Sony BRAVIA XBR-55HX929 More Than I Expected

Sony 55 inch is hard to always be surprised, after having spent nearly $3,000 on a TV, but TV is still just as impressed with me as the first time it is switched on. I was going to buy a new 3D in December 2010, almost a smudge UN46C7000 Samsung for the price of the day, before Chirstmas sweet ... Fortunately, I waited. I did the research as much as I did through the forums and electronic stores, but it is impossible to have a true sense of the ability of a TV without running their own content, so I really took a chance at the forefront of Sony to offer more competition sufficient to justify the price tag.

My first experience with this television, after the general meeting of the startup parameters, of course, threw on the legend of the Guardians 3D Blu-ray. It is not only the best 3D experience I've had so far, but the cinema experience easier than I ever had. Although the film has its flaws, the level of detail and fluidity of movement stunning 3D! And the film that show to show my friends what my 3D TV and you're really capable. I saw the first generation of Samsung 3D TV to the parent at home and I noticed a fair amount of ghosting, something I have not seen the current generation is the assembly, but is virtually nonexistent on Hx929. Bloom is a problem many have had with Sony LED for a while, but I have not personally experienced the same thing when I look at the corners. Another concern is that been put to rest was the response time of the game.

Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 3 and Crisis 3 seemed to be absolutely beautiful, and no noticeable delay or blur on the "Game Mode". I spent a few hours with the display settings fidling with other owners and CNET have posted, but found that I like the default "Standard" and "Vivid" more. As far as image quality is pure, is leaps and bounds better than my Samsung plasma, and provides greater clarity and deeper blacks than the rest of the series LEDs in 2011.

I did not use an Internet browser or a "widget", but my PS3 can perform most if not all, the TV can offer easier to navigate the XMB. I can not vouch for the TV audio is integrated, but I think it is disappointing as the loudspeakers of the TV shows these days. Anyone investing a lot of money in their home theater should take a slash at least decent. I have Pioneer VSX-1020-K Receiver with Sony front, side and rear (This is an incredible value!), And the whole package makes me miss my room when I'm in the movies.

Sony BRAVIA XBR55HX929 Reviews

I waited four months make sure for TV. I was not going to lose something in my search for a new TV. I'm glad I waited. I must say that the appearance of features in 3D were insignificant to me and my wife. I just wanted the best picture I found in 2D, and now do not even have 3D glasses.

I looked at all those models and was one of Samsung and LG8000, Sony W6500, and perhaps, if measured up. A lot of things to like about all three models and I looked at the LG and Samsung 20 times. Head of Samsung has an exceptional setting. Even with corners slightly saturated colors of black fell much better and LG held together with the 3D passive at the best price I was pretty sure that's what they are buying, but chose to wait for Sony is the only way that I do not surprisingly, much later.

I Observed side by side, all three of them, there was simply not comaprison and my wife who is very unselfish commented how much better the image was of all (all games at the store were put on bright colors, no other changes ). Even with steep viewing angle, Sony has lost much less than the Samsung and LG as well. The set makes a huge difference of 30 fts, and Sony jumped into clarity, depth, practically without vibration (shudder, blur) or whatever you call it.

The picture is phenomenal. And as clean and beautiful as a television can be. Gorilla glass is the beautiful version, you can simply use a glass cleaner, beautiful and pleasant even during the opening of a CD case, two fell from this hand and hit the front. Probably would not have done something wrong.

CONS: Because I gave 4 stars and not five. The directions stink, and I knew that in general the stuff aside and online is very slow (but that's because I have a Mac). The stand is well designed and adequately strong, but they have a potential defect, and reduced slightly to my right, but apparently Sony is sending someone to see that it's nice that they do not think they have a lot there.

Finally, it is expensive and it was difficult to justify nearly a thousand more than the LG, but for me, the Sony provided the difference. For others maybe not. Overall, I'm glad I waited. If you compare them side by side, close your eyes and sign the check is probably worth it!

Sony Bloggie 3D you must with 3D TV

I was skeptical about this little camera that is designed to convert digital video in 3D, especially because I could not imagine that translate well with my TV 55" Samsung 3D. First of all, I was not sure of the compatibility between Sony Bloggie and Samsung Technology. Secondly, the poor video quality always seems worse when enlarged to 55". And finally, I read some reviews that said the LCD screen to look back video, as old-style figures that came back to take "action", and would not 3D fake cheese.

But I tell you now: do not care simulated 3D pixels on the screen, once you see on your TV. The Sony Bloggie 3D is not perfect and has its drawbacks, but I enjoyed it so much with a camera since I got my first camera back generation. Even if you can work in 2D, I see no reason why, if your main goal, because there are fewer options. It is better to close with Kodak PLAYSPORT Pocket HD Video (Black) or Flip Video Camera UltraHD.

The Bloggie comes with a short USB extension cable and a belt. If you want to see what 3D on your TV, you will also have a mini-HDMI to HDMI. I bought AmazonBasics High Speed HDMI Mini-HDMI cable with Ethernet (6.5 feet / 2 meters), but any brand is fine, up to a final mini-HDMI (for the camera) and HDMI for the TV with high speed. (The old HDMI cables can not support the need for a more 3D.) The camera does not come with a case or bag, so you might have something to protect the lens. The Bloggie has a removable battery and must be loaded via the USB port.

The camera has two lenses side by side, to stereoscopic video. The body is much thinner than the Flip UltraHD and this is a feat. The record button is the right amount of sensitivity. The 4x zoom can be used only in 2D mode, even if the zoom is more powerful than the Flip UltraHD, the results are more coarse. The menu on the screen takes a little getting used to, even if the use becomes easier. Moving from 2D and 3D, you must press a button, and we are grateful.

Without glasses-LCD screen, as it shows how the video will be on your 3D TV, provides an idea sure what you have. The tripod mounting hole is on the short side of the camera, requiring a vertical positioning of the camera, unfortunately, you can take pictures only with 3D landscape. The camera is smart enough to know the direction, so it feels, if it is not possible to obtain 3D images in this way and adjusts the on-screen menus so you can.

The software provided with the decreased bone Bloggie. Also cut the ends of a video is not intuitive. And weeks after receipt of Bloggie, I'm still trying to install a firmware upgrade on my iMac. You can not view or edit the video in 3D using a standard video editing, because the camera takes two separate images that are combined into a file with the suffix. Although you can convert any video format MP4 3D to 2D, which can then be changed. Fortunately, the software allows you to move Bloggie 3D video from your computer that stores in Bloggie library, once the camera for playback on 3D TV.

If you do not have the necessary software and DVD burner, you can record videos in 3D on a DVD for later playback. Everything must be done through the blog, which makes the mini-HDMI cable crucial to the usability of 3D video home. It easy to share videos taken in 2D with Facebook, YouTube, and looking for special icons at the top of the software. I do not understand why the software does not allow me to combine clips into one movie that I can then read my blog. For me it is a major omission.

The Sony Bloggie 3D Camera, Slick and Comfortable

Cisco when he closed the door on its Flip product back to the beginning of this year, fans of the little camera of mourning. But a small video of dedicated device is not always easy with Sony Electronics - Bloggie. There are four varieties of Bloggie, which captures high quality video and allows you to easily share photos and video.

The device comes in basic, Duo, Touch and 3D, which range from $129.99 to $249.99, respectively. I tested the Duo Bloggie, which on the shelves in late March. It has a front camera, to capture without guesstimating awkwardly. But with increased competition from smartphones, I was curious to see if the Duo is worth forking over $169.99.

The video quality is impressive. You can choose between full HD (1080 30p), HD Sport (720 60p) or HD (720 30p). Sony's goal is also integrated, which helps when shooting up close, as in the case on a sheet of paper. This was important for me, especially after the frustration of the quality of confused with flip-up close, also known as a fixed point. However, the autofocus works closer to four inches. Attention has been strong and intact, I honestly do not think it was possible with a small device.

The Bloggie was invented only for what you'd expect. This is where the front camera support. Andy Bubalo, Director of Business camcorder Sony Electronics, said he had received comments from many bloggie who say it is "critical" to catch them in the frame. For example, wanted to record the guidance of his sports car. He was able to mount the suction cup Bloggie. In this way, you might able to get what he needed in the frame, as it does the gearbox and the front windshield. I have not done a blog intense, but is useful when photographing friends and family, kitchen or getting some shots on the nature.

If you use Bloggie software, sharing is easy. Using the USB connector, just drag the video to say, Facebook or YouTube. But if you want to do a job edit the video, a few more steps involved. You still need to transfer video to your computer and use a video editing program, iMovie, because the software only allows Bloggie define the start and end points.

The Bloggie also a LED light that illuminates the video in dark places. I captured the video of my dog in the night with both the blog and turn on the way back. The streets were dark, but lit with my bloggie. I was in the dark with the flip.

The camera also features a "dual record" feature that lets you take photos while shooting video. Equally important is the special unit has been the ability to route and battery life. The Bloggie Duo has 4 gigabytes, enough capacity for up to two hours of video. My videos are not in a duel with applications, e-mail and photos on my smartphone.

Sony Bloggie is worth it? Yes, but only if you need a certain level of quality. Before addressing the Bloggie camera can be critical, high-quality shots and the ability to quickly transform almost have been pleasantly surprised. LEDs also allows the option of video night. But if you really want something more professional, then the Bloggie has some limitations. And if you're a beginner you will have fun, stick to your smartphone.

Sony Bloggie MHS-FS3 3D Reviews

First 3D camera Sony has made a good impression, but leaves room for improvement. The 3D models requires a Bloggie 1080p video quality in 2D and 3D models that can be uploaded to YouTube and Facebook, with a few clicks. This camera takes 3D on Youtube. Footage recorded in the 3D mode will be automatically displayed in 3D on YouTube and seen through the colored glasses.

The quality is better in 3D, then I thought it would be a really decent and the HDMI connection is fast enough to watch TV on 3D. There is almost no level of ghosts that I would have expected. I thought that I would not have this level of 3D. I had a launch and two KODAK this type class in the past and this was the best quality of all. In addition, most compact cameras is the lack of any kind of light/flash is nice to have some help in low light situations with the built in LEDs. The menus are simple to navigate and I would like to have a separate dedicated buttons for photo or video. I like the slide out USB dongle included. The same drive seems to have a good set of quality.

The 3D stereo effect is good, but not as strong or as versatile as the camera Fuji W3. 3D Sony can pull closer than the Fuji, and seems suitable for large 3D and video blogs.

Summary: 3D Bloggie is a good choice for anyone with access to a 3D monitor or 3D TV. It can play videos directly on a 3D TV via mini HDMI port, video looks good on a 3D TV. Photos and videos can also be viewed in 3D on your PC using a program called stereoscopic player.

    Sony BRAVIA KDL55HX820 Reviews

I spent a long time to read reviews before making a purchase and I am very glad I took a chance on this relatively new Sony. It seems to have all the features of more expensive XBR series, but uses local dimming LED lighting device, rather than the backlight. This makes it thinner, which was for me more important than quality of the images for my application. I also have a uniform thickness and is mounted on wall very close to my house.

This is a subjective matter. However, I heard that Sony TV has a much better finish of the Samsung D8000. The Sony looks like a perfect setting for the image and feel with glossy black finish. With Sony, you can also turn on the TV at a certain angle (the angle is fixed), similar to a tilt screen of the laptop to work.

Update the firmware as soon as you arrive at the latest features such as streaming video and multimedia, the iPhone remote control (available via the App Store) is working properly. Qriocity did not work due to the recent failure of security, but should return soon. Pandora and Netflix streaming works very well. The sensor is better when set to non-motion detection, if not bad for face recognition when there is strong back-lighting.

DLNA streaming leaves much to be desired, as it does not support MKV, XVID, or other popular video formats. It also took a long time to start playing a normal MPEG file that I sent my laptop with Windows 7. Simply connect to my DLNA WDTV transmitting live from my laptop, which has resolved everything worked much better. The images and the music seems to work well anyway. When connected to a PC, Windows 7 Media Center via HDMI or DVI, the screen looked better than my computer screen. It was so clear-cut that can be easily used in place of a projector for presentations and Starcraft II looked amazing.

3D, I felt looked better with a WOW factor (as in the film) of Sony as compared Samsung. Things seemed to fly off the screen, instead of Samsung. But I had a very interesting observation. While watching movies, I felt that I look at a Samsung home video (shot Handycam video on the staff). With the Sony I felt I was watching a real movie. To feel the same when you watch a Samsung?

Summary: This is a nice and slim 3D TV. It has a beautiful crystal clear images. Excellent photos and digital images in high definition. Features such as the Internet YouTube, Netflix, eBay and more. I recommend this TV. Before, I had a 42 HDTV and now I have updated 55 3D HDTV and I love it. 3D is incredible, I put 2D,3D depth and 3D is really like in the movies, the image really alive.

      Sony TDG-BR250/B Reviews

If you like 3D which is necessary. I was looking 3D glasses for everything, and it is probably good for me. The glasses fit perfectly, but you may feel a slight headache after seeing the constant, however, I read that this is the most common problem with all the active glasses. It loads quickly via a USB port that you are free to change the batteries. One last thing, since many vendors sell these glasses now.

Well built, good battery life, superb 3D, but could have been designed a little better. For example, I put a little nose down to align with the television. It a bit uncomfortable and tends to slip. In addition, the price is high crazy. You should be able to prepare a family of four for under $100 you have already paid more for the TV and the player.

It the 2011 model as well. They are lighter than the 2010 model and has a built in rechargeable battery. It comes with a soft case enclosure and connect the cable to the USB port on the side of the TV to recharge the batteries. The recharge time is excellent ... fast for two or three minutes will take three hours and 45 minutes of vision ... the battery is fully charged up to 30 hours of viewing. My friend told me that they are so light you can barely hear over the head .

Summary: Beautiful and nice 3D glasses. To stay comfortable and to maintain fixation. Also be easily integrated into a pair of glasses. Battery life seems pretty good as well.

        Sony BRAVIA KDL32EX720 Reviews

        Sony KDL-32EX720 USB

I was looking for a 32-inch TV for fit my cabinet. Most TVs of this size are very view and I was looking for high technological content. This model of Sony fine. The design of the TV is really nice to work with a glossy black bezel, without the band Sony sells gray at the bottom of the lower 32s. The screen is rather a dull appearance and is ideal for removing glare from nearby windows.

I have a bad kind of Internet service providers, but apparently not to TV. The TV was connected to my home network quickly and easily. It was a software update and it does fast. There are a number of websites that you emerge from the menu, including Netfix, Hulu, YouTube, Dailymotion, Amazon, Flash animations, Qriosity (Sony-library), etc. Qriosity has hundreds of movies in 3D. They are not free price range between $3 - $6 depending on whether you use standard definition or high definition or 3D.

This TV has a huge image and ratings. The color was good, almost without pretext, always good contrast, saturation and flesh. As another mentioned, the image on the dark side has been received. It was just by turning off the auto-dimming resolved. It would be nice if the auto-dimming can be set because it is really the backlight.

The remote has no keyboard so a lot of scrolling around for is required for doing searches on You Tube, kind of a pain. I have not tried the 3D feature yet so cannot comment on this. The picture is beautiful out of the box and required very little adjustment by me to make it perfect. The speakers, like most LED TVs are really bad and a sound bar or external speakers are a must. The TV satisfied most of the requirements I had and at a price that was quite reasonable.

I try to run a game for Playstation 2 on this TV, such as Guitar Hero, the PlayStation controller button pushes are not synchronized with the screen to control function, making it unplayable. I tried the manual on board and I found no reference to synchronize the game controller for the on-screen action. Pressing the TV button "scene" on the controller gives the "game", but apparently this does not set the screen colors, etc and do not synchronize with the Playstation controller. this combination can not work with a Playstation?

Summary: I love this TV for its high image quality and overall performance. It works well in TV mode and a HDMI input, which is what I use 99% of the time. It syncs easily with my non-Sony audio receiver and Blu Ray player.

          Sony BRAVIA KDL46HX800 Reviews

First, the installation was easy, with menus and easy to follow. It took less than 5 minutes, including Internet connectivity. If you have a Netflix account, the installation is super easy. Follow the instructions on the screen shot, their own set of Netflix and within seconds you ready for streaming. Qeue will begin their fast on the screen and flows. Impressive list of other video sites on the Internet. Not to mention the streaming music and images from popular photo sharing sites. We must say that the wired router is connected to one in our living room so we can not take on the wireless configuration to reposition.

We went in search of a 2D TV, thinks a 3D TV is out of range. Fortunately, through the sale to start, and I planned for only a few hundred more than what we had for a 2D TV. This TV is good in 2D and 3D, so we thought it was almost free, and why we do not like it, nothing lost.

The television is very attractive, elegant and modern. This is not the new look "monolithic" at the upper end of Sony, but it has a small cover and does not seem to overcome, if this kind of thng is a problem for you. It comes with a decent support, and all the connections you need. Some of these ports are located on the back, so be aware if you plan to mount it on the wall.

In 2D, the TV is really impressive. SD images are very good, but the HD picture is pretty spectacular. Bright, fresh colors are beautiful! If you videophiles might mess with the settings. I recommended some calibration parameters videophiles, and it looks good.

We find very compelling 3D. Unlike some other brands I tried, I did not recognize the interference images or ghosts. I can not wait to see the development of perverted satisfaction with this type of TV to the back of the head. The HX800 has a mode conversion from 2D to 3D that works better than I expected, but I'll be honest and say that it is mostly a gimmick to play with more original content in 3D. The glasses work well to block ambient light, even if I make a little room, like me, with big heads.

You do not buy 3D glasses and a transmitter, I feel like Sony has integrated them. That's my only complaint. I tried to see the 3D features in the store at a football game ESPN. While the 3D was fun and much better than I remember, now with so little content there, I thought wait.

The sound is acceptable for the TV speakers, but the some people use this TV with an external audio system, so no big problem. These speakers are definitely OK for a short-term use, or in a small room where a home theater set-up is not practical. I ended up with Sony CT150 Sound Bar system and are very happy with this.

            Brand : Sony Model : KDL60NX720

            Overall Rating :

            Technical
            • Brilliant Full HD (1080p) picture quality for 2D/3D

            • 60-inch display with full HD (1080p) 2D/3D picture (1920 x 1080 native panel resolution)

            • Dynamic Edge LED backlight with local dimming for incredible contrast, slim design, and energy efficiency

            • Experience smooth and precise motion detail during fast-action video with Motionflow XR 240 technology

            • Wireless BRAVIA Internet TV and Widgets for a wide variety of streaming media and other Internet content

            • Sleek "monolithic" OptiContrast panel with Corning Gorilla Glass

            Sony BRAVIA KDL 60NX720 Reviews

Especially with KDL60NX720 3D TV screens from Sony are not reflective. Although Sony TVs are the best, but compared to Samsung, Sony lacked a bit of sharpness and black levels in the images. Now Sony has overcome that shadow OptiContrast panel clarity of the images like Samsung black levels. The images processing is amazing, with bright images and great black levels. Black is really black not blue like the old model.

            Sony OptiContrast Panel

We have linked regular DVD and Blu-ray to TV and set HD from this image 1080/24P (Blu-ray) vs. 1080/60P (DVD). We test with the launch, the Dark night and Shrek. DVD picture quality with almost the same picture quality Blu-ray. Black levels, texture and freshness of stunning images have been achieved by the OptiContrast panel and the engine X-Reality this awesome 3D TV, but DVD movies are some different.

When we are connected to the DVD player TV in SD normal mode, the TV automatically updated images to HD. We said some doubts on the SD content at first, but the TV came with better SD image processing than earlier versions of Sony TVs.  We do compared to other TV Samsung LED 46D8000, we see that Sony has improved the board image processing. Updates to SD TV content in HD content. It's the best part of this TV. Sony and Samsung have kept some benchmarks (standards) for TV. Sony did not dare to 2010, the reflective screen, the Samsung has surpassed Sony matte finish. With this model, NX720, HX820 and HX929 Sony in reflective screens and reached incredible levels in black and bright images.

Another advantage of this TV is Corning Gorilla glass. At first, when we hit NX720 shield hard with my hand first, the image with flowers, and returned to normal. When we knocked lightly on the Samsung screen with the middle finger, the image seemed wildly and shook a lot, which could break easily. Sony marked notes in the Corning Gorilla Glass TVs. We have ads on the strength of Sony and Corning Gorilla Glass saw, but still be seen in the long run, even if the glass is stronger than the TV. Someone really needs to try to break the TV and see how this screen are.

We tested the sound quality is good. One great thing about Sony offers a 5.1 channel audio output. We have Comcast HD DVR cable connection. HD movies come with 5.1-channel audio, and television offers an exact replica. I tested with/without connecting home theater. Also, the sound is very good without speakers. Another place where the values marked on the opponents of Sony, which provides a 5.1 channel output with an optical audio output. Other TVs only offer two channels of audio via the optical audio output.

The conversion of 2D-3D image is very good. Yet test the functionality Blu-ray, but so far is converting at its best. The original movies in 3D are the best to watch. It seems that Sony angle to the off-vision problems. The 3D effect in the off-angle is better than the TV line-up today. But if you sit in the far corners as the corners and the 3D view seemed a little uncomfortable. 3D TV for all off-angles is a problem.

For the functionality of the Internet. The Internet content is good, but there are fewer applications for Sony as Samsung. Netflix and YouTube video are very good to watch. We do not get the remote control as a QWERTY Samsung, but you can with multimedia applications on the computers of other great iPhone and Android phones.

Do not forget update firmware for this model from Sony support or you can be of the same on TV after connecting the TV to the Internet via Wi-Fi will be updated auto. We do not have test Skype features. It is nice to have, but we still like to use Skype on computer or laptop. In the future, we think the Web Camera is should come with TV space.

Summary: Sony has pretty much done it again. The picture quality is very good. With all the features and built in Internet access, you should be hard to beat at this price.

First, the Sony box is huge. The two guys who come into the living room and began to surround their approval process to remove four plastic clips, and slide the top of the box in front of its basic package in a Sony 55-inch blocks of Styrofoam to exhibit. I plugged in, connected the antenna cable satellite and it worked like a charm. I keep the box a little, Oh Yeah! Lets sit down and see if that dog will continue for the next month or operate.

For some buyers ... here's the interesting part. My current setup includes an antenna out of the air (OTA) in order for me to have all local channels. The Sony uses a coaxial RF-IN satellite, cable and off-air-IN IN. Apparently, the project has some Sony Guy KDX55EX720 diabolical plan to establish the input signal and the incoming live signal. And .. here, where the 4-star comes into play. The user and was stored in the memory of the called TV iManual Hemingway wrote. So far in the first configuration process can be prepared a unique feature called - Bramble info screen.

The setup guide said, "If you are receiving channels from a cable or satellite, and will not use the TV tuner, select Jump Jump disable selected Guide On Screen Bramble .." So I that while the satellite signal SKIP and works well, there is no way to switch between satellite and OTA antenna. I think people understand the writer as one of the entrances, satellite, cable or OTA. And you know what. There's Zip in the guide on how to cancel or re iManual Skip to screen function guide on Bramble. I think there must be a trick to use the "INPUT" on the remote but on the right side (in my early days), I see nothing in iManual that offer even the smallest clues "Cancel SKIP" would. I'll see what I found on the Sony forum.
