It has worked so far on every surface from hard counter to my pant leg to the couch. Also plug and play like most USB mice. Cord is about 6 feet which has been more then enough so far. It works well and it's cheap, what more do you want from a mouse? Though the clicks are somewhat louder than most mouses I've used, but its hardly an issue.

So after a couple of months of usage it still works and the logo hasn't been rubbed off lol. Though the mouse wheel squeaks when rolling upwards, which is pretty annoying.
This is a very decent optical mouse. 5 foot cord length, fairly solid construction, works in USB or PS2, nice fit for a larger hand, seamless installation on Windows 7. Best of all, it is reasonably priced at just under $8. You can't go wrong. If for no other reason, buy this as a great back-up to your unreliable battery operated wireless or bluetooth mice for when you run out of AAA batteries.
This was a very good purchase. This mouse is even better than the mouse that came with my Dell Inspiron. I was a little skeptical because of the very low price but, in this case don't let the price fool you. This was an excellent value!
Mouse does what it's supposed to do for the price. It works well on my desk surface. I can finally discard the HP mouse that came with my desktop and was very erratic. Only slight negative is that the scroll wheel makes a little sound when used.
This mouse is good for the price. It is all black and has laser instead of the ball. The mouse also feels comfortable in your hands and the scroller is nice and smooth. The only thing is that it is not wireless but that doesnt bother me as it would to some people.
This mouse works great for our office. The laser is much better than having a ball. The mouse is pretty sensitive, which is nice, because then you don't have to move a lot (like with a mouse with ball, which we had). It is a good size. The only thing that I would have liked would be if the cord was just a bit longer, but that could be more our fault from having an old desk set up and a desktop.
I bought this mouse to use with my laptop because the touchpad/button can be rather uncooperative at times. Previously I was using a wireless optical mouse, but it was battery operated and would eat through a lot of batteries in a short amount of time. I decided to give a wired USB mouse a try instead and found that this was very reasonably priced. It works perfectly! The wire is plenty long enough for my needs and I never have trouble with navigating the pointer or clicking the buttons. I also use the wheel a lot to scroll and it doesn't "jump" the way my other mouse sometimes would. I am very pleased with my purchase of this product!
Great mouse. I am a medical transcriptionist and I've seen my fair share of mouse items. This is a great product, don't let the low price fool you that it isn't quality.
