I have an Aspire One with the 6 cell battery (there's a wart on the back of the computer where the battery sticks out), and the fit is virtually perfect for this sleeve. Nothing else fits in the main compartment. The padding is very nice, just about right, not too much, not too little. It feels very good in your hand.



There is an ingeneous zippered pocket on the front of this sleeve. There is a slot for devices USB - mostly a USB flash drive, but also some shorter USB wires would fit in here. The Acer A/C adapter fits in the outer pouch, but you end up with a very lumpy sleeve (a pretty big bulge where you slid the adapter.



Of course this has the nasty old vinyl / neoprene odor that goes away after a few days. You'll want to turn this inside out and air it out in a sunny location.



As a sleeve - and it's important you know this is a sleeve, not a PC case - this is a very nice protector. You can very easily toss this in a larger PC bag, or carry on luggage, and have no fear that your computer will get scratched or damaged. It will not hold papers, hard drives, cell phone, etc. Just the computer and a USB key.



My sample is black. The charcoal color with gray accents is very nice looking.



March 6, 2011 update - iPads fit in this sleeve. I've carried my iPad for the past year inside this sleeve. With no cover on the iPad, the device is pretty loose inside. I used a DodoCase and then an InCase book style cover for a while, and they both fit inside this sleeve nice and snug. I'm now using an Amazon Basics silicone case that only covers the back of the iPad. The silicone hangs up on the sleeve material, so it's a bit harder to slide the iPad in and out. But then again, the iPad doesn't shift around inside the sleeve. This combination has been on forty or fifty flights in carry on with me over the past year - not a bit of damage or problem with the iPad. I like this bag a lot. I got it for my 13'' macbook pro and it fits perfectly. It is more cushiony than other sleeves I looked at and the pocket is a great addition. It stretches to hold funky shaped things like the charger, extension cord for the charger, flash drives, cds, and more. One review I read said that the inside is a furry material... it is more of a foam material that is very soft. It won't scratch at all. This sleeve is a great buy!

I bought this case for my 14" Lenovo ThinkPad with the 9-cell battery. I wanted extra protection for when I'm carrying it around campus in my backpack.



I was pleased to find that this case fits snugly around my extended battery pack with enough room for my power adaptor and USB mouse. The outside pocket is actually a functional size, even taking into account the stretching of the case around a computer. I was also impressed with the padding, which seems denser and higher-quality than other similarly-priced laptop sleeves I have seen at retail stores.



After a lot of comparison shopping, I'm quite satisfied with this product!

This is exactly what I was looking for with the added feature of a zippered pocket. Although this is a 14" sleeve, it's perfect for my 15.4" laptop, which happens to be 14" wide. Many other reviewers seem to think that a laptop sleeve should emulate a case. Not to be confused with a laptop case or bag, a laptop sleeve is just that and is meant to provide added protection when placing the laptop in a bag or container that isn't designed to transport a laptop, such as an attache case.

Thanks to another review, I was able to get a good feel if this sleeve would fit my DELL Mini 10v with a 6 cell (bigger) battery. The sleeve fits and expands just the right amount to accommodate the Mini 10 and its bigger battery. I was worried about the bigger battery and could not find any details (except from one review for this product) that gave any hint if it work fit. Not even DELL could get me that information (which is odd). Amazon does pretty well with this thanks to customer feedback.



I think this is a nicely made sleeve that will do a good job protecting my 10v as I travel now and then. It is cheap in cost and should work for anyone needing to transport a 10v.



For me, the sleeved mini will be put into the extra compartment of a laptop backpack. This compartment does not have padding so the sleeve will do the protection.

For what I bought it for, it gets does exactly what it was purchased to do. I own a Dell M1330, and it fits my laptop like a glove. I don't have the extended battery so I can't speak for how it'd fit (although I suppose since it is elastic it would fit an extended battery), but with the regular battery it fits like it was made for my 13.3" laptop. The additional pockets are a plus, as it'll expand to fit the power plugs for most laptops and even an interior flash drive pocket which i haven't used since flash drives are attached to me key-chain.



The sleeve itself is like a thin layer of memory form like material on the exterior lined with a fabricy (new word) smooth outer coating. Zippers have a rubber grip for easy access. Inside it's lined with a semi-fur like substance that seems to have been sprayed with a anti-scratch type coating which gives it a slight grip to minimize movement.



Personally speaking, i wouldn't recommend any sleeve for distance travels, but for short distances sure. If you plan on being very mobile, a laptop bag is a MUST. I use this in addition to a laptop bag because protecting my investment is a big factor for me. Click here for more information I bought this case after first seeing photos of it on CNET. It has a slim form factor that exposes the beauty of the iPad's aluminum and glass design but yet also provides sufficient front, back and side protection for the device. It fits the device perfectly, and the camera is centered perfectly in the camera cutout hole on the back of the case when installed properly. (I don't know what another reviewer was complaining about poor fit. Maybe he was attempting to install a first generation iPad into this iPad2 case.) This case folds into multiple of positions allowing you to use your iPad in a variety of ways. What the pictures don't show is that you can fold the case in even one lower position to allow for typing. In this position, the iPad is elevated about 1 inch in the back, allowing for a comfortable typing position. Other cases I previously owned for my old first gen. iPad were elevated too high in back when in the typing position, leading to aching wrists when typing for only a short period of time. What the photos also don't show is that you can fold the cover back (kind of like folding back a spiral bound notebook) to make the iPad in the case completely flat. I also like the light blue on black color scheme and find it to be sufficiently masculine for my tastes. I bought an Apple Smart Cover which hasn't arrived yet, but after reading comments online to the effect that the Smart Cover leaves scratches on the side of the iPad where it attaches, I will be returning it upon receipt. I've been very happy with this case. Here's why...



PROS

-Fits like a glove: The iPad slides in and stays secure. It doesn't slide out at all and remains steady when resting in the viewing grooves

-Protection: Covers the front and back without adding a ton of bulk to the device overall

-Look/feel: Feels sturdy and looks classic. Pretty slim overall too

-Button / Speaker Access: This case lets you easily access the side buttons and does not block the speaker at all. The iPad 1 had buttons on the side and a speaker on the bottom of the frame. Since Apple moved the buttons and speaker to essentially the back of the device, you need to make sure you can access them without peeling back the side of the case

-Price: $39.99 is as good as it gets in this field. Same price as a Smart Cover but protects the back of your iPad and does not leave streak marks on the screen, like Apple's Smart Covers do



CONS

-Color: this is a personal thing but I wish the inside was black too instead of blue, but again that's just me

-No Magnets: would have been nice to have since it's a cool new trick but doesn't make a big difference in the end. I knew this before I bought it so I'm not knocking the case but just saying



No other cons but ONE CLARIFICATION based on other reviews I've seen: Some people have complained that two of the corners do not stay tight on their iPad. This is because they are NOT supposed to. The bottom of the iPad must be free to swing out and fit into the grooves for viewing angles. Those corners are just there to protect the corners of your iPad when the case is closed. The iPad does not slide out of the top grips that do hold it in. Those work just fine.



Overall, I think it's a great case. I was originally looking at the incase Book Jacket but this one has much better button / speaker access and is a bit thinner too. I definitely recommend it to others.

In my 1 week of use, I really do like it. It meets my needs for protection and versatility. It feels good and sturdy; it props the screen up well for viewing movies on an airplane flight I took, and when folding the cover back behind the ipad itself for lap use, the material that is used to protect the inside grips well on clothing to hold pad steady. I felt confident that the ipad would be protected when I put it into my computer bag. I'm not sure how long those edge nubs will hold the pad in place, but in my opinion, I believe they will last reasonably well. I'll update my comments if I have any problems over time. So I'll keep this cover, I'm real happy with it so far.

I've had the case for a few days. Small and compact yet provides the protection I wanted in a case. The bottom clamps in lose by design so the unit easily comes out to the built in tilt positions. Sometimes the unit will slip from the tilt slots if you are holding the case in your hand vs setting up on a flat surface. This lose fit on the bottom is by design not a flaw. Overall a good value for the money. Also handled by Best Buy.

Bought this case before the new Ipad was released and I must admit it really surprised me. Works great as a stand but what's even better its very thin and light. It does not cover up the screen with annoying brackets and with the price its definitely better than the smart cover Apple offers since it actually protects your device. Click here for more information I don't write many of these but I saw the bads one and had to share my experiance. We have a 1 year old child and were going through batteries like crazy. We bought one of these in the hopes it will help. I must say buying the charger and batteries in addition is not cheap but helps save money in the end.



The screen to tell you how charged the batteries are is great. The batteries last almost as long as a regular battery. I remember as a kid (i'm 29) that recharable batteries were really bad, they would die on pretty much the same day. But that is no longer the case. We liked the charger and batteries so much we bought a second charger and all we use is recharables now. We use AA,C,D and i'm about to buy more AA do to the need and am going to try the 9V for the portable radio.



I have not tried any other large rechargers but I havn't had a need to. The quality is the same as others I have seen at the store, constructed with hard plastic and charges them quick. It's easy to open and close and using it is self explanatory.



All in all a great product and a money saver we love both of ours and have had them for over 2 years. If I needed another charger I would go right to this one. Energizer CHFC Family Charger

This charger worked really well for the first year or so I owned it. Now I am finding that it only charges batteries 30%-- and I'm not talking about the same old batteries I've had (which have only seen maybe 5 or so charges)... This happens even with brand new rechargeable cells. I've tried experimenting with charging 4 at a time vs 8, and have not seen a difference. It seems to recognize that some batteries are charged more than others when activated but does not fully charge them anymore. I'm going to give it one more shot to see if it can at least handle 1 cell at a time before throwing it in the dumpster. I don't think I've even come close to matching my investment in rechargeable batteries yet... I wish I would have just bought disposables...

I saw the negative comeents and read the good ones as well. As with anything electronic, there are going to be ones that work and those that don't. It may be a quality control issue. I have had this unti for almost three years at work and it is used consistently. I have never ahd a problem. It does what it is designed to do, recharge batteries. I use the batteries in a digital camera for ID photos and fr a flash unit. Again, never had a problem with the baterries performing and lasting a reasonable amount of time. Considering the cost of constantly buying more replacement baterries, I'll take this any day. If your cost analysis says something diferent, then you should do what's best for you. Even replacing the charger every couple of yearsis more cost effective than buying batteries over the same period of time.

I agree--it seems to be poor quality. Did not buy it on Amazon, but have owned this Energizer family charger for about 3 yrs. Only used it regularly for about a year or so, and it's already stopped working. Even before it quit altogether, it seemed to be charging the batteries inconsistently. Kind of defeats the purpose of saving $ by recharging batteries, if you have to replace the charger after only 18 months!

This charger does not work with non-Energizer brand batteries. It will not recognize them and will not charge them even if it does recognize them, instead indicating that they are "bad". Expect more from such a famous brand name battery maker. I do not recommend this product, instead I would recommend a cheap chinese made recharger that will recharge anything and everything you put in it. I'd rather overcharge the occasional battery than have 36 useless off brand NiMH batteries sitting around the house that I can't get any electricity into.

I dont know why there are some bad reviews on this unit! I am happy that I have found this item. It is sturdy and made out of hard plastic. As you would expect from a brand name like Energizer.

The LCD panel on the top of the panel is very well though out. It shows you how much charge remaining until the batteries are fully charged.I find it extremely useful.

And it takes almost all kinds of batteries.

I mainly got this unit for C and D cells. But it take AAA & AA & 9V as well. You put the batteries inside the charger and shut the lid and it starts charging. Simple.

And this is not expensive as well very reasonably priced.

Go get it if you are looking for a good charger.

This thing is awesome... I bought some 15 minute Energizers and after a year they wouldn't charge anymore... Someone told me to buy this unit and it would charge them... Well not only does it charge them but they seem to last longer than they ever did before... Click here for more information I have used this pop-up flash diffuser for a few days with my Nikon D90. It is working as advertised. Used under the correct circumstances, it will indeed diffuse flash output and lead to more evenly lit images than those produced without it. The quality of the product is so-so - it is made of molded plastic, and has a fairly cheap feel to it, but, of course, the price is quite low, so my expectations weren't very high to start with. The vendor sent me a box that was labeled as the 'Opteka' pop-up flash diffuser (not the 'Prolite' mentioned on the Amazon website). However, the product itself looks identical to that shown on Amazon.



The product has a few limitations that become apparent with use. It results in unevenly lit images under wide-angle conditions (none of the five possible screen positions will correct this), and it will not work well with very short distances between the camera and the subject). Finally, despite the TTL flash metering of the camera (which I presumed would compensate for the light loss produced by the diffuser), the flash on the camera has to be set to higher output values (+1EV) to result in lighting of the scene comparable to that achieved without the diffuser. Thus, with the diffuser, the flash's reach is actually substantially reduced.

I bought this for my Canon Rebel XT. Mine, too, came in a box marked Opteka. I am glad I bought this, as the product works fairly well and the price was reasonable. I used it to take some photos of my kids (in the stands) at a high school basketball game, where I know I couldn't bounce the flash with my speedlight. I was satisfied with the result of this pop-up diffuser. But, don't expect the kind of depth in your photos that you get from a speedlight. It just takes enough of the edge off the flash so that your images will look less flat than Uncle Lou's, who is not using a diffuser.



The product description says "Light loss is about 2/3 of a stop." Forget that. Even at a full stop, I thought the photos were underexposed. I ended up combining an exposure compensation (+1/3) with some flash compensation.



Update Feb 2011: I have upgraded to a Canon 50D and I tested the diffuser on that body. It fit fine and did not prevent the pop-up flash from engaging. Worked just fine. However, at least on other reviewer has commented that the mounting prevented the flash from popping-up on her 50D.

The first thing I did after receiving it was set up a test shoot, just like the person that posted the pics of the lamp on the sample images. I was skeptical that it would soften the shadow lines that much but it absolutely did, works perfectly. The key to it, is the little dimples and the curved surface. It diffuses light much better then a flat screen or paper. I do not intend to use the orange and blue diffusers. In fact I have plans to modify them for other uses (top secrete stuff). Also all of the similar diffusers like this one are all the same; they are just sold under different brand names. Just find the cheapest price and shipping combo between the different ones and get it. It's worth having, it takes up very little space in your bag, and it's cheap. It's by far the best option for diffusing a pop up flash. And it doesn't look ridiculous like some of the others. It's one of those "why didn't I think of this" type of products. I think those that got poor results have a weak internal flash to begin with. There's no fault in the product.

It's a plastic diffuser for the on-camera flash. It does decrease the intensity of the flash but that is expected with any diffuser. I purchased it to replace the paper I was using as a diffuser and freed up my hand. It's attached to my D90 and would recommend it to anyone else looking to soften the light on a on camera flash. This is not going to work like bouncing a flash off the ceiling, but it does a good job filling in.

You can achieve the same effect by putting a tissue paper over your internal flash, and it's MUCH more convenient, except it's just kind of ugly.

This thing doesn't stay on the camera firmly which irritates me. Whenever I rotate my camera, let's say for portrait shot, it slips right off immediately. VERY LOOSE.

I don't use it anymore after I got my external flash. I don't recommend people buying this product because it's a waste of 24 dollars. Spend it on bags or hand-straps, it's more worthy.

This product doesn't really soften the camera's onboard flash but blocks it.



The result is a weakened flash image, with some exposure in the center of the frame, but the dropoff to the edges creates a black, vignette effect.

Click here for more information I needed 2 handsets and an answering machine. After a little online research, I chose this phone. It has lived up to its promise. It was easy to set up, the reception is great throughout the house, and the answering machine part is great too. The sleek design makes it a little tough to prop the phone between the shoulder and ear for a hands free call. I haven't used many of the extra features (like storing phone numbers in the phone), but the little screen is easy to read, and the options menu is easy to navigate. It's a great phone. I bought this phone for my home office. It has several features that I really like.



-Unlike my last phone, the speaker button turns on and off the speaker phone option.

-It has a mute button which is very helpful for teleconferences.

-It does have a directory, so numbers can be added.

-The batteries in the handsets have a very long charge. So a 2-3 hour call is not a problem.

-I can switch handsets if one runs out of power. If a handset runs out of power, I only have a couple of minutes to find the other handset. So speed is of the essence.

-One option I find lacking is that this phone does not have a night mode where it can be set to automatically turn off the ringer at night.

-Sound quality is good.

-This phone does allow you to select from a set of ringers so it can have a unique ring. I find this helpful in identifying whether it is my house phone or business phone that is ringing.



Overall this phone has been a good choice.

Storing a lot of numbers is nice, and the sound was the best for me out of any cordless phones I have had. I have had problems with other newer phones interferring with my wireless internet router, but not this one. I have a solid dial tone and lighting fast dialing. The intercom feature is great too, now I don't have to yell upstairs to call the kids down.

This is a good, little phone for the price. It has many great features, and the sound quality is good. It's also very neat looking, and it is especially convenient to have the second unit elsewhere in the house.

I feel dreadfully old fashioned for being a landline hold out but if you're looking at this phone, you are too.

This has all the features I needed in a phone.It's cordless, it has an answering machine which is just more convenient for me than voicemail because I can screen calls even if the caller id is blocked, and it has 2 handsets. One of them I keep in my bedroom which doesn't have an outlet on the charger in there, the other one is in the living room.

The volume for the ringers are very easy to set and can be set loudly enough to wake up even the soundest sleeper.

The battery time is decent. It has to be. I have a bad habit of forgetting to put the phone back in the charger. The screens and the buttons are all easy to see and use.

We've had this two-pack for a few months now and both handsets work very well. It's nice having the second set where we don't have to get up while watching tv to check the caller ID. Battery life so far has been good as has sound quality. The menu system for making custom adjustments is pretty straightforward. I do wish that there were some better choices for ring tones. Most are obnoxious but at least we have the volume turned way down. The answerer works well and is very easy to use. Overall, at this point I would buy this product again.

We needed to replace a wall mounted unit with voice recording and two hand sets. This ATT unit met our expectations. The set up was easy, the hand sets are weighty enough and we can talk from our patio, about 50' from the base unit.

I've investigated and read about all what's out there and it looks like nothing is made very well any more. There is just junk to choose from.



I like the larger buttons that are easy to press. There are about 5 or 6 ring styles and the volume can be changed anywhere from lowest to highest. However the sound is not that good as they say. Maybe compared to others it might be better, but overall it's not great. You have to put your ear perectly to the phone or you might not hear well, and the recorded outgoing message voice sounds distorted to the callers. Oh, and getting to even record an outgoing message can be tricky to find on the menu. The battery could last longer too; just 4 days stand-by (no use) is not very good. Also, stored telephone numbers have to be programmed seperately into each handset as there is no way to send info from one hanset to the other. No speed-dial, but that's not a big deal to me.

Slingbox, Slingcatcher on my bedroom TV (don't have to pay the satellite company extra), wired internet in the garage where the wireless won't reach, as well as TV on an old laptop from the Slingbox, all very easy to set up. Sling makes stuff that just works, always easy to set up, and you don't have to be an IT geek to do it. I purchased this new Slinglink because I dropped one on a hard floor from about 4 feet while re-arranging some TV/DVD equipment, and it wouldn't work afterward. Yes, I tried smacking it again - no dice. But it was a good thing, because the new Slinglink Turbo is faster, and this was the connection to my Slingbox - eliminated the occasional stutter I had seen on my Slingcatcher-linked TV.

I purchased this for the pc in a room that I didn't want to run an ethernet cable to and the pc was an older pc for my kids so it didn't have a USB 2.0 port to work with a wireless device. This adapter works great and is truly plug and play. I already had one to connect my 2 DishNetwork DVR receivers to, so I knew it would be pretty good. Keep in mind that if you are new to using HomeLink devices you will need to purchase at least 2 initially, one for your device and one to connect to your router, unless you have DishNetwork receivers which have the capability built into the receiver and all you will need is one to connect to your router.

I have cable and didn't want to run 100ft. Bought and used the slinglink turbo w1 for dishnetwork hidepth receiver through my electricity and it works! Just plug it into an outlet near your link and plug it in.

This Slinglinck Turbo Ethernet Adapter was just what I needed. Although my wireless internet worked well for my den computer desktop and the laptop in most of the house, it was not strong enough to be accessed by my new Blueray Sony Wireless DVD player, which was also in the den. A Slinglink W1 had been installed at the N-router in the office to the house wiring, and simply installing this second unit from the house wiring to the Blueray Sony player in the den, worked great. Internet functions work well, with direct viewing from Netflix on demand.

Talk about easy setup. Plug one in to the router, the other to my DVR and that's it. You're online. I'm watching on demand & netflix. It's secure, fast & simple. The price of a wireless router without the headache or security issues.

I was skeptical that this would work here in our home but when I read the instructions it really is just a "plug and play" item. Since I have Dish network my box automatically recognized it after I reset my connection settings and I was done. Very easy to install. I am glad they came out with this because otherwise we would be having wires all over the place to hook up our box. Love that it goes through the electricity plug than phone cord.

This is a great product, easy to setup and use. Makes getting internet in your home anywhere, without using wireless. Dish network use this for there satellite receivers. If you don't want to run wires to get internet anywhere in your house, this is the easy way. Highly recommend.

I used my Slinglink for about 3 years until last week the receiver stopped working. I use it to connect my Tivo to the network and I find it much more reliable from the wireless option. I called Sling support to see if I can buy only the receiver because the transmitter seems to be working just fine, they were totally unhelpful and all they tried to do it sell me another SlingLink unit (both transmitter and receiver for over $100). When I asked about the W1, they said that it is not 'belong' to Sling, (It is sling technology, but they are not getting the money out of it) and didn't want to help or say if it might work or not with my existing transmitter. I ordered the W1 anyway, plugged it in and it works just fine, no setup, no nothing. Shame on Sling! (The company and support). And no. I don't have dish networks.

I have a section in my living room where my laptop does not get the wireless signal reliably. A couple of these Slinglink Turbo W1 adapters gave me a wired Ethernet connection. Extremely easy to setup, shows up as a 100 MB connection in my laptop. This one holds a 3 hour 40 minute (plus time to spare) charge (I tested with media player playing the first half the time and a backup running the second half - no idle time) and the other barely gets past 2 hours. HUGE difference. Also the other battery gets warm - not this one. Nice! I highly recommend this product.



As for the seller, the shipping time was fast and the price is decent, esp for what you're getting (it's like two thirds cheaper than buying direct from Dell if I'm not mistaken).

The first gotcha was that this battery is quite a bit bigger that the one it replaced (RN 873) but it fit the slot fine. Just stick out and down a little.



Second gotcha was absolutely no directions which should be not problem but...Apparently Dell uses a Smart Power system which has thousands of complaints on the internet.



Anyway, I powered down, installed battery and powered up. Power options said 63%. OK so far. 12 hours later still 63%....Uh Oh.



Long story (about 7 hours of Internetting, calling, attempted BIOS flashes etc) developed many horror stories about LIon batteries and Dell power adapter. The dreaded "unknown device" syndrome.



Here's how Dell recommended a reset. First, power down and remove battery. Second, unplug AC Power adapter from computer AND wall. Third-Wait till green light goes out. In my case, went and got coffee and watch a show.



Fourth - plug adapter into wall and computer and power up WITHOUT the battery installed.

After boot up, insert the battery.



It worked?!!?!

I bought this battery to replace the worn-out battery on my 2-year-old Inspiron 1525, which is battery model M911G. The one I received didn't fit the computer and it didnt look like the battery pictured above. Return was easy through Amazon, but disappointed that the battery didn't fit. Possibly my mistake, as the product description says it fits M911 (but doesn't say M911G).

For those that are confused about the physical size of the replacement battery; this is an extended size battery. There is the standard size that is flush with your laptop when inserted, and there are the extended sizes that protrude out approximately one inch from the back of your laptop. You will find this same protrusion on any extended size battery you buy directly from Dell. It will stick out the back a little, and that is normal. The standard size is a six cell battery and will give you a shorter run time on a charge. This is a nine cell battery, and this is how they get more run time out of the battery... it's bigger ;)



Considering the same size battery from Dell costs $179; I would say paying $39 is a bargain (price I paid at time of purchase). It would still be a bargain even if it lasts only half as long.



You can save yourself some headaches though on having to replace your battery more often than necessary:



- If you generally have your laptop plugged in and the battery is sitting there fully charged all the time, unplug it and let the battery run down a bit (about 40%) and then remove it. Your laptop will function just fine without the battery. When you need to use the battery, put it back in, let it charge up a bit, and use it.



I can't give this product a five star rating as I haven't had it for an extended period of time. I received it, plugged it in, discharged it, charged it up to full and it shows about 6.5 hours of run time with the backlight on the LCD at dim. Ran it down to 40% and put it away for storage. I'll come back and edit this review a few months down the road.

Well, a few months down the road has passed by. First, a little background info so you can relate my usage to what I am saying. I am a full time tech college student, I drive a small fifteen minutes both ways to campus, and I attend class four days out of the week. I have the computer on pretty much the whole time as that is where I store my notes, take my notes, and do some of my homework. I use the the battery fairly frequently. With all that use my battery still reads 6.5 hours. Not sure if it is reading right or not, but it does hold a charge through all my classes down to about the 15-20% mark at worst (depending on usage). I do keep the battery on power saver settings while in school; display dimness turned all the way down, display turns off in 3 minutes, goes to sleep in fifteen minutes, WiFi turned off unless I need to look something up. I do occasionally turn the display brightness up, but turn it back down after. Do realize that the more you are demanding out of your laptop, it will shorten how long your battery will be running, I am pretty much using it for Office 2007. I remove the battery on the weekends as I can run it off the power cord at home.



I have been pretty satisfied with the battery, so much that when my wife's laptop had her battery kick the bucket I went and ordered one for her also (she has the same brand/model laptop as I do). I would buy this battery again and am changing my rating for it to a five star.

I bought this battery to replace my m911g battery for my dell inspiron 1525. I was a little scared that it would not work since there was a report or two stating it was not compatable with the m911g battery. I took a leap of faith and bought it, the free amazon prime 2 day shipping had it in my hands the next day, and if it did not work I knew amazon would make returning the battery super easy. So I put the battery in the laptop plugged it in over night as per the instructions and booted it up this morning. Decent preformance out of the 9 cell battery, about 3 hours on normal usage so far. Per the instructions I ran the battery all the way down from the first charge and recharged it. Its now running only on battery after the second charge and it has been going for about an hour and a half now and still has 70% left. Granted I'm not doing much on it but still decent run time.



I'd say if your looking for a replacement battery for your inspiron 1525 or simliar take a chance on this battery. So far I've been plesantly suprised. Is it as great of a battery as a Dell branded 9 cell....maybe...maybe not. But to get 3 hours out of it is pretty good. Even if this battery only lasts 10 months I can afford to buy 4 more before speanding the same amount I'd spend on 1 dell 9 cell battery. If I buy 2 of these and get 2 yeras out of them by then its time to just replace the laptop at that point.



If my expereince changes I'll report back..but for now I'd say give it a shot.

This little battery is still running great for me. No problems at all using this battery since buying it. I would strongly suggest this to anyone with an Inspirion 1525. It is recognized properly by windows and charges with no issues. I can use it for all of 3 hours browsing the internet with no issues. Buy this now.
