1,231 pictures.

* If your new to this digital camera stuff remember to low level format the SD card first thing.

( Save your pictures first, doing this will also erase all your pictures. )

* I have used the SD1300 for about 12 months now and is holding up very well.

* There is a date feature on the SD1300, it shows up on the right side at the bottom of the picture.

You can see it when reviewing the photo...

Push menu button and scroll down, it is the very last idem there, You have 3 choices,(off), (date), (date and time)...

When you go to take your picture your screen will have the word (DATE) on the screen above the iso reading, right side at bottom so you will know it is on...

* I carry my camera in a little phone case that has a belt clip not a loop for fast & easy on and off the belt.

* OK, your right I could lose it that way...

I definitely recommend picking up a small camera case for protection, watch out for cases using velco, the velco likes to grab ahold of you camera strap and not let go.

I also like theLowepro Apex 20 AW (Black) CASE it has room for spare battery, sd card cable, cleaning cloth). It has a little rain coat also. Good for hikers and backpackers.

The Lowepro Napoli 20 case is very nice but no room for spare battery on this one and could let dust in case, not fully inclosed.

** Casecrown ( SD1300IS 12 MP Digital Camera Carrying CaseCrown Black ) < I like these alot > Canon PowerShot SD1300IS 12 MP Digital Camera Carrying CaseCrown Compact Travel Case (Black)

Canon PowerShot SD1300IS 12 MP Digital Camera Carrying CaseCrown Compact Travel Case (Crimson) < < See my reviews on these if you have the time > >CaseCrown Protective Compact Travel Camera Case (Grey) for Canon PowerShot SD1300IS 12 MP Digital Camera

Be carefull of some of the canon cases, the metal magnet catch on the flap might or could scratch the cameras LCD screen takeing it out or puting it in the case (just my thoughts).. I am sure alot people like them and have good luck with them, this is just my opinion, The canon case I have (Canon PSC-55 Deluxe Leather Compact Case) has no room for a spare sd card or spare battery if that would help you any.

These are very nice and roomy cases, with alot of storage > Case Logic DCB-302 Compact Camera Case (Black)

Case Logic DCB-302 Compact Camera Case (Gray)

One more case to look at Case Logic QPB-201 EVA Molded Compact Camera Case (Black) Only one zipper on this one and xtra battery seems to slide out of case a tad to freely .

* In the menu mode I set the I S mode to continous.

The display overlay to grid lines(the grid lines help me take straighter pictures, you may use it for the 1/3 rule also).

I set review to 2seconds,

AF-assist beam to on,

Review info to off,

Lens retract to 0 seconds.

White ballance to auto, if this would be of any help to you.

I like using continuous shooting mode alot also.

I like to set the AF (auto focas) frame

to center (some times) instead of face AiAF and just shoot (focas) on what ever that I am shooting , this is found in the main menu setting, Again this is just me dont take this advice to the bank but check it out if you want or have the time...

I posted some pictures on this site ( see > View and share related images on main page ) for the SD1300, to give you some idea about how your pictures would look (color - sharpness - moving shots - iso noise in pictures - zooms - modes - cropped pictures), if that would help.

* Please look at everybodys pictures to see what you think before you buy the SD1300.

(( Please if mine pictures are not helpful vote them down and I will delete those, I need to delete a lot of them, please help me out here, Thanks...)

If you have any questions I will try to answer them the best I can, no camera is perfect...well not many.

My favorite SD point & shoot was a canon SD550, SD850, SD880, I thought the SD1100 and SD870 were very good looking cameras but never had a chance to use one of them, what was your fav canon SD...

I mostly take pictures of bear in the Smokey Mountians (CADES COVE) and love chaseing the grand kids around taking their pictures. ( And this year the Outter Banks NC ).

Update 2/3/2011 > The new replacement camera for the SD1300 is being called a Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS 12 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 4X Optical Zoom (Grey)

Comes in 5 colors (Blue, Silver, Grey, Pink and Orange)

Note one of many changes is that they did change the battery used to a NB-4L 760mAh from the NB-6L 1000mAh battery if that would be any of help.

Many other interesting changes also, some are good and some not so good , Alot of bells and whistles on this one, check it out... - Canon Digital Camera - Point And Shoot - Digital Camera - Compact

Scratch Remover - cd and dvd polisher, video games

This is a very easy to use product and works betteer and faster than the Memorex dual claener/polisher system I had a few years back. No need to get an automatic cleaner device - this works very well by hand. My only reccomendation is to buy TWO of these instead of just one. This is a true life saver for CD's, DVDS, scratched screens on kid's toys, etc. Audiovox Surface SURF404 DVD/CD/Game Disc Scratch Repair Kit

Product does repair minor scratches. However, deep circumferential scratches (the kind which cause skipping and freezing) were only slightly improved. Even after five or more applications and LOTS of elbow grease, these scratches were not repaired sufficiently to eliminate disk read errors. To repair major scratches, your best choice is definitely the SkipDr Premier.

I used this on 3 of my CDs and 2/3 worked just fine in the stereo in my house but they stilled skipped in my car. The car CD player must be a little more sensitive but I used the product on the CDs a couple more times with no luck. It is good fr small scratches and blemishes but not more extensive problems.

The kit includes a fluid and a microfiber cloth. The fluid is supposed to fill scratches and harden. Well, in my trials on several different CDs, the scratches remained, even with repeated application of the fluid. The "repair" kit boils down to a very nice but overpriced microfiber cloth, which I do use to clean CDs...

I purchased this product to help fix several of my kids' Wii games - four different games had various degree of scratches. One of the games had very "heavy" scratches; obviously deep scratches that ran across the game disc as well as several that ran with the disc tracks. The product did not help this game at all. One of the games had very light scratches; what I call "feather" scratches. Multiple applications of the product did not remove the scratch from the surface, which is what I expected, but I was keeping my fingers crossed that the product would somehow bond and fill-in the surface of the scratch. No such luck.

This product may work fin on other media, but it did not help with Wii games.

I had an Xbox game that got scratched along the whole outer edge because I moved the Xbox while the machine was still spinning (idiot!). That's the worst kind of scratch, I think, but at least it wasn't deep. I used the solution and polished for many minutes. Didn't work. Continued several more minutes. Didn't work, but the scratches were visibly less severe. Finally, figuring I had nothing to lose, I pulled out my Dremel small drill with a felt polishing wheel and went at it with the solution on the disc (I wouldn't recommend this technique generally unless you have nothing to lose). It worked! I can't say for sure it was the solution that did the trick, or could I have just gone straight to the polishing drill? But in the end I got the result I wanted, so I feel compelled to give a positive rating.

I was disappointed with this product. I followed the instructions to the tee and it took me about 6 tries before the wii game started to work. I tried with my other wii game, but there was no hope. I was scrubbing and applying the solution repeatedly for about an hour and the game just didn't work. So, I was disappointed...

I've used this product with a half dozen DVDs that didn't work because of small scratches, and it saved them, totally repaired the imperfections so they're working again like new.

I would recommend it without hesitation.

Rechargeable Camera Battery - rechargeable camera battery, kodak

Perfect battery for the Kodak 712Zis. Recharges quickly on the docking station and holds a charge. During a birthday party I took 3 long videos, over 50 pictures, reviewed all in the camera and through the TV and still had battery power. Kodak Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery/KLIC 8000

I own a Kodak Z812IS and after going thru a couple of "other brand" rechargeables with no life and no power, I bought the more expensive Kodak battery and I couldn't be happier. It recharges quickly, and has twice the life of the others. Don't waste your money on the cheaper knock-offs. Shipping from the supplier was quicker than expected - great job!

Great product, just as expected. This battery can take quite a bit of photos on a single charge. I got 150+ pictures (@ 7.1 megapixels) with two three minutes video clips before the battery needed a charge. I was pretty impressed with that number.

We purchased this battery for a Kodak Z812. We tried rechargeable double A's but they lasted about 5 pictures and then ran out of power. We have owned this battery since January and taken a couple hundred pictures as well as several lengthy videos and it is still well charged as of the end of February. The battery power does not seem to leech out over time like the AA's we used. Much more cost effective than disposable and much better than other rechargeables we tried. It needed to be charged when we took it out of the package but the process was incredibly fast - about 4 hours - and we haven't had to charge it yet.

* As of December 2010 (2 years after purchase) this battery is still working perfectly. The battery life lasts for hundreds of pictures (even at a hight compression rate) and the charge only takes about 3 hours. Can't imagine living without it.

When we bought the new camera we didn't really think much about the battery. After getting the camera and realizing it took a specific type of battery I went shopping for an extra battery or two. I was shocked by the price so I ordered two of the cheapest batteries I could find. Big mistake. Both of the cheap batteries would charge normally but would only last a very short time in the camera. The original battery will last through hundreds of pics but neither of the new ones would last even 50 before the camera would stop working. In fact the original Kodak battery in the camera lasts longer than both of the cheapo batteries put together. So I finally broke down and bought a second Kodak battery and it works great. I have discovered that all batteries are not created equal and even though this battery costs about $7 more than some other brands, it works much longer. Save the frustration and buy a genuine Kodak KLIC-8000. It will outlast two or three of the cheap ones.

I have a Kodak Z712IS Camera and G600 Dock, The only Rechargeable Battery I would use was a Kodak KLIC-8000. I looked at the other replacements that were cheaper, I looked at the usual retailers, I found this was the best deal. I have recharged it several times in the dock, it lasted 3 days, about 240 pictures on the last charge. Thanks Folks!

Horrible: The batterys do NOT hold a charge. After @ 2 weeks in the camera, they lost all the charge. The same type batterys that came with my camera hold their charge for many months. - Recommended - Rechargeable Camera Battery - Kodak - Camera Accessories
