Toshiba plans for 3D TV without glasses

Toshiba will start selling the big screen 3D TV without glasses for the year 2011 and expects to start marketing the innovative device beyond its home turf of Japan, said Tuesday. The Japanese conglomerate has also announced an ambitious goal for a third increase in sales of its television unit for the beginning of the fiscal year in April, to 20 million.

Toshiba, whose products range from appliances to power plants, has already launched 12-inch, 20-inch versions of 3D TV without glasses in Japan. The need for special glasses is considered one of the main factors that hinder the sale of 3D television, but rival companies said the angle of vision without glasses technology is too restrictive.

Atsushi Murasawa, Product Manager for visual products, said at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Tuesday that the reaction has been favorable to the plan. The company will show prototypes of 3D TVs from 56 inches to 65 inches without glasses, and probably at CES the launch of two models, a more than 40 inches and 50 inches longer.

Toshiba makes the LCD screens in-house for its smaller models of the 3D TV without glasses, but the company said it would need to work with an external provider for large screens. The company also sells televisions capable for using 3D glasses with the usual, such as those offered by competitors such as Sony Corp., Toshiba aims to increase sales of television in developing and earnings by 10 percent of U.S. television market , compared with about 7 or 8 per cent currently.

For me, this is a good news for 3D fan!

Toshiba 32TL515U Reviews

TL515U

First, when we turn on the TV has a good black level for an LED/LCD. For automatic configuration, the back light can be a bit sensitive. The sound is good enough for television slim, as expected, disappeared. Many people associate of connectivity options, Netflix works great, love the ability to communicate with other computers on our network with play videos and movies.

Television has seen too much in the 1080p mode, 2D. This is a game mode which is really useful when you play video games. Customer Service Toshiba are willing to wait on the phone to fix things for you. The liability is cheaper and sounds great asset as well as what you see.

We think this TV small for 3D because they are at least 10 feet to get the right way too much work in 3D for a 32 inch. Television has a very narrow viewing angle when viewing 3D you literally watching TV one  up or down on the left or right to the whole image is blurred. The TV must be at least a minute or two again press the power button, which can be very annoying. The remote is big and it feels as if she wanted to know by doing some lifting when you collect. The stand is so fragile, no matter how tight you pull the nails fragile does not matter.

Summary: This is 32 inch TV that great for 2D images with great many features but for 3D will wait for more improve. If you want this see for price range not more than $1,000.

These 3D glasses fit comfortably over my regular glasses and are comfortable to use with my Sony PS3, Toshiba Blu-Ray 3D and 3D TV. I adjusted his glasses on the back of my head, probably began as an hour to choke a bit. The 3D image was created with them is very impressive, much better than I thought. Very funny and I recommend it to friends.

I like the TV with 3D glasses. They are comfortable to wear, glasses, even normal. The 3-D images is wonderful, you can not touch (or almost). The key to his glasses and takes the time to understand (if and when off). The green light when the eye blinks when you press the power button. But with practice, one can say with certainty when the 3D image is displayed correctly .... Use them, you want to make sure the computer is turned off for the batteries are not weak if they are abolished.

    Toshiba 46WX800U 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV Review

Toshiba 46WX800U 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV, BlackChoosing: I have been on the market for a new TV, but I was not going to get a 3D TV until I saw the sale on Amazon, which had included the Blu-ray glasses from $1,299. That good to pass up since I was planning to spend close of a normal LED/LCD TV anyway. There have been some sales of Panasonic and Samsung, but I chose Toshiba. This TV was replaced by 3.5 years, 50" Toshiba HD DLP. It was a very good 3D product, so I decided to exercise a little of brand loyalty. In addition, since Toshiba was one of the the last big manufacturers to release their 3D TV, I thought it would be probably the best picture, because they had more time to perfect their technology. This may be a flawed logic, but it worked for me. there was virtually no comment when I bought this TV, so I kept my fingers crossed.

Shipping:  I've been waiting for this thing as get to me - although it took me for five days, it seemed forever! The box had a huge hole in it (seemed to have kicked) and the back of the TV had a small dent. I signed up for this with the recognition that has been unprecedented, so if it did not work, I could return it. These things have an expedition is known to be rough on packages. The hematoma does not bother me (how it worked), so I brought home.

Installing: Back to home, was out of the box. This TV is very thin! It also surprisingly heavy (not too big, but is heavier than it looks). The base is attacked as it should be - pretty self explanatory. Plugged it and turned on. The TV I walked through the configuration as it should. The picture is very great - I do not have cable (I know), but the OTA stations seemed wonderful. It was very clean pictures. The response time was very quick to change channels (it was a bit slow on the DLP TV) Toshiba has options to change the image are endless -. I'm still tinkering with the image (although as it is made out the box is great).

With 3D: I bought A Christmas Carol, and Monsters Vs. Aliens (excluding eBay) in 3D. The installation is identical to a standard DVD player, but I think you need a HDMI 1.4 to transmit the 3D image. I hope this front, but fortunately I did some research before the TV arrived and ordered a cable for $7. It's not a big deal, but I would be angry if I had to make a trip to Best Buy to buy a $50 cable. For glasses, just pull the tab of the battery-saving light (you will see, if you do not know what I mean) and is ready to go. You can tell when the glasses are allowed because the changes of light through the lens. I think I had to change the TV to automatically detect the 3D, but a message appears and tells you what to do when you see a disk in 3D, so all you have to do.

STANDARD/Blu-Ray: Fantasy. There is not much more. It is a beautiful image with incredible detail. I thought that with old DLP HD Toshiba was a great movie, but I do not know if I will be able to look back on this TV due to the improvement on it. My blu-ray was really amazed at this TV. There are many settings, you can do for the you like picture, which is nice (I use no doubt, but is more of a comfort thing).

I did not know what to expect. After I ordered the 46" I started reading you need a bigger screen to enjoy 3D and I'm worried. Fortunately, it was not true! The picture is much more alive only in theaters. When I put A Christmas Carol, all I could do was smile. I read a lot of stuff here and there, people had questions about the 3D television ghosts and double images. It 's actually happened during a scene from A Christmas Carol , but I'm not really sure why (was that a character's nose has a ghost image during a scene) and it did not happen in other parties or other movies. I made it clear that the 3D image is better when the TV is about setting the most. I'm sure someone can explain why, but I can not. This was especially true during A Christmas Carol, a film that is very "dark" to begin.

Summary: Spend the money for this Toshiba 3D if you're in the market for a new TV. Amazon is current agreement includes everything you need for 3D (except for HDMI 1.4), and the picture is incredible. I think it will take long before the 3D TV falls much lower (at least a good). There is not much in terms of 3D media at the moment but I will.

    Toshiba 55WX800U 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV Review

Toshiba 55WX800U 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV, BlackThis was my first TV after I purchase a TV 57" Hitachi rear projection, So far so good. The picture quality is excellent when you send HD material. I have Dish Network and HD channels are perfect, the other channels are ok after seeing HD. The TV is capable of Great PQ. Wifi is impeccably fresh stream Netflix. Be sure to turn off the 240 Hz, unless your sport to watch or be unhappy with the effect of soap! But it seems that the football game with the top. The speakers are terrible (just like most thin LED) plans for multiple audio devices. TV is superb! a lot of thought when the screen is not lit, (like a mirror), but not too annoying when you play bad. No 3D look anything yet so I can not comment on that. All in all I am happy so far!

Ok, so after almost a month to try to get this TV has finally arrived today! The first shipment arrived on TV is broken, the second shipment, occurred when I said I would not have been there. So I returned the entire shipment, and it took more than five days later. Well, when they went to deliver the TV again I could not get hold of their program, when I called about 15 times in two days and nothing, then finally get their hands on them and tell me I have lost out for the day, I'll have to wait a week.

I was so angry that you can imagine. So I called Amazon and complained of the transport service terrible, have called the shipping company and told them they had to hand over the TV. So I finally managed to confirm that the TV was set to arrive Wednesday. Well, I waited and waited ... without TV. So I called Amazon again, while on the phone, the shipping company called me to say that the weather was too bad to be provided and that would be delivered the next day. Well, it happened, but two TV arrived, I asked to come back and refused to surrender and the new. Well, good thing because the box has come for the second TV had a 2ft hole in the side of the box. I'm pretty sure that the TV was still shocked. But luckily, my TV is in perfect condition:) Amazon has announced it will pay my account in about a week.

Now, installation is a breeze, set the TV on the couch, put 9 screws and my gf and me to stand. 2hdmi channel decoder connected my PS3. Created for the parameters of my TV and it works perfectly. Configure wireless works. Pandora is not configured for any reason. But I think it's necessary to update the next day or something. Netflix works.

Sound is not bad at all, no surround sound, but his strong point, not static. no problem. everything I expected. Photo: An Overview. Born and without streaks. T3 in search now on FX and without problems. It is a light appearance, but not bad. Just what I expected. T3 is quite dark in the 1 st half of the film so that it is because there is a glimmer of daylight. I have 11 windows where my TV and vaulted ceilings. I have not seen other people talk about the bleeding, but again, not its dark in my house and, honestly, I think people are too critical.

Quality: The stand is very robust, if you put it right. And television is the most beautiful TV I have ever seen. Much better than Samsung. He has 9 seconds per turn. Very little late to change the channel. Even non-HD channels look good, 480ip. They are just squares instead of the rectangle as the TV. I have not used a lot, but so far I have no complaints. After a week or two I will update again after I try to use multiple parameters. I will mention, I programmed the decoder, DVD/VCR no problem. Can I use the remote all:) For $ 1580, you can not beat the price / quality ratio. No regrets. I also bought the square of the commercial guarantee for each event. You never know ... recommended to anyone thinking of buying it!
