Samsung UN55D8000 Reviews

At first the TV to put a little time setup. You need HDMI 1.4 for all work in 3D. And you can play your TV, but you really need to get your image depending on the source and the lighting of your room to sharpen. We set up and adjust the images. We hope that you can usually adjust the image for all sources, but after seeing a favorable moment for our cable tuner input, we realized that our PC, Blu-Ray, PS3 and refine the inputs separately. This is probably the biggest criticism we have on television. To schedule an afternoon to spend a day setting of the image. The menus are both fine. They are beautiful, but could be better.

Samsung UN46D8000 3D

A 3D glasses are included in this set. It is the nature. SSG-3100GB Samsung 3D active glasses (only compatible with the Samsung 3D TV with 2011) The glasses are design that the mouthpiece removed. We are the type of battery with 2 micro-USB cable. Eyewear can be recharged USB ports from TV output (if the TV is on) or a different USB port/charger.

Keep in mind, for the year 2011, Samsung has changed the way we communicate with glasses on TV. They have opted for Bluetooth vs. IR, resulting in 3D glasses for the models manufactured before 2011 are not compatible with the televisions. We've seen third party glasses advertised as compatible with 2010 and 2011, so we  suggest you be absolutely sure you know what you order.

If you plan to mount the TV to the wall, the new design uses plastic spacers that make the hardware supplied with wall brackets compatible with this TV. Make sure you have the right size for the screws to connect the TV to the mount. I used four screws M8-1.25x25 with 2 washers. The screws supplied with wall support were either too short or too long.

The wireless technology Wi-Fi works well. We had no problems connecting to my home network operating at 5 GHz WPA2-PSK (AES) security using WPS (WiFi Protected Setup).

The QWERTY remote control is included with this TV. QWERTY remote side must be combined with television, which has worked on the third test. We believe that we should be closer to the TV for this. There is also a Samsung App for the iPhone that turns your iPhone into a remote control. Unlike similar applications, Sony, Samsung lets you turn your party. We can not continue with this application, of course, because the TV must be turned on in order to communicate with this. The application works very well for what it is.

HDMI Return channel audio works as advertised. You must remember to connect the HDMI port, even if HDMI2 (marked "ARC" for the audio return channel). Do you have a compatible receiver ARC eliminates the need for optical cable between the TV and receiver to listen to the audio or network DTV tuner widget.

The image quality of the dish network HD channels out of the box was not very satisfactory, and some tweaking was needed. Sometimes, the screen should have a shade or two darker than suddenly in the middle of a scene. There are several parameters that might have something to do, and we must adapt to another until the best image.

3D looks absolutely beautiful. Our Blu-ray player (BDP), complained that he could not find a 3D-connected TV. However, the BDP was the same as they had disabled 3D feature by default.

Summary: This TV is excellent, the picture quality/features/appearance and much more. it was time to incorporate gadgets on TV, all the clutter on your TV. Access such as Internet access, DLNA, browser, QWERTY remote are a step in the right direction. There are other TVs that offer, but Samsung has done a great job UN55D8000 in this regard. We recommended that certain prices.

A size of 52 inches and costs $ 2299, will not be an impulse buy for anyone, but if you are looking for an HDTV big that you could do much worse than the KDL-52V5100. The Panasonic TC-P50G10 TV is a 50-inch 1080p Plasma that sells for $ 1,599 (MSRP). This is not a good television market, even if you buy a lot of screen space. Is it useful? In general, we were impressed by the video performance, but the great feature of the G10 series is a LAN port for Internet connectivity. As usual, you are a servant to any content producer has managed to scrounge together or partners, but at least Amazon Video On Demand open the archives of many movies and TV series.

Samsung PN50A760 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV with Red Touch of Color
    Samsung PN50A760
The Samsung PN50A760 is a 50-inch plasma TV with a set of high-end features. Although plagued by many problems that challenge the plasma TV as the energy consumption and a low maximum brightness of the Samsung PN50A760 has a certain amount of style, solid performance in many of our trials and extras such as Internet connectivity. $ 2,000 price is not entirely unreasonable.

    For 3D Technology
If you are not happy with flat images, and want to jump on the latest in HDTV, the TV is for you. The ability to view images in 3D with glasses is a relatively new TV and very few do it well. Make sure you get the best 3D experience available today and select a TV from the list below.

    Samsung PN51D6500 51-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Plasma HDTV (Black)
    Samsung PN51D6500
The Samsung PN51D6500 to $1299 (MSRP), making it one of the best deals for a large plasma television. Performance is strong in most regards they are not endemic to the weak plasma, this particular model. Samsung's new approach to multimedia content makes better TV platform, intelligent, probably. 3D visualization and throw the TV that is worth studying.

    Panasonic VIERA TC-P55GT30 55-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV
    Panasonic Viera TC-P55VT30
The Panasonic Viera TC-P55VT30 is the best of Panasonic's 2011 line. If there is a feature Panasonic wants to promote this year is here: 3D displays (including glasses), streaming content, WiFi, improved performance in many areas, and perhaps the television better than ever.

    Sony BRAVIA KDL55EX720 55-Inch 1080p 3D LED HDTV, Black
    Sony Bravia KDL-55EX720
The Sony KDL-55EX720 ($ 2.399 MSRP) is a measure of LED lighting to the 3D view LCD side. These second-generation 3D TVs are finally coming down in price, but we are not selling all the headaches and eye tension thing. That said, this TV has a core of large size and content of performance all the time, which could be enough to influence you.

    LG 47LX6500 47-Inch 3D 1080p 240 Hz LED Plus LCD HDTV, Espresso
    LG 47LX6500
The LG 47LX6500 (MSRP $ 2.699) has many interesting features, including 3D visualization. This is the first attempt at a 3D TV from LG (LX9500 with the series), and we are sorry to say that a bad result. Of course an artist is very good in 2D, but who wants to pay the "tax early adopter" if the 3D effect is a mess that cause headaches?

    Samsung UN46D6500 46-Inch 1080p 120HZ 3D LED TV (Black)
    Samsung UN46D6500
Although not the most high-end Samsung TV, Samsung UN46D6500 is quite good, and we are ready to bet that the features and performance that could get more expensive D7000 and D8000 series will be lost in the majority of customers. The LED on the LCD side includes 3D visualization, integrated WiFi, and perhaps the best "smart TV" interface on the market.

This product has been fantastic. The picture and sound is as good or better than more expensive models I've seen. This is the largest screen I've seen for an under counter TV (15.6"). The TV is worth the price but having a DVD/CD player, AM/FM radio and the fact that the grandchildren can play video games on it, makes it worth much more. I strongly suggest this item if you spend as much time in the kitchen as we do. Coby KTFDVD1560 15.6-Inch Under-the-Cabinet DVD/CD Player Swivel Screen with Digital TV and AM/FM Radio

I was so excited to finally get a TV/CD-Player/Radio in the kitchen so we could have something playing while we cooked, cleaned, etc. However, this unit has a few quirks I do not like:

    1. The magnets are insufficient to hold the screen in the upright position. As a result, it sags and I will have to add Velcro or something to keep it in place.

    2. The screen pivots on a half-inch swivel made of plastic; I just know it's going to have a stress fracture one of these days.

    3. The volume levels are disproportionate; setting 2 is too soft while setting 3 is too loud.

    4. There is no 'mode' indicator on the main display, so if the screen is in the up position, you can't see which one the unit is in: CD/DVD, radio, TV, aux.

    5. The clock is quite annoying; it's blinding in a dark room, and it also displays the seconds (always running, quite distracting).

    Some of the pros include:

    1. The price; the unit was relatively inexpensive.

    2. The screen quality appears to be good, though if viewed from any angle other than straight on, it fades.

    3. The mounting was relatively easy; though anything other than completely straight up-and-down drilling results in torque to the bolts.

    4. The radio searches and finds local stations, so all you have to do to find your favorite is press the channel up or down.

    5. The remote has a magnet, so you can store it on most anything metal; the fridge, the dishwasher, etc.

Overall, I think I should have gone with a higher-end model... but it's here, so I will enjoy it.

Installed the 15 inch Coby in the kitchen to sling the SD feed from the DVR, which is a coax connection on a fixed channel, so we're not using much of the tuner. The set works acceptably in this configuration, and the screen size is a plus. Lows include poor picture quality (fuzzy), poor sound reproduction, and am still having difficulties finding its code on the all-in-one remote. As a third TV so you don't have to turn up the one in the den, it's fine, and doing what it was intended for, and the price is fair.

I got exactly what I thought I would. A big, clear screen that moves easily to where I want it to be. Very easy to install as well.

Its a bit slow to turn on and to switch between DVD and radio functions. Seems odd in the day of modern electronics, but its only a mild annoyance. Overall a good product for the cost.

Okay folks, this isn't a 52 inch flat screen tv with 1080p resolution. This is a small 15 inch LCD tv that is meant for a kitchen and delivers all the features that you would want in a kitchen in a compact design. With that in mind, it is perfect. I ran my Insight cable to the tv and the picture is great. Obviously the digital channels that come in from cable look substantially better than the standard cable tv channels. It is like this with most digital LCD tvs though. WIth that said, the digital channels that I do have have a suprisingly really good picture. The FM and AM radios work flawlessly for me with clear channels coming in. The dvd player also worked fine with a clear picture. The remote control is indeed magnetic and is not the strongest magnet you are going to find. If you carefully place it on the fridge (not quickly throwing it on there) then it holds fine without sliding. The screen magnet is indeed a bit weak also. I will probably add a magnet to it to better secure the screen when it is placed up and not in use. The sound is fine for me. There are actually quite a few setting options on this unit that include picture setting (you can adjust a few picture settings such as contrast and brightness) although mine looked fine right out of the box. It also has an auto tuner for the tv that was able to search and find all of my cable stations once I plugged in the cable. I have not tried the tv with a standard tv antenna as I have access to cable tv in my kitchen and went that route.

BTW in terms of channel auto tuning--I read some reviews on another model made by COBY that people were not able to run the auto channel search after doing it the first time when you intitally set it up and the power would go out or you had to retune for whatever reason. You can run the auto scan anytime you want on this tv and it seems to work fine even with the power going out a few times with this tv.

There are not alot of options out there in terms of under-the-cabinet tvs and I did quite a bit of research before deciding to purchase this one. I settled on this one because the price was right and it had a large screen on it. I was somewhat turned off by all the negative reviews for most of the under-the-cabinet tvs but I am glad I decided to purchase this one as I am very happy with what I got. It looks really nice hanging in my kitchen and it doesn't take any space at all when folded up. I have only had the unit for a couple weeks so if I have any problems in the future I will be sure to update. But as of this moment, I would highly recommend this for anyone who has realistic expectations for a LCD tv that is truly meant for the kitchen. For an under-the-cabinet 15inch LCD tv/radio/dvd player for 200.00, I could not be more happy. I am enjoying it and suggest anyone on the fence to give it a try. - Under Counter Tv

Excellent Value - canon paper, photo paper

I have personally printed 4 photos using this paper (13x19) with a Canon 9500. The quality is fantastic. It is hard to believe how well this paper handles the color ink. I read some of the reviews on other sites about this paper. It was said the colors will last a 100 years. Well, that is good enough for me, knowing that I will hang around that long to find out.

I take a lot of photos at air shows and from one of the shows; I chose one of my favorite photos and printed using this paper. The results were more that I had expected. I was so impressed; I went on line and bought 3 more packets. Good paper for the price.

My girlfriend liked the paper too... especially the picture I printed of her. Good enough for her, good enough for me. Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II, 13 x 19 Inches, 20 Sheets (2311B026)

As a digital scrapbooker, I print 12 x 12 pages for my albums. I had previously used Staples brand matte finish because it seemed the most affordable. I was surprised to find such a low price on the Canon Plus Glossy II, so I tried a package. The results are amazing: clean, sharp prints. I use it exclusively now in my Canon, large format ink jet printer. I recently started custom scrapbooking for others, and this paper gives a professional look to my work. I'm impressed.

Great results when used with Canon printer and Inks.

Outstanding 13x19 prints on my Canon i9100 printer with Canon inks.

The on screen photoshop image is what you get color for color on the print no adjustments.

Very good quality paper. I've used the paper in a HP Photosmart B8550 printer and the quality of the photographs is outstanding. I use the ColorMunki Photo - Monitor, Printer & Projector Profiler and the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport for color management. The results are superb color photographs. - Canon Paper - Canon Photo Paper - Large - Photo Paper

    Digital Camera Accessory

The wireless remote is nice, lightweight and easy to use. The only thing I wish it could do is work from behind or even from the side of the camera. You must be facing the camera to hit the infrared sensor with the remote. If that would be something you would like too, I would recommend the wired version. Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Controller for Canon XT/XTi, XSi, T1i and T2i Digital SLR Cameras

I was skeptical while purchasing this remote if it would work with my Canon EOS 7D camera but then it worked perfectly fine. Addition of a pouch, which could be fixed to the Camera strap, was a pleasant surprise!!! A small hole on it's edge, can work as a keychain holder too!!! The remote works pretty much as a point and shoot!!!Canon EOS 7D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-inch LCD and 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Standard Zoom Lens

I just bought my Canon EOS Rebel T2i so I thought I would get this remote trip controller to add to my fun. When I first got it, I thought it didn't work, until I remembered that I hadn't set my camera under the Drive Move menu setting to Self-timer/Remote Control. Once I did this this remote worked like a charm.

This remote is far smaller than what I had expected. It is thinner than a pencil and is only a little bigger than my thumb. It also comes with a small, but fairly high quality, case. The remote doesn't do anything fancy other than send an IR signal to your camera as a shutter release. I wouldn't use this for long exposures (get the RS 60/80/TC80) for that. This remote has pretty impressive range too (it almost matches my pocket wizard, but line of sight is needed). For the most part, I use this for self-portraits and for photographing group shots that include me.

Although it doesn't say this in the description, this remote does work for the 7D (I use it). Just remember to set your camera to wireless mode under "Drive".

I received the RC-6 and am using it on my Canon T2i. It worked flawlessly from the get-go. Just point it at the front of the camera and fire! That 10 second mad dash is history! The RC-6 can be held at a low angle from perpendicular, and it still works. There is also a switch on the back of the remote that lets you change from instant action to a two second delay, if you wanted to have the remote concealed in the picture. This feature is very easy to use. Don't forget to change the "drive mode" from "single shooting" to "remote;" your camera manual will explain that, if needed. When you're done using the remote, you'll need to restore the original setting, otherwise you'll get an unwanted delay in your shutter release.

The RC-6 is very light weight, and smaller than I expected, but not in a negative way. Approximate dimensions are 2.5" tall, 1.25" wide, 0.1875" (3/16") thick (63mm X 32mm X 5mm). A few of the other reviewers said that the RC-6 was cheaply built, but I disagree with that assessment. Don't let the lack of weight fool you! Another point others made was the inability to use this remote from behind the camera while using a tripod. If you hold the remote with your right hand and point it toward yourself and in front of the camera's right side (next to the lens so that the IR signal will work on the camera, and so you don't get your hand or remote in the picture), you can trigger the shutter release while standing behind the camera. If you're using a shorter lens, you can always angle your remote hold position. This process is not as convenient as using the corded RS60-E3, for example, but it'll due in a pinch. It's a very nice remote and comes with a matched carrying case. You can't go wrong, and the price is right!

Works with the 7D, just set your drive mode to "self timer". Has a switch on the back that can be used to set the remote to instant shot or 2 second delay when in "stills" mode. During video recording setting 1 trips the shutter and setting 2 starts and stops the video recording.

Comes with a battery and a handy storage pouch that you can a-fix to your camera strap.

Indoors with a new battery, I have a measured 33 foot range from the front of the camera and 6 foot from behind. Maximum manual shutter release time is about 1.5 shots per second. In bulb mode, you press the remote once to open the shutter and again to close the shutter no need to "hold" the button.

The only real down side is you cannot do a "half press focus" with this remote. When you press the button you get instant focus and shutter release. This is not a big deal for portraits but might create some difficulties for macro or extreme zoom work where even the slightest touch of the on camera shutter might effect your cropping. I would most likely use a wired remote in those situations.

Overall a good remote but would be more versatile with "half press focus"

but... Despite being in the name of the product on Amazon, it does NOT work for the Canon EOS XS. I really hope they take that out of the title. Next time I'll read the product description from the manufacturer and not get over excited from the retailer description.

Keyboard Cleaner - cleaning kit, laptop

The other reviewer said that this product does nothing for the stuff under your keys and he's right. But it doesn't claim to either. Keeping computers clean can require many products. For keyboards its best to use a can of air to blow out the things under the keys and then to use this product. We've been doing that successfully with this product (and canned air) in our public computer lab for several years now. keyboard failures have dropped and are true failures of the keyboard hardware as a result.

If you still have a ball mouse, there is also a product that can clean the inside of the mouse.

I would also like to remind you (and save you some repair/replacement money) that keyboards and mice are also electronic equipment. Don't use alot of the liquid supplied, and make sure that the computer is turned off before cleaning. 3M Keyboard Cleaner Kit (674)

The reviewer who raked this product is silly -blaming the product because he didn't have the common sense to look up what the product does. Hello? -if there's no online description how about trying the 3M site? There's a clear description there, along with a photograph of the product being used. The fact is, this does exactly what it is designed to do -clean all the muck that builds up between and on keys. And it's great for that. There are two pointed sponge prongs on each end of a sponge pad. You put the cleaner on the tips of the prongs, which fit perfectly over each key so that you can clean all four side of the key. To get under keys there is only one way -compressed air.

    I recommend this product.

This 3M keyboard cleaner worked perfectly with my low-profile Apple keyboard. The sponge tool that is provided with the package did an excellent job of getting in between the keys, and the chemical cleaner dissolved the gunk that had built up over time with very little effort on my part. This is a very well-designed product.

This little gizmo worked great with the cleaner for my keys. In fact, the cleaner got almost all of my greasy palm prints off the lower part of the keyboard, when I thought those stains were permanent. Excellent product.

I used this product against a circa 1995 keyboard. The solution and pad removed all the grime very easily. Plenty of solution is provided. I'd guess there's about 4-5 keyboards worth of solution in the bottle.

I have an mac with a white keyboard.

When I saw the box, and the cleaning device, I was skeptical.

Much to my surprise and delight, it made my keyboard look like new, and it hardly took any time or effort. It was really easy. I highly recommend it.

A little goes a long way, so it should last you a long time.

Just received this product a couple days ago. It's basically a container of liquid, a weirdly shaped sponge/scrub tool, and a cloth for wiping off the excess gunk.

I first tried it on my Filco keyboard (cherry brown mx switches if you want to know) to see if it would get rid of some of the shininess on the keycaps. Well, it didn't, BUT -- the keys felt really clean when I typed on them, so there was definitely an improvement.

I then took it to work and used it on my apple low-profile keyboard (the wired one). After a couple years of using this keyboard, it had collected a considerable amount of dirt. A few months ago I tried cleaning it with just water and a cloth, and it pretty much was a total failure. Took me about an hour and really hurt my hands afterwards. So I was very interested to see what this would do. It was really amazing to see this product very easily restore the keys to their original white color. The amount of gunk I removed made the sponge turn brown! Yuck. After wiping the keyboard with the included cloth, it looked brand new. Awesome.

    CONCLUSION:

Good product, a little pricey, but you'd probably waste that money on other things anyway, right?

I have owned my computer for four years, and though I dust all the time, I've neglected the deep cleaning of my keyboard almost completely. It wasn't the worst-looking thing ever, but being a black keyboard, it shows every speck of dust, hair, etc. I do eat breakfast at my computer every morning, so crumbs do occasionally become a part of my keyboard's life. I took the major keys off & cleaned the inside & bigger pieces completely, but I needed something to get in between all of the crevices. I tried Q-Tips & other stuff, but nothing ever really did the trick. This did everything I was looking for.

This is designed really well. The scrub side, with several drops of the included cleaner on it, got my mouse & keys "exfoliated". I cleaned in between all the keys with the red ends of the scrubber, which I'd also doused w/ some more included cleaning fluid. That left it looking great. I finally wiped it all down w/ the included cloths & it basically looks brand-new. In between the keys was so bad it left the red cleaning points a charcoal grey by the end! For the completely anal-retentive like me, having dust anywhere is a major annoyance. Now I know what to buy to get this maddening chore over with. Just wish I'd discovered it sooner!

I'd prefer this to be sold in bulk, because while there's cleaning fluid left over, the ends of the scrubber are blackened by dirt & I really don't want to use them again. Honestly, I'd rather buy a package of four or something, have a slightly bigger container of the cleaning fluid and more cloths- less wasteful packaging that way, too. I'm dropping a star for packaging only- the product itself is fantastic. - Cleaning Kit - Cleaning - Clean - Laptop

    Panasonic VIERA TC-L32DT30 Reviews

We were set for less than 24 hours. The colors are very rich. The audio is decent. You need to adjust the high and low for the sound of a good sound. Most of the complaints, complain about the sound quality is bad, is due to the default configuration of the TV. This set is an easy to increase bass. Anyone ... The TV is connected to a TiVo box first. They work together a lot. It is equipped with Wi-Fi ready. We have not  yet tried 3D.

This TV will seduce you. Seems to have it all. It is not able to use the passive 3D glasses. We are forced to buy the active shutter glasses. They are much more expensive. The other problem is that the remote control uses infrared signals that are difficult to reproduce. This is a problem if you have a programmable remote to replace need for multiple remotes.

We test with a Logitech and may be updated via the Internet. Even with capability we were able to reproduce the signal. This is the test the first time that we get this problem. As far as price is concerned! You can get a much bigger size for 3D pricing. If you need a TV that would fit an opening of 29.6 inches and was forced to buy this TV. There are units available in price range from 65 inches. If you buy this be sure to adjust the audio settings from the factory. It seems bad enough the first time you taken And unfortunately thought it would be a good idea to put the plug-in jack on your TV. It causes the need for longer cables.
