Panasonic DMP-BDT210 Reviews

This is a nice Blu Ray. First, you load a lot faster than the blue ray player. Second, it has many more features than more expensive models on the market. The menu is very easy to use and easy. Internet connection is also very simple. I was connected via Wi-Fi immediately and was able to download the latest firmware without problems. There are many uses of the Internet like YouTube, Vudu, Netflix, etc. With the WiFi connection speed fast enough to watch movies in standard definition from the Internet after you connect directly to our cable modem I a fast enough connection for HD movies. The sensor on the top of the machine to open the disc is a nice touch.

There was also a function for which you can use Skype for video calls/communication, but requires the addition of a webcam in my opinion to be a certain type for this machine. There is also a blue ray player 3D, but I have not tried, I have not a 3D TV. It shows a beautiful blue ray high definition. DVD picture and regularly look great too. Overall it's a great machine with many functions. We hope to include the firmware at some point, as a Web browser, allowing true independence of the Internet, similar to other products like the Wii is updated.

Work in home networks and I would recommend this model for you because of its support 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Sony really should have emphasized this feature. 5Ghz support does not mean better reception, less interference and therefore greater reliability. 5Ghz if you have at home, not worry about wireless coverage if they have a big house with obstacles too many walls. It is almost as reliable as Ethernet. (And, of course, you are an AP or router that supports 5GHz need it, otherwise you will be able to use it).

The remote has a separate button on Netflix it! Just press and you will be put directly into Netflix, without having to use menus and mouse clicks. Now another part I like is on the unity of his amazing picture quality on HD Netflix videos. I have a Vizio 720p TV (an apartment) and the experience is simply amazing, when I watch movies from Netflix HD with the DMP-BDT210. No complaints! I must say that I try with a Blu-ray so that all my experience is about watching Netflix.

    LG BD670 Reviews

Many reviews said that this player could be play more digital files than the competition (such as AVI, MP4, DivX/avi, etc.) from wireless from Vista desktop computer, or USB. When we receive and configure the built-in wireless (ATT Uversa we have with the router in the room), it instantly make a search to find the firmware file. It takes about 10-15 minutes to start with the new firmware. Then you're finish. You must login to the  Netflix and other services and you're good done!

It was the DLNA streaming, built-in wireless. We were not disappointed in any of its functions. Wireless connectivity is a breeze - the installation is simple, this model assumes a 32 character WPA2. The wireless connection seems to be much more stable with other wireless devices that we have. Sometimes it is necessary, and off to connect at startup, but it is not surprising, given how our router is flaky.

Blu-ray play is really good. Many Blu-ray discs are apparently deliberately grainy because it duplicates the experience of "film" as the director intended. You can watch the movie mode on the TV, to reduce the grain, because it reduces the sharpness. Our other Blu-ray is very smooth and detailed, like most other drives. Resolution of the reproduction is excellent, you can see every pore on someone's face and the depth of field is incredible. There were gaps or stutters gels in each of the disks, which we played. Upscaling DVD is good too.

Wireless streaming from Netflix was absolutely painless, once we worked on Netflix ESN that the player is not in the network configuration menu, use the code you need to configure the connection Netflix. You have the icon menu that LG premium access premium streaming services, Netflix and select the connection you use the code from the setup menu there. Enter the code only once on the website and works automatically to streaming Netflix.

We hope our experience will save others the time to try to connect with the wrong code! Netflix streaming quality is very good, much better than most television shows. The player seems to play perfectly Netflix almost stuttering problem solving or degraded, even for HD movies. The only problems we've seen is when our internet connection is overloaded.

We are very pleased with how it was painless to set up streaming from a PC via DLNA. A copy of Nero Essentials Home Media Server is delivered on CD - We have installed these, the player automatically detect our computer and gave me a list of files that we could play on the record media. It was so easy! DLNA streaming media, works very well: We have had problems with stuttering only an amateur one, large (10 GB) of video files and stopped.

Summary: At the moment we are pleased with this player, only with the understanding that the problems they want a firmware update. Since these blu ray becomes more complex with all the different functions they have, but it also means there is still a chance for various bugs and unexpected like that player is still suffering from the resulting pop-ups, the need update the firmware.

      Samsung BD-C6900 Blu-ray Player

      Reviews

Updated old DVD player since 2000 to do so. I love this player. And visually sexy with its elegant design and blue. It very quiet. Installation is simple. I use Ethernet with the initial installation, upgrade and put the line. After that, I switched to wireless - I felt that it easier and faster. Samsung applications are limited and of no interest to me, but also includes Netflix, Vudu, and Pandora, and I use them regularly. Streaming online is flawless. No option to upgrade your applications - not important for me . We do not use the 3D function as our TV is not in 3D. I bought this DVD in anticipation of the possibility of an updated version of the 3-D television. Universal remote control, including self-acknowledged our television, and is easy to use . The whole family is very happy with this player. The operation is simple and all are able to use effortlessly.

Excellent player. The image with the DVD, Blu-Ray and Netflix is as good as I can imagine. I was surprised that even on DVDs that I have had an increase in quality compared to my old DVD player (5 years?). The image is better than when Netflix streaming for Xbox and AppleTV (!):. Show all in this Samsung plasma TV (63 ") and the AV receiver Onkyo has also noticed just a matter of Netflix streaming (must rebuffer) in> 100 streaming movies. I bought this album b / c the application works HuluP , only one (big) problem. like Hulu has content directly (who plays a lot) and Web-based content. the other is not playing for me this means that I still can not watch one of my favorite shows The problem great ... I am not able to get the wireless to work wireless2ethernet Bridge sitting right next to the player works perfectly, there are many complaints about other users, and today I am disappointed by the fact that Samsung has not (yet) so from this address. great image with the media, streaming big game. Bad Wireless.

Got it free with my new TV, July 1, 2011
By John R. Broumas "Jhon" (The Shore)
This came free when I bought my new Samsung TV. It works as expected. It is not wireless, but my house is wired. The 3-D is great. The interface is a bit slow and AllShare software is lacking, but the player works good.

Aaaarrrrgh!! the captain and crew likes it, June 24, 2011
By Captain Deaf Dumb and Bligh
I can only compare it to my Panasonic DVD player that I connected to my Panasonic 60-inch LCD rear projection TV. All I can say is wow, I connected the Samsung BD-D5500 3D for my new Samsung 59" 3D plasma TV. the colors are sharper and brighter than the first officer I can not keep it to ourselves. The crew continues to themselves more attractive to a movie. The 3D is pretty good. Although there are so few good movies bluray 3D available and are too expensive, Samsung BD-D5500C 3D Blu-ray with HDMI Cablebut I expect to have this configuration for years. so I was put on the future of cinema at the time. Anaglyph 3D movies are not even barely watchable. Do not know why I even left out.

          Reviews

I will keep this short and sweet. My wife bought a combo drive TV/Blu-Ray, and this was part of it. This player does everything I need to do. The thing I like most is the loading time. Blu-Ray made the charge in due course. It plays DVDs and CDs is beautiful and is DLNA is a great bonus. We can play any of our movies and music directly from our NAS. The fact that you can also download applications is a nice bonus ... Pandora and Netflix, even if we use this day gives you the freedom to develop and for people who use services like Slacker have not only stuck with Pandora, as with the older players.

Bottom line, the load times faster in 3D (if you bought the trick), scalability, AC/Internet, the quality of picture and sound incredible. My only complaint is the sensitivity of the keys on the front. It seems that all you have to do is jump and press a button. We have had this player for about 3 months and the only thing I can complain.

With a control panel touch screen, slim, Samsung Apps, and the ability to play all DVD formats and CD player that Samsung is better than an entry-level 3D for consumers who want the latest technology without a premium. Even if you do not have access (see the Samsung BD-C6800 3D Blu-ray player for less than 3D Samsung ago), can be directly connected to the system via Ethernet / LAN or using the adapter LinkStick Samsung. (Later). DVDs load fairly quickly, and the output is clean with little noise from the machine, unlike the first Samsung Blu-ray. The touch controls are great, but can take some getting used to, because I used to press the keys - and that player does not move slightly out of position.
LAN, Wireless USB Adapter for Samsung or flash drive, a HDMI port, two output channels; Samsung apps/Internet TV (it must be connected to broadband at home), and, of course, the 3D game. It should not: 5.1 or 7.1 audio output (receiver channels through a 7.1, so I do not care), an extra HDMI port, internal memory, built-in wireless. For these features, you must go to the drive line Samsung 3D. The remote is unexcusably embarrassing, but the good news is that TV remote elegant 3D you can use the Samsung BD player, so you can set aside, nothing more.
If you want your applications and Internet TV on your Samsung home theater system (Netflix, Pandora, Hulu Plus, YouTube, Facebook, etc.), connect to your home network. Why Samsung did not say "low end" 3D TV with built-in Wi-Fi and why this player does not have Wi-Fi, there are several alternatives. If you buy a Samsung LinkStick wireless adapter, you can use the TV most of the time, then go to your Blu-ray or BD Live updates 3D Wireless Samsung 3D TV is equipped with all the TV and Internet applications that player. You can also connect the Blu-ray player via a LAN cable to a game adapter or other wireless network extender. You can connect the drive directly via LAN / Ethernet cable to the router, if the two are close. Or you can skip that player and instead go to the next model. that could cost less than the price of a LinkStick.
You will need a player to play Blu-ray 3D 3D 3D TV, and that player is a great option. Sometimes, it is proposed as part of a promotion, so many people who could have paid extra for the end of the Wi-Fi with that place. Do not worry. It 'a great player, and issues - such as Wi-Fi and reading problems in two channels - can be overcome with minimal effort. This is the best player from Samsung offers? No "worth the price? Absolutely. It works like other online players, but without the additional 3D functions. Even if you do not already have a 3D TV, this unit offers enough to consider it.

Panasonic DMP-BDT100 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Player Review

Panasonic DMP-BDT100 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc PlayerPanasonic DMP-BDT100 3D Blu-ray is currently one of the cheapest Blu-ray 3D, but this does not mean sacrificing performance for cost savings. The player offers a robust set of options for streaming (Netflix, Amazon VOD, YouTube, Pandora, etc.) and very good upconverted DVD and Blu-ray extraordinary, for the same price as many standard 2D Blu-ray. UPDATE: Vudu is now available on BDT100 via a firmware update recently and the server.

It is a great player for the price Panasonic Bluray 3D. Like its sister BDT300  and BDT350 players ,you can choose the setting for the card, which works perfectly with my Mitsubishi WD60-737. I use it to stream Netflix movies. My first 3D experence, I have to say I was very impressed watching the movie Monster House Develop X102 glasses.

I waited to buy the Blu-ray 3D because it was half the price of BDT350. I was a little concerned if it was so good? I must say that this player is great. I saw the movie on the Panasonic has sent me to buy the 50-inch VT25 3D television. Now it's time to choose the film a little more! I a technician, but 3D is great that the film sent. I'm glad I went with Panasonic seem to have an advantage in 3D! I wanted to buy 3D glasses for the most part I only waited for the off-BDT100. Why spend money on a player when you can fit the whole family with 3D glasses! I made the right decision!

The player lacks some features compared to the top of the range DMP-BDT350: no dual HDMI output (only required if you use this with an old receiver is not compatible with the 3D), multi-channel analog outputs (not for use receivers with HDMI) is not integrated network and Wi-Fi (can be added via the wireless LAN adapter Panasonic). It also provides a user interface has a modern graphical user interface clumsy on the basis of what is seen by the current LG and Samsung Blu-ray, although it is higher than that of the user menu on the Pioneer players. However, the DMP-BDT100 provides all the basics and several advanced features, such as a strong high-definition video and audio performance. The player has passed all tests and films upconvert detection frequency of "Britney Spears and Munsil" and "HQV benchmark" DVD and Blu-ray also offers a brilliant and wide-format color prints 24p 4:04: 04 (24 options Output images / second) for both DVD and Blu-ray. If the disks are mainly money like watching movies, then there is little to fault in BDT100.

We have noticed a peculiarity with Netflix streaming BDT100. SD streaming content from Netflix, we saw something called "cue" (chroma upsampling error or "chroma bug"). This is something that can occur when a compressed video source has its color information upconverted to restore details lost in the process of color compression. BDT100 this upconversion is imperfect, which can lead to visible color bands or jagged edges on the borders between colors. The problem is obvious that the content definition Netflix streaming standard. Netflix HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc does not have this problem. And, frankly, that formed the eye could not even notice.

It becomes more evident when we move towards larger screens (eg, front projection systems), but some content can be viewed on screen size SD Netflix as the most common 42-inch and above. When asked if the problem is a deal-breaker for you or not, depends on how the standard-definition Netflix streaming to be done, and if the chroma bug is something that bothers you. But it would be negligent not to mention it. According to our contacts at Panasonic are aware of the problem and are working to find a solution.

If Netflix SD content is not part of your media plan, then we give an unqualified recommendation BDT100. But if you're watching a lot of standard definition content streamed from Netflix, then you may want to look elsewhere or wait to see if Panasonic can offer a solution to this problem BDT100. Our more detailed examination of the player is available on our Web site at Big Sound (dot com).
