I was looking for a charger that would work from either an AC adapter or a USB port. I also needed to make sure I found one that would work with the Samsung Captivate since the micro USB port is recessed and wider cables won't sit properly. I decided to go with an OEM charger to make sure I got something that worked since everyone claims to support the Captivate, but not all of them fit properly. Sure, I could have purchased a 3rd party charger for $5 or less, but with this one I knew I was getting something that worked properly.
This usb connector worked nicely for my samsung messenger touch. It charges and transfers my files in a timely fashion. It doesn't feel cheap and fits snugly in my phone. It has a detachable a/c charger or usb male end. A wise purchase.
I bought this as a second charger for my Samsung Fascinate. The cord is a little shorter than the one I got with my phone but that actually works out better for a second charger. Mostly I bought it to keep in my travel bag so I'm sure I can recharge my phone. This is a genuine Samsung product and has the Samsung name on the device. Highly recommend this because it's not a cheap knock-off that might overcharge your phone and damage the battery--and what a price.
I was a little worried about buying a cable for a few bucks, when the chain stores sell the same item for 20 plus bucks. So in fact I actually ordered on from this seller, and one from another seller. Both arrived on the same date, and both work perfectly. I ordered two so I don't have to always carry the cord around. I can have one at each of my locations. Great Price, Great Value. Would definitely suggest ordering for a replacement Epic 4G data charging cable.
I recently bought a used Samsung Captivate on Ebay that didn't come with the OEM USB "Data" Cable. It came with a USB cable that I could use to charge the phone but would not communicate through my computer to transfer photo, video, or other files that were too large to email or send otherwise. I ordered this OEM Travel Charger Adapter w/ Data Cable, and it worked like a charm. I am able to use the USB data cable to transfer files from my phone to my computer. The AC adapter also works like a charm. Great product for a great price.
Yes, Samsung Focus is not in the list mentioned by the seller,but it does work with Samsung Focus, and unlike some of the users the cable i got is similar in look and length to my original Samsung Focus cable. - Galaxy S - Samsung Captivate - Battery - Captivate
