Click here for more information These are the best rum cakes out there. I just returned from the Bahamas and brought several different brands of cakes back. These were by far the BEST so I ordered more on-line. LOVE LOVE LOVE these rum cakes.

I had first tasted this cake at the store in Key West. In fact, I tried every flavor of the free samples they had available. For years, I have wanted to order one of these cakes, but the minimum order from the Tortuga catalogue was more than I wanted to deal with. Besides that, the shipping and handling was quite high. When I saw the cakes available through Amazon, I still thought they were pricey, but super-saver free shipping was available, so I ordered two cakes, one for my family and one for a friend. The cake did not dissapoint. It was delicious, moist and delicious, and the rum was not overpowering. By eating just a sliver at a time, my husband, son, and I made the 16oz cake last nearly a week. It was a nice holiday treat.

Received this as a holiday gift, if you are in love with rum you should like this cake. It is nice and moist and has a pungent aroma of rum. It is made in the Cayman Islands. My dog was at first, slightly repelled by the smell but now it is following me around!

I was a little concerned about ordering food items from online but this was the perfect choice. My husband loves Rum and Tortuga Rum Cake but it is hard to find in local stores or it's to pricey for me. I had received a gift card for Amazon and thought I would give you guys a try. To my surprise it was fast, easy and worth it. I will have more orders. This cake is absolutely wonderful. My husband prefers it in thin slices with a little butter on top and heated in the microwave, just until a little warm. He also likes to add a little extra Rum. The cake was very fresh. If you like a soft and moist cake not sort of dry and spongy this is the cake for you. They have lots of different flavors as well. Hope this helps someone.

Sry for all the people whom thought this cake was going to be loaded with rum for them to be drunk off of but it isn't. Its to be enjoyed by people thats not of the legal age themselves also so there is little rum in it. With that said I am Jamaican myself and I bought this on a trip back up to the states and have been hooked ever since. I go back just to get this but something told me to try Amazon CAUSE AMAZON HAS EVERYTHING :) and I was delighted to know that its on here. I will be buying these things until I am sick of it and can't eat it anymore.

Figured, I'll go with the recommendation as I had ice cream on hand... popped a slice in the microwave for 20 secs, added a few scoops of ice cream... and OMG it was like another cake!

I love rum cake and usually make my own from scratch. I was a bit skeptical that this would actually be that good but figured I'd give it a try when I saw it in the Friday Sale one week. Much to my pleasant surprise, it is really good! The cake is very moist and the rum is not overpowering. It's also not overloaded with nuts -- just a light sprinkling on top is all. I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars only because I think it's a bit pricey. Click here for more information Recently my husband and I upgraded most of our small appliances and cookware. We opted for the Kitchenaid mixer and Calphalon cookware, and decided to skimp on the blender, figuring a blender is a blender and what difference would it make? It makes a big difference. We bought an Osterizer for dirt cheap at a local kitchen supply store and were not impressed with its capabilities. At this point I thought about buying the Kitchenaid but wanted to wait a little while, since the price was rather more than we wanted to pay for a blender.Around Christmas my husband and I visited back home. His grandparents have the Kitchenaid 5-speed blender. We were quite impressed with its capabilities in making a great mudslide; although there were still tiny ice chips in the drink, the blender did quite well in mixing everything very smoothly and with a minimum amount of noise (for a blender anyway).I was able to find one of these wonderful blenders refurbished through Amazon. Since I had earned a couple of gift certificates through my Amazon Visa card I got this for practically nothing. I must say, this would still be worth it even if I did pay full price. Even though it is refurbished it looks like new, and works great. The past few nights my husband and I have enjoyed the same great mudslides that we had in California, and I'm giving away my old Osterizer.Another impressive thing about this blender is its sturdiness. With the glass and the strong base, I'm not worried about this breaking; I was worried about that with all of the flimsy plastic of the Osterizer. When trying to make smoothies on the Osterizer I always kind of winced, afraid that it might blow up at any second. I don't worry about this with the Kitchenaid; this is very obviously a sound appliance.If you are in a money crunch, it's probably best to wait until Amazon has a refurbished model of this blender available; the only visible difference is it comes in a box that states that the product is refurbished. Also you usually won't have your pick of colors; you'll only be able to choose whatever color they have available. But whatever the price this is a great blender and you won't regret the purchase.By the way, I did A LOT of comparison shopping at other sites before I found the refurbished model here at Amazon; Amazon does have the best price on new models that I found, even without the current rebate that Kitchenaid is offering.

After reading most of the reviews for this blender I decided to add my own. I've owned this blender for over a year now and it works beautifully. I use it mainly for making smoothies, usually for myself, but often for family and friends when visiting. If its for 1 cup or a full container it does a great job. I put 1/2 cup water or milk, ice, frozen strawberries, sometimes bananas, apples and/or pineapple into the recipes. This blender makes them into a very smooth drink in quick time and no chucks of ice or fruit in the bottom. I put everything into the container and just let it run, it pulls everything through the blades on it's own. I've seen lots of these reviews showing theirs don't do the job, as my title states I either got lucky or it really is an excellent product and the ones that did the other reviews have had bad luck. I do recommend this blender (mine is the onyx black with glass container).

If you see this blender in a store, you'll be impressed. It has a very powerful motor. It's heavy -- solid steel, thick glass. Even the plastic top is rugged. It looks like it'll last a lifetime.



But depending on what you want it for, it may be a waste of money, because it is unsuitable for many common blending tasks. Like many other people have reported, I noticed that it left large chunks of food in the bottom, even after running a long time. I examined it closely and discovered the cause:



The cutting blades are NOT sharp. In fact, they're quite dull. There is no way you could cut yourself while cleaning this.



This seems to be intentional. When I emailed customer service, I was told, "Please note that the blade does not have sharp edging, as the blunt blades are designed to maximize superior ice crushing ability." They then went on to describe some ways that might minimize the problems this raises.



It occurred to me that if they included, or even sold at extra cost, another, sharper blade, they would probably make everybody happy. So I asked if there was a sharper blade available as a option. "Sorry".



So, if you want an ice crusher, this is your baby. It probably makes great margaritas. But if you want a blender to, uh, "blend" fruits, vegetables, etc, you'd better keep looking, since, amazingly, this model is not designed to do that.



So back it went, and back I went to my $15.00 1974 flimsy el-cheapo plastic blender, with sharp blades, that still works like a charm.

I'm a little surprised by the negative reviews in Amazon. At consumersearch.com, the Kitchen Aid blender was ranked head and shoulders above all other comparably priced blenders-- which is the reason I chose to purchase one. It IS extremely powerful. The container is little squatter and wider than most blenders, which makes scrapping with a spatula much easier. The touch pad controls make the unit very easy to clean. Click here for more information I bought this to use on my autistic 4-year old who is constantly seeking a lot of sensory activities. Actually, his behavioral therapist recommended it as she had one herself. I tried hers and had to buy it!



This is a great sensory product. The problem for me however is I'm not able to use it on my 4 year old because he has problems tolerating things on his head but my older son loves it and it's a great little stress buster for me. I don't work but if I did, I would definitely bring it to the office. I'm pretty sure if I did, I'd have a line of people waiting to try it.

I was given this as a gift and I was glad because I've always wanted one. I've had it for about 4 months now.



Pros:

It does feel good. It's fun using it on friends or family members. I like to use the handle as a massager on my neck/shoulder area which surprisingly has worked good. It doesn't break easily. It's super easy to hold.



Cons:

After using it awhile, my head begins to throb (sometimes is sore the next day). It's extremely annoying to try and find a good place to store it. It needs a string or something to hang it up with. My hair gets caught in it sometimes (not a lot). I would never use it if I had just gotten my hair done. The metal things (not sure what to call them) move easily- I'm readjusting them a lot.



Overall, it's all right. I would never buy one for myself so I'm glad I got one as a gift. If I ever bought another one, it would probably be an upgrade to one that vibrates (they made newer ones on their website). I wouldn't pay over $6 for this. Wow! If you are one of those people who love a scalp massage or head scratch this product is for you! It really is very relaxing to use on yourself.



My 3-pack came with 3 massages with the same colored handles (an interesting orangey-gold tone). Wouldn't have been my preference if I was buying in the store, but I am okay with it. It does not decrease my enjoyment of this product in any way.

This feels awsome for the first 10 seconds that you use it. It gives you pins and needles all over. I leave one in a drawer in the living room and my husband and I treat each other to a quick scalp massage when we think of it. I plan on giving the other 2 as gifts for the holidays. Everyone should own one of these..price is great to:)

I thought one of my friends would like this, so I got the three pack and gave one to her. She and several of of my other friends absolutely love it. When they massage themselves or especially when someone else massages them, they immediate zone out and appear totally content. They say that it feels amazing. My experience has been less extreme. When I do it to myself, it feels a lot like brushing my hair. That feels kind of good, and I think the amount of pressure that this thing gives is just about ideal, but it's not something that I would enjoy doing for minutes on end. When someone else does it to me, my head feels very tingly, and I laugh constantly. It is not as intense as having my ribs tickled, but I have to exert a little bit of willpower to stay still. I can't really decide whether it feels good or bad, but it is very interesting. I am a fairly ticklish person. Perhaps the others, who are, as far as I know, less ticklish, feel something significantly different than I do.

I was in all satisfied with my purchase, considering the price of the product. It is defintely worth 4-7 dollars, I mean an all out scalp massager for such a low price. I don't know exactly how long they will last, for I've only had mine a couple of days now. Hence the reason I bought 3. They do seem a little flimsier then the more expensive ones. But for the price you get what you pay for.

We ordered 2 sets and gave them to friends for Christmas gifts. Everyone thinks they are AWESOME!

The only complaint is that the "fingers" are a little tight - we gently spread them out a little. These things will give you goosebumps! It is difficult to explain, but after a long day at the office, things are AMAZING!

the item arrived very quickly, however the colors of the handles were all them same - not really a problem unless you need/want a certain color handle.

I bought this head massager for my husband as one of his present for Christmas... it was funny that everybody thought it was an egg beater, but boy he likes it.. he likes that tingle that you felt once you put it in your head.

Click here for more information This hot dog maker is obviously waay cute. It's also a good price. Compared to other cutesy hot dog makers, 8 dogs is a good number. I love the carnival themed umbrella sneeze guard over the dogs, and having that double as a bun warmer was an inspired idea. The poles that hold up the umbrella are nice and sturdy, and it assembles in only 1 minute. This thing has many bonus features:



*Rollers look just like the industrial unit at your local convenience store. They really roll!

*It can also handle 4 foot long dogs and even foot long buns! That's really great because my wife loves those. However, 4 is an anemic number.

*Nostalgia went to the extra expense to include an on/off switch and even a temp control. Temp control should prove useful vs. devices that do not include that.

*This unit includes a griddle attachment for hamburgers/bacon/sausage, etc. I think the unit is too small to be useful for frying hamburgers; you could only do two at a time. The griddle drops in where the rollers would otherwise go, so switching functions is not going to be convenient and will require tools or heat proof gloves if you don't want to wait for a cool-down period.

*The heating element is a beefy rectangular coil that gives good coverage of the cooking area and is directly exposed to the dogs, yielding fast, strong heat.

*The drip tray, griddle, and rollers are all removable for easy cleanup. Love that.

*The rollers are beefy all metal construction - nice.



So that adds up to one very nice unit, of which Nostalgia should be proud. The only real shortcoming I see is that eight dogs, while a good number for a toy device like this, can't stand up to much crowd control. Figure at least two dogs for each child, and three for each man and you're feeding only three to four people per batch. Assume the thing is lightning fast at ten minutes per batch and you see that you're going to need ten of these toys to feed your super bowl party, hahahaha.



Then you have to ask yourself, is this gizmo worth the space? It's pretty big, about the size of a toaster oven. Will you keep it out on the counter and use this special purpose device often (doubtful)? How far back in the closet will it be stored and will you go to the trouble to drag it out to cook up dogs for three people, pack it back up, and re-store it (doubtful)? So is it worth the space? I think it's probably best suited for its intended audience: a party of four kiddos.

I love this machine for one simple reason: it's easy enough to use that my 5 year old daughter is now able to make dinner for us. This was a great purchase. The hot dogs cook evenly and the buns get nice and warm. You can turn the heat down after the dogs are done cooking and let them spin on low heat until you are ready for another. I was nervous when I got it that I'd bring it home and it would be made cheaply and break easily, but no... this is a quality product. I am very happy with it. My daughter and her friends love this machine and it makes making lunch a breeze. I haven't used the gridle feature, but I don't really care about that. This is a great hot dog maker. End of story.

I bought this to use for my grandson's fifth birthday next week after reading the glowing reviews. We (actually, he) wanted to test it out so we did. Now we have used it about 4 times. As others have said, it makes the best hot dogs ever - must be the slow dripping of the juices as it rotates the dogs. It's easy to use and my grandson loves cooking his own (with supervision, of course).



I usually find that "gimmicky" things don't work well but this really does. Morevover, cleanup is a breeze - the rollers and the drip tray both remove easily. The heated buns are great also.



We just need to remember to buy "shorter" hot dogs for his party so we can cook eight at a time.

Addendum: 7/12/08:



We have had this for several months now and use it several times per week. My grandson still loves hot dogs made on this and several of our neighbors have decided to buy one. A must have if you like hot dogs!

I bought this for my dad for his birthday after consulting with my mom. They both loved it. It's cute, works well and was a hit at his birthday party. It does take a little while for the hotdogs to cook, so plan for that and start early enough. But no complaints here.

Got a replacement, and new unit works GREAT! - Amazon won't let me change Stars, but I'd change to 4.5 if I could.!

I purchased this after reading the reviews. I had no desire to use this for a party or large gathering, just one serving at a time ( 4-8 dogs). I tried it the day after it arrived and once since. The heating coils turn warm, but they don't warm up enough to prevent touching them after an hour on MAX heat. We tried two batches, after 1 hour the dogs were warm, more than room temp, but thats it. Click here for more information I'm a foodie; the kind of person who will drive miles to a bakery, who will visit Italy when the ricotta is sweetest. I'm also a skeptic. So, when I bought this book, I didn't expect much. But, was I ever wrong. What I love is that the authors turn everything you know about bread baking upside down, and the result is the best bread you'll ever make at home. Easily. Simply. Whenever you want. You must, however, read the introduction to the method to succeed as well as you might -- this is not a book to begin baking from the minute you buy it. But the few minutes you invest in all the suggestions pay off mightily -- how to tell when this particular kind of bread is really ready (I used to swear by an instant read thermometer -- forget that); how to dock it; how to store it, etc. The instructions are utterly clear. I've already baked ten loaves, each magnificent, and I've only had the book for a week. All kinds of breads are represented -- French loaves, ciabbata, pita, peasant -- I could go on and on. Enough for a lifetime of pleasure. Hertzberg and Francois are geniuses.

This is a terrific book ... I've tried the basic approach and it is great. To make it more useful (for some) I'd like to add a few notes.



The book has an unfortunate, (for me) bias towards light, fluffy breads and breads that rely on "ingredients". So...



Sourdough breads: I've been refrigerating my dough for years to increase the sourdough flavor. This books opens the door to a very simple approach to sourdough.



As the book notes, the sourdough taste increases with time in the refrigerator. So simply keep two sets of dough running ... a "dormant" set and an active set. Start by making a batch of dough. Stick it in the refrigerator and don't touch it for at least a week. After a week or so, make a second batch of dough. (I would mix in a hunk of the previously mixed, week old dough to enhance the sourdough development.) Now put this second batch away and start using the first batch ... which will have started to taste like a sourdough. When this first batch is used up, make up a brand new "dormant" batch and put it aside while you start using the batch that's been sitting in the refrigerator for the past week or so.



In this way you can keep a sourdough going forever, without any additional work. (Since you only a new batch when an old batch runs out.)



Rye and whole wheat: The technique is IDEAL for rye ... which is a gummy, no-knead but extremely delicate dough. I would certainly use much more rye than any of these recipes call for and would use the sourdough technique I mentioned above to develop flavor.



It its also ideal for whole wheat. The big problem with whole wheat is not the crust, (I'll mention a technique to bring out a crust), but that whole wheat contains bran, which, when kneaded, cuts the strands of gluten/protein. That's why 100% whole wheat is so dense. But, since you do not knead this dough, the bran does not cut the protein strands and the dough is free to rise almost as much as a white flour.



Personally, I use 50% rye and 50% whole wheat and, using the books oven technique get a great rise.



Another technique that develops a very thick crust, no matter the flour, is to bake the bread in a preheated, covered oven pot or casserole pot at 450 degrees.



By the way ... to get actual pumpernickel, forget the powders, (coffee and chocolate ... yeesh!) and just use pumpernickel flour in place of rye flour. (Pumpernickel flour is nothing more than whole grain rye flour.)

I have many bread baking books and was skeptical that this one would be any better or different. I expected either a catch in the "5 minutes", poor quality bread, or both. I made my first batch last week and was very impressed with both the ease and taste. You can really make the dough in just a few minutes and keep it in your fridge for use over the next 2 weeks. It was wonderful to be able to pull a chunk of the dough out of the container and have delicious bread (the last was more like a big roll) in just over an hour. I could make a loaf when I got home from work and serve it for dinner. There are many recipes included, but it also gave me a much more relaxed attitude toward the bread and I found myself making up my own additions by the time I was forming my second batch. I showed the book to a friend and rather than copy a few of the recipes, she decided to order the book herself because she said that everything looked good and it looked like stuff she would really make. Not many cookbooks earn that comment.



The book frequently calls for a pizza peel and baking stone. A set of the peel (or a suitable cutting board), stone (or an unglazed ceramic tile from Home Depot) and this book would make a great gift. In fact, I thought that I could cross several people off of my shopping list by buying the set or just the books for all. Unfortunately, it is already out of stock. Looks like I am not the only one who is impressed by it. I can't even give my book away and wait for a new copy because I spilled olive oil on it while making the sun dried tomato and Parmesan bread. By the way, it was delicious!

Click here for more information This item came in a 2 pack. They are lightweight and small. They aren't hard and sturdy like the ones you pay $40.00 for at a spa. But I like that they're more flexible because the expensive ones hurt my head and my wallet! This way I get 1 for me and 1 for a friend.

These things should be banned in more fundamentalist cultures and come with a warning stating, "Warning: May cause headgasms." I seriously sit at home in my nothing box (Mark Gangor, youtube) and twitch because of the effectiveness of this device. My friends use me for the wonderful little treats and my ex girlfriend stole one (thank goodness it's a two pack). All that combined with free shipping, $4.29 is as close as you can come to infidelity while being an angel.

This massager is just so-so, but I suppose you get what you pay for. I'm not sure why the handle comes to a point; that seems like a safety hazard. The product does provide a nice massage for your scalp for the price though.

It reminds me more of something I would have taken to a rave party when I was a kid, than anything I will actually use in my home. Kind of a waste of money, beyond the 5 minute novelty period when it first arrived.

Wow, this is easy to use (if your head is the right size)!

Our daughter bought one at IKEA for $6 and brought it to our home to try it out on us and her daughter. Neddless to say, it was the hit of the "going to bed" group as we all stayed up massaging each other's heads.

It is cheap, well made, fun to use and feels GREAT! (as Tony the Tiger would say).

Just a word to people with ethnic textured hair or very curly/wavy hair. This product may get stuck in your hair and pull strands. It's a very simple design - you basically just hold it by the stick-handle and push it down and pull it back up, again and again upon your scalp, moving it from section-to-section. The legs are flexible and are meant to slide outward on the scalp as you push down on the handle and slide back in the home position as you pull back up. This is fine if you have straight hair. The Packaging: Hard to open plastic packaging. But after a few minutes with some scissors it was smooth sailing.



Set up: Surprisingly easy. The massager comes packaged flat, but the prongs are easily to move into position. I did it in a few seconds. Next you attach the blue top piece which has two AA batteries already inside. One battery is purposely inserted the wrong way so that the thing doesn't buzz before you open it. So just switch that around and you're ready to go.



Using it: Fabulous! Feeling a little silly, I put the massager on my head (prongs on my scalp) and pressed the yellow button. It started buzzing and the effect was amazing. Who would have thought the scalp was such a sensitive area of the body? The sensation is extremely pleasurable and relaxing. Try this. You won't be disappointed.

I love this thing! It sends tickly shivers up and down my scalp, relaxing my neck and shoulders when they get too tense. I've even had good luck using it to shorten the duration of my migrane headaches. I'm planning on buying another to stash away - I don't want to discover it's no longer made if mine ever breaks.

Enjoy this item a lot. I have the tingler also but this is better as I can get the chills when I want to and not wait for someone to get home to use the tingler on me. Like the fact you can open and close the prongs, it's easy to do and is made to do this. I don't worry about the prongs breaking if you do this too much as I worry about the other non-mechanical tinglers out there. I kind of wish they were made this way also.

We were able to try this massager when it was on display at a store so we knew what we wanted but the one we tried did not have the vibrating capacity. The metal arms already do a nice massage by themselves but adding the vibration at the touch of a button makes it unbelievable. It works wonders on the pressure points on the head and almost takes away a headache. Worth every penny!

Love my Nukkles. Can use it with or without the motor. It really feels good and helps to relieve tension and headaches. I find the best massage by spacing the fingers all to one side to form a semi-circle for greater stimulation. Wow.........what a great feeling!

I thought that this would be an amazing product. I had tried one at a party that was non motorized and I wish I would've saved my money from this purchase. The motor is too strong and it feels like a jack hammer on top of your head and the 'arms' are so stiff quite honestly- it just plain hurts. I now will be spending extra $$ to get the plain old fashioned $2 non motorized version.

I am a special education teacher and some of my students have a lot of sensory issues with their head. I purchased this product to hopefully desensitize their heads after repeated use. My students absolutely LOVE this!! There are disagreements about who's turn it is to use it and we've had to set up a sign up system so that each student can have a turn. Small But Useful - multi-tool, swiss tech

Click here for more information It took about two months of every-day use, on a key chain with two other keys, before the Phillips head burrowed a hole into my jeans pocket, so I went back to Victorianox's pocket-friendly Swiss Army Classic.



The size and shape are nice and discreet. The metal is high quality for the cost and it's sturdy. The blade is very good, the handle system is very well designed and it locks open; the serrated edge is excellent for rope; the plain edge is a simple, one-sided bevel that's sharp, sturdy and holds a good edge. The screwdrivers work, but the slotted (flathead) ones cannot generate much torque since the blade is part of the handle (the Phillips is less tricky); overall they are sufficient for house/office work, but insufficient for locknuts or rust. The bottle opener works well (a can/ bottle opening combo would be much more useful in the same space). The locking mechanism was so stiff that it was inconvenient to open for about the first month - which meant that I didn't use it as much as I would have liked, but there were no fears of accidental opening. If I didn't mind patching pockets, I'd still use it; it never damaged anything else in my pockets - it's just like another key.

This thing is amazing for how cheap it is. It made it through security on the airplanes with no problem. The only problem I have is when i use the screwdriver my hand is holding the blade so i have to be careful not to squeeze down, but that's minor. Cool product.

The first thing most people reach for when they realize that they don't have a tool is their keys. This being the case, I have a small light and this Swiss Tech tool on my key chain. You forget that they are there until you need them. It will not last forever. I have gone through a few of these over time. A little play will develop and they can fall off. I usually expect that it is going to be good for at least 2 years. One of them broke when I dropped my keys. That being said, this is probably the coolest thing ever. You can cut off price tags, open boxes, and turn small screws. Used it to replace the batteries on the micro light, also on my key chain. Also good for food packages that don't want to open. There is no way to cover everything that I use this on, it is just darn handy. If you take a flight somewhere, you will want to remember to leave this in the car.

My husband has had one of these for over a year (or has it been two years now?), and we use it all the time, especially for opening cardboard boxes from Amazon! It's such a useful little gadget, I'm ordering one for my dad. Great Father's Day gift.

While there are some logical uses for this Swiss Tech Key, it seems almost a PITA to use it at most times. Opening it for the knife is actually quite dangerous, just as the way it is folded together. As for the keychain part, it also has a huge downfall: every time you use it, it comes off! Then you have to put it back on. I always forget this fact, too, which leads to my keys falling down, and sometimes that's not good! I suggest finding another utility key.

I ordered this as a gift....when I recieved the package in the mail the swiss tech box was there, but the tool itself was missing. I was very disappointed. It was tool late to to wait for them to replace it.

I had one of these for about two months before the Phillips screwdriver on it broke. One of the four "blades" simply cracked off while I was removing a screw. I wasn't applying a lot of force, and if it had been made better, it wouldn't have fallen apart.



I really like the design, I just wish the stainless steel they used wasn't so brittle.

This tool is a good idea, and has some useful stuff on it. However, maybe it's just me, but I have a heck of a time getting this thing opened. You have to get your finger nails into a tiny little notch (and since as a guy I always keep my nails cut short, that's not easy), and apply a fair amount of pressure to get it open without your nails slipping out of the notch. I hardly ever use it because I know it's going to be a 3 minute struggle just to get the thing open.



I'm leaving it at 3-stars (and not lower) in the hope that maybe it just needs to be broken in more and it will start opening more easily, and also because the size is nice (it's no more obtrusive than a normal key).



It's also cool how the part that attaches to the key ring comes undone when you open it, so it's easy to take on and off the key ring for use.

I first got this free with a utility knife I got for my husband, and kept it on my keyring. When it got misplaced I realized how much I really relied on it! For everything from removing the housing on the rear brake light on the car to opening the (seriously adult-proof wrapped) kids Christmas presents. I use the blade and philips head most, but the flat head has come in handy, too. I wouldn't rely on it for a bottle opener, though.
