I'm really happy with this projector so far. I set a screen in my own backyard, and had some success a few movies of the party.  I'm looking forward to Monday night football in the garden with my screen. The only drawbacks are a bit connectivity (VGA or S-Video ), and how much heat the unit. But this is a problem in a small room. Overall, great product for the money. Floodlights comparable to twice the price.

With the lights out at night or simply great works power point presentations and general use of computers ... the same for both films ... Once connected to the PS3 or my 360 pictures are not good as an LCD television, but it was possible to play and this is normal when you consider that this projector is 800x600 and is really cheap. .. When connected to my old Xbox, PS2 and my Wii works just like a quality TV, the same thing ... In any case I would not recommend this unit to play new video games ... Under the light is still fully functional ... you can see clear images even in a painting 60 "wide ... perfect for a projector to find the right ... I recommend ...

If this projector compared to my other two more (a declaration expensive Epson and BenQ) I only have one thing to say ... Since this acer did'n there when I bought my projector? This is superior in all terms ... Acer x1161p 2700, 2500 lumens is really ... in economy mode reduces the image quality as say 15% or 20% sunlight, but it is still ok,  On the other hand, at night you can barely see the difference. If you want to buy a projector to give serious consideration to fantastic remember, a replacement lamp for only $128.

    The price is very competitive, many projectors on the market for years. I was shopping a projector for months and constantly dissatisfied with the price vs. features, until I saw this model and can be preordered now. The fan noise is present, but very reasonable when you watch a movie that you quickly forget it's there. Eco-feature is a small step less bright than total, so I use most of the time of fullness and provides a bright lamp life and noise is less.

    The 3000 lumens is amazing, with a projection on the wall of my almost 8 to 10 meters in diameter. HDMI input, so you do not have to worry about the quality problems of both analog VGA cable. Surfing the Internet is quick and easy to read across the room, and movies are fine too. Many features in the menu system, including digital keystone correction, color settings, detailed captions, customizable splash screen start-up and much more. And the default settings are good, right out the box.

    The PJD6531w projector is great that creates a beautiful image, especially with the Blu-ray. The functions as a 3D feature is only compatible with certain computer graphics non-3D with any device that has made these days and Sony Playstation 3, or any other 3D-ready projector, if you Please, Use a different type of 3D projector system that the entertainment industry is heading. But all is not for those of us who projectors in size and price will be lost. Viewsonic has a product (Viewsonic 3D HD Video Processor (VP3D1)), the 3D media that comes from devices like the PS3 into a usable signal, such as projectors PJD6531w can converts. Even with the extra cost that makes it even cheaper projectors direction for a larger image.

    There are several options for connecting to the projector. The first and best is via the HDMI port. This has created a fantastic image of 720p and automatically displays the device sending the resolution should be sufficient. It is one, but two VGA ports, an RCA video port and S-video. There is a 3.5mm audio port for sending sound through headphones or external speakers. There are also two audio ports for 3.5 mm audio connection to accompany the various video inputs. The only complaint is that I wish it were red and white RCA audio cables, because I run my sound through the projector on and off a number of speakers. I had to buy an adapter from Radio Shack to connect my Wii red and white RCA cables to the 3.5mm jack on the projector.

    This projector has been an absolute fun to use. I hope life 4000-5000 lamp is precisely because they are going to use absolutely every day, until the lamp goes out. I do not really need to fight for this projector in this price category.

      Delivering High-Definition Performance for Under $1,000
      It work. I love this projector, 3D TV is about 2000-4000 dollars, but $799 for this projector is really good. I look with all the lights in my room, theater, and the brightness, color and quality are very good. I would really say that I have an IMAX experience at home. I would recommend this product to others.

      I bought my first projector ever, the HD66 from Amazon delivered and received across the Pacific in 9 days (I'm in Australia). Properly packaged and follow-up was enough to keep my anxiety at bay! The projector itself is a marvel! Very compact in size and easy to use, the setting of each function / is available in a few clicks on the menu. First I gave the set-top boxes and HD DVD with HDMI and the picture is brilliant. Remember, small changes to the settings should be preset modes that are horrible - and to be honest, you need to adjust according to your room / light / placement / wall / screen colors, etc! .. The quality of the video through the composite video is not good, but not many devices now use them .. There is a VGA to component converter cable (or vice versa) provided .. which gives the same result as strong as the HDMI.

      I am projecting onto a white wall-ish (not the screen!) However, the picture is amazing in detail .. I can see normal TV to 100 "inches (zoom -3) and for movies I have spent 124" inches (zoom 0) - Impressive! .. I have ceiling and the projection distance / ratio is just perfect. I noticed that the chip used in DLP HD66 has a native resolution of 1280x800 .. which is perfect for a laptop / VGA (square), but to watch television or movies in 16:9 aspect ratio, 1280x720 resolution is used (which is true 16:9). This means that there will be a slight shadow around the image is not used as a chip DLP 4:09 pm for the full picture. This is sometimes annoying for me because I put the project on a wall and have a viewing area in September, but to be honest, the projector is so bright, I leave a light in the adjoining room and low ambient light is care of the border . I had problems with the projector in the afternoon with the blinds closed (I have a dedicated theater room).

      The projector zoom is not enough .. I measured the full image diagonal only increased or decreased by about 8-10 inches. So, if the stroke is shorter than 100 inch image, the maximum would be 110". Mine is about 4, 5 m from the wall places that gives me 114 and 124" inch image of the remote control layout is intuitive and unnecessary -. even if you still want to use it for all the changes and on / off I do not. I used the 3D capabilities are not involved, and is not compatible with HD sources 3-D again (like TV or DVD / Blu-ray) - Optoma wait to release a firmware update if you get there.

      In summary, there is a light projector 720p. Displays SD and HD (1080p) with ease and is bright enough to be used with some lights or blinds closed during the day. The functions and controls are easy to use and the same unit is compact and can be placed unnoticed! .. Finally, the lamp of light is not necessary, the default setting is bright enough and Eco will give you 4000 hours of life - in a translation of currency 7c shows an hour! I hope this has helped those of you who are still undecided at this level to the inlet of the projector.
